About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

I love Pat Morita. He was a great actor, may he rest in peace.
I first took notice of him back in the late sixties. He was doing a stand up comic routine at the Primadonna Club in Reno. Before the show we saw several performers congratulating him about something. "Good luck." they said, "We hope you'll remember us." It turned out he got some kind of gig in Hollywood. Maybe it was the Happy Days TV show. Anyhow the Primadonna Club had a show with dancers, music, and Pat did his routine billed as "The Hip Nip". He was actually pretty funny. I think there's a youtube interview in which he says that Redd Foxx helped him out with a loan or gift when he was beginning.
Shimakawua , mr.
So it WAS Mr Miyagi. I never clued into it back then, but I recognise him now.
Same here family, I'm just as guilty.
I bet he rested in peace when Marcy hit him
Ed O’Neil, such an incredible actor. He is just seamless with the Al Bundy Character.
Indeed. I'm glad he landed the Modern Family gig!
Seamless?
Plus he's a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu
@@RemmikRotus I'm surprised he didn't become typecast with this series.
Check him out on a serious side on "MIAMI VICE"'
" What brings you to the Jiggly Room? Well, the jiggly of course" brilliant!
Well...yeah. Even karate masters need some jiggly from time to time.
Everyone ignore the cops walking in LOL
@@rangerwill The turtle hermit from DBZ definitely could've used some joggly.
@@edwardgaines6561 People don't seem to get it. When martial arts gurus are sitting, spending all that time meditating, it's not all about gaining enlightenment or mental clarity. Sometimes they are wondering when it's time to see some jiggly
In the famous words of Al Bundy. Let's ROCK!
1:50 "Then get one!!!" I love officer Dan. He was so underrated.
And if I'm not mistaken, the other officer is played by Noah Wyle, probably best known as Dr. John Carter from series "E.R.". 🧐
I wish he got a spin off. his best line ' We're from Chicago we invented random violence.'
@@danielvanr.8681 Are you kidding me? This is from 1998, ER would have been on for four years.
F**KING GOLD!!!
Jefferson was such a great character. His disdain for Marcy in front al Al especially made the show. So glad I was around to actually enjoy this show.
They truly don't make 'em like that anymore. RIP, good television.
Amanda Bearse was absolutely perfect in this show. She was brilliantly cast. Her Marcy character played off of Steve and Al wonderfully. A great talent.
No i disagree she was horrible. She was not liked by the cast.
@@Nick41622 She had issues with Ed in later seasons.
@@mwont Yes, true.
@Nick Galea she was liked by the cast, it was just Ed who didn't like her after she didn't invite him to her wedding ( they were friends during the first few seasons)
@@Nick41622 Well, there was indeed tension between her and Ed O'Neill behind the scenes (I think she also disliked David Faustino), but that doesn't take away from the fact that she was brilliant in her role.
This is one of the greatest scenes ever made on TV in human history.
the great Pat Morita even loves the jiggly.
Well ofcourse
God rest his soul.
Who doesn't love the jiggly?
Mr. Miyagi loves Jiggly Room lol
Amanda bearse's acting is always genius 🥰🥰🥰
She was funny in the show. The fantasies in particular.
"What brings you to The Jiggly Room?"
"The Jiggly!!!" 😂😅😂😅😂
Funny scene. Esp when Office Dan shows up!
RIP Pat Morita who was a great guest star in this episode.
and RIP that beautiful Neon sign in the back. That sign has not been jiggling for a long time.
He's not dead. I saw him on Karate Kid a month ago.
@@JJSeattle He died back in 2005. