Hey Brites! Can we smash the like button on this video to 500 likes? If we can our next cover might come sooner than you think! 😉
hi
Hey! how are you?
TeraBrite good thanks for asking. I hope you guys make a chop suey by System of a Down cover please do one please
TeraBrite my like is there guys!!
TeraBrite YES! I am excited to hear the vocals in the new covers! :) Nice job guys.
you'll notice a huge difference when you get them off the table and onto separate speaker stands
Holy shit. I haven't been able to find this channel since like 2013. The production quality has gone through the roof. And they haven't even uploaded in 2 years
Gets $1500 monitors. Sits them directly on table with no room treatment. Pointless
I realize the review is a little rough and not ideal. For what it's worth, the room is very small and doesn't have any reflections at all but either way we will be getting sound treatment for that room eventually. Regardless, as we mentioned in the video, these monitors are going in our other room which is already treated with Auralex foam but for now we have them set up in here while we get things situated. We had to work with what we had though because we promised Adam Audio a review and had to deliver! Luckily we know what our KRK's sound like in this space as well so we have something to base the comparison off of at least. =]
TeraBrite every room has reflections, I can hear your voice slightly echoing in the video lmao (reflections)
TeraBrite I was a bit trolly in my comment, I admit. But serioisly - if you're going to be using monitors such as these and getting more serious about mixing, then it's time too get more serious about room acoustics. And auralex foam just isn't going to cut it tbh. I recommend checking out GIK acoustics products, they will even do a free consultation over the phone about your room. Also realtraps.com has some good info to read up on. Once you have some proper room treatment, you can really hear what the Adams can do. Also I recommend adding a good sub, or 2.
My thoughts exactly when started watching!! Only using foam in Your studio is definitely not a good thing... Can actually alter the sound of the environment in a bad way...
"the room has no reflections" pah ha ha haaa... Riiiiight 😂
even the low rated krk will perform and reveal more with room treatment.
in terms of bang for buck 1500 in room treatment would have more of a difference.
a good set of headphones would be the cheapest option
I Listen to those 1500 euro Speaker on my 30 euro speakers
haha nice! =]
They cost 400 euro
Been watching since 2013 glad to see you guys still killing the comp!!! :)
You guys are GREAT!!! Thanks for the speaker demo!!
NICE! It even sounded wicked in the video! That's great that you finally have EXCELLENT studio monitors! Onward and upward!
🤘
I did buy them a week ago they sounds super and very clear sound with good bass👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ah.... STUFF! This is where we are at this point: stuff. just lovely.
I have a pair of those, I use them every day. My listening space is calibrated and the imaging is excellent. Those ribbon tweeters are quite something. My friend has a pair of Electrostatic Martin Logan's, and I can honestly say high end and mid range reproduction is very competitive indeed on the A7X's but I know that you can't compare apple and pear. Now with all that said, I also have two JBL L8400PCH/238 subs wired in stereo to complement my set up, and let me tell you - the sound is *INCREDIBLE*
The Adam's in this video are professional and they will treat your ears to some very nice audio candy. Various comments here are correct; you really do have to think about your room acoustics especially if you splash out on expensive monitor speakers.
Thanks for sharing!!
EDIT: Mixing on reference headphones is also a MUST. Do not think that listening to a mix on JUST studio monitor speakers will give you your desired result. You should do another video comparing your monitors vs reference headphones. I'm 100% sure you will agree with me once you've done it.
Might wanna get those puppies up to ear level on non transferable stands, they'll sound even better. Also get some really really solid decent bass traps around the room. Just a handy tip ;)
This isn't the permanent spot for them. I believe we mentioned in the video that this was temporary for the review and these speakers are eventually going into our main space which you can see in the studio tour video. In that area it will be sitting on an adjustable height desk, on the desk we sit the speakers on auralex foam bases, and the room has auralex treatment (although not any bass traps but it's good enough for what we need). Thanks for the tips though!
Sweet good to hear! you guys are going well so keep it up. I can make descent bass trap but I'm no good to you guys over here in Australia. But I'd recommend Acoustic fields if you guys are ever interested in controlling those nasty bass frequencies. 👍
cool video, makes me drool for the a series.
I’m buying a pair tomorrow
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they look amazing i got studio monitor since 8 month and this is really the best choice i made for my setup and btw since I have them I can not help but listen to your cover with the maximum volume
Nice!! Which studio monitors did you buy? You rock!
i got the Hercules XPS 2.0 60 DJ Set but it's nothing compared to the monster you have now XD
Loved the video, subscribed! liked! one note: never ever try to clean the ribbon tweeters... don't even blow on them softly XD
When I hear you talking there is a lot of reverberation. So I'm wondering how you can determine nearfield studio monitors in a "cold room". Please do some background study on how to set up a proper sound studio environment with issolation/absorption. These Adams A7X deserve some respect.
J. vdw J. vdw As far as the echoing goes, believe it or not that room is almost completely dead in real life. The door was open to a much larger room which isn't treated at all because we had no choice but to have the light shining through it to light the shot, but honestly even that is inaudible in real life. I'm not sure why it sounds the way it does in the video but I'm assuming it's due to the fact that the mic has compression and limiting on it for dialog and in my experience compression tends to bring out reflections and can make rooms sound worse than they really do when untreated. Regardless this was an admittedly imperfect setup, but it's a temporary placement for the speakers. Even the fact that the speakers aren't spaced appropriately is due to the fact that the HDMI cable for both the monitor and interface were stretched as far as they can go so the computer was in the way and was actually holding us back from spacing them further apart. We were just so excited to hear the speakers but were in the middle of transitioning our equipment over to our main mixing space so we had no choice but to skimp out on a few things. Either way, we know what the KRK's sound like in that room in it's current condition so in terms of a review, it's a fair comparison. We probably should have clarified in the video, but again the room reflections aren't really audible in real life, it's sort of strange how bad it sounds on camera. This pair of A7X's are now in our main room which is treated with Auralex foam. For the record, we went with foam because we live in this space and we don't want to deal with the very real risk of fibers getting in the air from acoustic panels. I would like to point out though that even in a treated room the speakers sounds just as good to me. Maybe I'm just better than others at naturally adjusting to an environment, but I feel like a lot of people (especially here on RUclips) put way too much weight on acoustic treatment when it comes to mixing. If you're not in an echoey mess it's not going to make the speakers sound wildly different. It's obviously more important for recording, but even that I don't agree ALL rooms you record in need to be treated. I have some recordings that were tracked in a bedroom that sound better than similar recordings done in our new vocal booth. I guess the point I'm making is if it's not the absolute worst conditions I think it comes down to a matter of preference in some cases. A lot of people disagree with this statement but I guess somehow these people have had different experiences than me.
Great speakers. Which audio-interface are you using?
So those are fantastic quality speakers. Something though you want to have the other set or a different cheaper set of speakers around for when you are demoing your stuff before release. If you have a song that sounds awesome over awesome speakers that's great, when it sounds awesome on cheap speakers as well, you know you've done something right. It boils down to not everyone has an expensive stereo setup so the better it sounds on low-end equipment the better for your listeners.
Of course! We always listen on multiple speakers to test it out, it's just of utmost importance to have one good set of speakers that are made to reproduce the audio as flat as possible so you know what your mix sounds like in the most natural state! The issue with listening on low-end equipment is it's all different so the only real way to get an idea for how your listeners are hearing your mix is listening on a BUNCH of different devices, (ipod headphones, phone speaker, car radio, etc.) which can get pretty daunting especially if you start to get obsessive about it like us haha. Thanks for watching!
Hey guys, great video. The edit for the unboxing was epic. So now that you have had these Adam monitors for some time have you noticed anything different? Just wondering because I’m look at getting pair. Thanks, Happy New Year!
Love This :)
I appreciate the kind words!
TeraBrite you're very welcome:)
Breaking in speakers isn't a myth, but its less noticeable with active speakers - everybody can hear it, especially in the bass area
nice.
if u use IsoAcoustics under the monitor, to seperate it from the desk it will be even much better
the room doesn't sound treated theres no way u can tell anything
Yes
If you want the best stereo sound stage when listening try move the speakers a bit further apart, rule of thumb is that the distance between the speakers should be the same as the distance to the listening position in such a way that you can draw a triangle, if you have them to close to eachother you will miss a lot of the stereo sound image. Try move them further apart and then move your chair backwards a bit till you have the same distance, when correct setup you should be able to hear the vocals floating right in the middle center between the speakers.
We're actually well aware of this rule. In this particular case it was a limit in room size and lack of length in cabling behind the monitor into the computer that limited us from spacing the speakers further apart or sitting further back and still being in the shot. The room might look pretty big but in reality it's a long skinny room, our back is practically up against the wall haha.
You need some Auralex Mopads to get better representation of the Adams. Having them flat on your desk beefs up the bass.
Nice setup
Thank you so much! =]
The majority of people who listen to music just listen through earphones... I get what DJ is saying though at about 10 minutes in... People listen to music in their own way whether they're using headphones or speakers. Informative and fun video!
I realize this was 3 years ago, but apparently there was a study from 2015 that came to the conclusion that "55% of Americans Prefer Their Music through Computer Speakers." Regardless, if you mix primarily on headphones you will likely cause a bunch of issues for speaker listeners whereas if you mix primarily on speakers chances are the mix will also sound great on headphones as well. Monitors are simply ideal in every scenario unless the room you're listening in is an echoey mess and you don't have the resources to treat it. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback! =]
Ah okay, helpful advice! Thanks. Looks like I'll be saving up for some good monitors. I have some old mattresses for soundproofing. I'll make the most of what I have.
I have been using SONY headphones like I said in another comment on this same video, they're great for listening to music but maybe not producing. The sound is accurate but too heavy on the bass. Time for me to find a part-time job, I think. Thanks again TeraBrite!
Just wondering, what kind of acoustic treatment was in the room you were testing the speakers in?
lol acoustic treatment ...well maybe they are using towels...
Also, idealy, yes you do want to use both to reference your mixes but you should also be telling people that it makes a huge difference in the type of acoustic treatments you have in your mixing area. Someone who doesn't have acoustic treatment up but has fancy nearfield monitors will have a harder time achieving a better mix than with a good pair of high quality studio monitor headphones. Although, I'm not really sure where you getting at with the idea that you can't hear stereo as well in headphones because if anything, you can hear the placement better which will give you more control over panning and overall stereo width.
Also, try mixing in mono.
I realize I probably should have elaborated a bit more as to give proper advice, but the intentions of this video weren't exactly to be educational, I was simply explaining the differences and advantages of using a good pair of studio monitors over headphones and giving my opinions on our new speakers.
With that said, while good acoustic treatment is relatively important and can make a big difference in most cases, I'm beginning to realize a lot of people here on RUclips like to fixate on it and put an overwhelmingly irrational amount of importance on it as if you're wasting your money buying good gear if you're not in a well treated space and in my experience that simply isn't always the case. Like I said it definitely does make a difference, but some rooms naturally sound better than others and are totally fine for mixing and even recording in some cases (although I'll definitely agree when it comes to recording, acoustic treatment is WAY more important). For the longest time we mixed and even recorded in a bedroom that had zero acoustic treatment and to be completely honest the acoustics in that room were better than even some well treated studios I've been in. Now with our new much larger space that is our new place for mixing the acoustics are terrible without treatment. We have quite a bit of auralex acoustic foam (we opted to use only foam and avoid fiberglass or anything like that for health reasons due to the fact that we also live in this space) placed in accordance to Auralex's recommendations and it definitely made a huge difference (we actually have a video placing all of the foam and testing how it sounds before and after in our vlogging channel), but it's simply something that wasn't needed previously in our old room.
As for the room we tested the speakers in: it's relatively small, very dead (although it might not sound like it because there's a decent amount of compression on the mic and the door is open to a much larger room), we know what the KRKs sound like in it, but it doesn't have any treatment. That said, the room was totally temporary. The speakers are now in our main mixing room that has acoustic treatment. This was simply a quick rough video that we threw together to test out the speakers. We know the room isn't ideal but to be completely honest the speakers sound just as good in both spaces.
I never said you can't hear stereo as well with headphones, my point was there are a plethora of issues you're causing (which I briefly go over in the video) when you're not listening in a room because you're hearing the left and right isolated to each ear but you're not hearing the crosstalk between the two channels. When you're not hearing what the two sides sound like mixed together in a room you're not hearing the proper stereo image of how a majority of your audience are going to hear your song (through speakers in a room) and that generally results in making bad mixing decisions.
As for mixing in mono, I totally understand the concept of it and why some people do it and I agree it's important. As for me, none of my recent mixes have had any phasing issues in mono so it's really not necessary for me although every once in a while I try listening to my mixes in mono when I try new things to make sure I'm not causing any issues I'm unaware of.
I'm happy to add one to the like counter! Now I just wish I had something better than SONY MDR headphones for producing... in fact I'm still using a broken laptop from 2012 for everything... it runs on an Intel integrated system...
I appreciate the like!! It's definitely nice to use great equipment but sometimes you gotta work with you have! =]
Comparing the Rokit's to these monitors is not fair. I would like to hear your thoughts on a comparison on the KRK Vxt 6 with these. I own the KRK VXT 4 which I think has a similar quality of sound. Keep up the good work.
This was definitely not a technical review but as you guys said, a good pair of monitors will reveal problems that a cheaper pair never will especially if the room is treated correctly and you have your ratios for speaker placement, listening position, reflections and bass traps sorted out.
I enjoyed the video. Very entertaining. Don't worry too much about the trolls in the comments. Some people just want to make a point of being heard even if they have nothing to say.
I like Adam s5v.
Would Adam A7x be a worthwhile upgrade from JBL LSR305? I like my JBLs, but I know someday I will want to step up.
U posted the video when i was sleeping xXD
Sleeping? It went public at 5:30 pm our time!
TeraBrite i guess my timing is either faster then ur time or the opposite
I love it
Glad you do! Thanks for watching! =]
Adam monitors are def amazing...good fun review....
but I need to know how long do you stand by a fan to get your hair to do that thing....
Before this vid, I saw an ADAM ad.
*you know this is the first video i have seen of yours in like 3+ years? no idea why it finally popped up into my sub box, i've been subbed since you guys started but it just now popped in and i'm glad it did. i thought you guys had quit or just started only playing games like everyone else is doing now. i think the last video i saw of yalls was when you were giving away copies of Sony Vegas Pro 13 if that tells you how long it's actually been. and i haven't been back to plalist live since the one i met you all at in 2012. so yeah it's been a minute. I'm Still using my 400 watt 8"JBL reference monitors that i've been using for years. they were $1800.00 a pair like 10 years ago when i got them. that "breakin period" is a total myth. they are an electronic component. They won't sound ANY defferent in 2 years than they do now unless of course you blow the speakers playing stuff too loud through them. You're not supposed to hear heavy bass so much through studio monitors. that's why you also use headphones. you use them both and balance the sound between the two*
Wow I remember you, long time no see! It's so weird how RUclips just randomly decided to stop sending our videos to some people, are you still subscribed? I guess that's why they introduced the notification bell because the sub boxes are so unreliable. Yeah, we definitely have released A LOT of videos since the Vegas Pro 13 video. You have a lot of catching up to do! lol Good to see you in the comments again! =]
TeraBrite yeah same. I started watching way back when you did Safe and Sound and I've only recently been seeing your stuff in my sub box again. I don't think I commented much, but I did adore your covers (still do! I've been catching up a little bit and also refreshing myself on older ones like Heart Attack and they're just as good as ever!)
I'm glad to be back watching your stuff!
Wow thanks for letting us know! Also, thank you for the kind words!
i've always liked what you two did musically and with your fans. pretty awesome! glad yall are still at it and that it was just youtube being stupid.
s257.photobucket.com/user/daddytech/media/youtube%20celebrity%20meetings/DJandSabrina-Terabrite_zps266a49fe.jpg.html
yes i was still subscribed. none of that had changed at all. yeah i'm going through them all now. started back 5 years ago with the one where you were giving away Sony Vegas 12. i'm still using 13 that i got when i found out it allowed me to do 4K video so now even though the files are huge i can use my Sony FDR-AX33 camcorder, go pro 5 or my cell phone to put up some nicer looking videos. by the way that "Bell" doesn't do anything more than being subbed. i'll check it anyway but so far every channel i've done that for have still only showed up when you tube felt like sending the video through on it's own time
Shout out to you for acknowledging Avenged Sevenfold.
$1,000 on the Thomann website!!
What are your computer specs? What case do you have with the lights?
You can watch the full review of the computer where we go over the specs and everything here: ruclips.net/video/gXT6VCfOHO8/видео.html
No more KRK's !! Lets hear the recordings thru these monitors yeah!!!
Personally I like these types of videos, tech related, great job
We love doing them too! We would gladly do them more often if there was more of a demand for them! =]
I think what you ment to say is that they are active speakers for mixing.
yaayy
Yay!! Thanks for watching!
Cool
Thanks! =]
but where are the speaker stands or acustic isolators.. tisk tisk
i can tell you dont understand that these are for mixdown of recording for the purpose of matching the variations of home sound systems
ESTOY CONTENTIIIIISIMOOOOO CON ELLOS SON UNA PUTA MARAVILLA LOS 1080€ MEJOR GASTADOS DE MI VIDA
They shouldn't be on 0 dB. Put your audio interface to max output, then calibrate your speakers with pink noise using an SPL to taste between to 77-83 dbfs at place of hearing, beginning by turning down the level of monitor completely, and adjusting it until chosen level is reached. Distance between monitors, left speaker to your seat and right speaker to your seat (equilateral triangle).
Tutorial here ruclips.net/video/idGvZnSnPhs/видео.html
MI addicted ROCK N ROLL
It also compares with Genelec Monitors
This is true! Do you have a pair?
TeraBrite nope. Just to think of the price comparison though, But I was thinking about getting a Yamaha HS Monitors. Krk monitors are good too.
Do you recommend these over the yamaha hs8?
yes
According to Adam audio, the A7x are pre broken in by them. Check on their RUclips channel
I've been mixing sound since 1985, and there is no "break-in" for speakers. What some people may be doing is cooking the voice coil and thus causing it to become permanently distorted because that distorted sound is what they're used to hearing.
The manufacturer says that they should run in( burnt in ) so why argue with them.
Idk what monitors you’ve been using but the sound can change dramatically after burn in or breakin. I’ve personally witnessed the low end change dramatically on the focal alpha 80. I did not experience this dramatic shift with the twin 6 be’s though. It depends on the monitors. And both of these monitors were used in the same room treated with roxul low end bass traps in corners, mid spectrum at 1st & 2nd reflection points.
👍
Thanks for watching! =]
I get that this has been covered, but there is no getting around it - room treatment is nowhere near as sexy as new toys, but without it we may as well be trying to consume / create / enhance music in a glass box. I'm not singling you guys out - you've clearly put a lot into this - but its increasingly common on YT. I loathe physics, but our rooms really are our biggest enemies. Thanks for the vid.
nice hair man! kinda looks like Justin Bieber in 2013
I ril like yor sogxs
cool!!!!!
Thanks!!
np
I like det
Thanks for watching!
Oh my gosh
Thanks for watching Juliana! =]
jesus man... it would be better if you treat the acoustics of your room..
'No strings attached' means they'll cut you loose if you give their gear a negative review ;)
Seriously, that should be the default understanding when manufacturers send gear to people for review : I know, I live in a fantasy world. but that's how I see it. Thanks for the vid.
What About the speaker lol damn homie
So many trolls, who make no videos, are self proclaimed know it all's. When ever you troll please leave a link to your mixes so we can witness your genius.
I hate comments like these. The world would be fairly odd if nobody was allowed to give their opinion or critique things. There is a science behind setting up, treating a room and positioning your speakers, so somebody's mixing ability has nothing to do with that, at all.
Hi,.. Cool
Thank you! =]
My name is Adam
hi
Hey!! =]
TeraBrite hi
Hey, watsup man
What sub would add with this?
I would assume either of Adam Audios' subs would pair with it will:
Sub10 Mk2 - amzn.to/2vYzz7k
Sub8 - amzn.to/2r60TLb
It’s all subjective out here in consumer land. Unless you have some solid research to back up your statements about how people consume your product don’t assume most people aren’t watching on iPads and listening on earbuds. Sound mixing like color correction is totally subjective. Your new monitors should help you get more in the middle of the road when it comes to mixing because you’re hearing more accurately and aren’t punching up the bass to overcome deficiencies in your previous monitors. These is a direct correlation between sound mixing and color correction. It’s why there are high end color corrected video monitors and high end sound corrected audio monitors, they let the creator accurately create a recording but you really have no idea what it looks like to every consumer, so you have to create for yourself and hope the average consumer “gets” it.
Exactly, it's very subjective and I touched on this briefly in the video! This is why it's important to listen on a wide assortment of low end devices and headphones to get an idea for what it might sound like for the average listener. If you want to talk about research apparently there's a study from 2015 that showed "55% of Americans Prefer Their Music through Computer Speakers." Regardless, if you mix primarily on headphones you will likely cause a bunch of issues for speaker listeners whereas if you mix primarily on speakers chances are the mix will also sound great on headphones as well. Monitors are simply ideal in every scenario unless the room you're listening in is an echoey mess and you don't have the resources to treat it.
You don't "Break In" your monitors. You tune your monitors for the room they are in.
Tuning the speakers and breaking in the speakers are two very different things. The theory is that when you get new speakers there's a "break in period" where they won't be performing at their maximum potential due to the fact that the many moving parts of a newly assembled speaker tend to be stiff and rigid at first. This supposedly hinders dynamic range and overall performance. In order to make these pieces more flexable they need a chance to move, so most people recommend playing them a little louder than you normally would for a bit to speed up that process. Like I said, it's up for debate whether there will be a noticeable difference before and after a "break in" but regardless this is a real term that is thrown around by not only professionals but by studio monitor manuals as well.
Hi!
Hey! How are you? Nice username! =]
TeraBrite I'm doing great! Thanks!
Hi
Hey Vance! Thanks for stopping by! =]
Eh a box cutter, you need to upgrade your unboxing knife to a big folding rainbow one like iJustine uses. ;-p
This is very true! We're gonna have to get on this!
Did you see the pics I posted in Memes on the Discord?
Good gawd the sibilance on your mic wtf are you even doing with those monitors
who sings (7:50)?
That's our cover of Saturday Night by Panic! At The Disco.
Focal Alpha 65 blow the Adams away on price/value/quality.
Maybe price, value is debatable, but definitely not quality! The Adam A7X is more portable (it's smaller and lighter), has a higher frequency range, more amplification power, and also has Adam's X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeters and midranges. All of this combined gives the A7X crisper more accurate highs at higher volume levels without compromising quality. So it's really just not a competition in terms of quality.. value really just depends if all of those advantages matter to you enough to justify the difference in cost.
I think A7X are good for most people. a sensible upgrade is to calibrate it with Reference 4 from Sonarworks. just my opinion
Hey TeraBrite. You guys have made many intros for other RUclipsrs. Check out Casey Neistats newest video, around 4:00 he asks if anyone can make a intro
Not sure if you saw it yet but we took your suggestion and featured your comment. Check it out! ruclips.net/video/qSiVG2oGAfw/видео.html
Thanks for letting us know about this! =]
haha, cool (Y) :)
Honestly, a great way to get a true mix is with stock apple headphones. always reference back to them. They're actually very true. Many producers such as Trampa preach about them. trampa has played edc and festivals all across the globe playing music out that has been mixed down and mastered with apple headphones. ive heard some of his tracks on the biggest sound rigs used in music and they're always on point.
fake news
Dat a lot of money
It really is, but like I said you get what you pay for when it comes to high end recording gear! =]
They are really quite mid ranged priced monitors tbh.. Seriously more expensive and pro gear out there
Hiii
Hey!! How are you? =]
Xinh
I would get some, but I'm poor...like really really poor...I'm getting there though. Just as long as I keep doing a quality cover a week
Hey man if you want the best entry level look at the new Adam T range they are sub 200 Dollar per speakers with a lot of the tech of the A range. Demo them at a local store against similar priced JBL, YAMAHA and Mackies.
jeasus adam audio's social media game....fucking take notes adidas
Your next upgrade shold be bowers and wilkins the king of studio Abbey road studios only use bowers and wilkins and real world and many more
Don't think that will be necessary. These A7X's are exactly what we were looking for! =]
there shit i sent mine back
You have no clue on monitor positioning, isolation from a hard surface and such basic things. I wonder how ADAM was convinced to send you a pair of monitors, you were really lucky!
Get the subwoofer if youre real
That's the plan eventually! Maybe Adam Audio could use another review? 🤔
most engineers do not use a subwoofer, except for occasionally checking the sub frequencies. most leave the sub off for 99 percent of the mix. if you are buying speakers just to listen to your music you'd be better off buying something made for that. these are reference speakers for mixing and the frequency spectrum is flat.
@@flipnap2112 Thats not true. Most producers use a sub but simply as an extension of the low end. Not like what most people think with a a booming Low end sound haha
@@Flippy2good engineers haven't used subs for decades. sub frequencies would make the mastering needle slice through the vinyl. only until recently did they start using subs for music that use subs. 90 percent of pop music don't use subs. its a specific flavor for a certain genre. subwoofer frequencies don't affect the usable spectrum that contains the usual parts of a song. yeah if you're mixing EDM or rap then use a sub, Because they feature subsonic freq. movies is a different beast
Sorry to write this, but these speakers are designed for proper studio listening. The way you present them is a bit of a parody ... There are no basic rules for proper listening. In such a test, you can only say that they are loud :-)
THAT DUDES LADY IS HOT.
Who said that about the scissors what a nobody whoever said that.
With those bare walls it will sound crappy no matter what monitor you use. Your voice is already full of room echo. It will sound VERY BAD and you should not mix anything with it. Time to control the room.
What are you Yelling about
spends 1500 in speakers...place them directly in the desk...hmm hmm thats a big no no
Lol
He looks like egor
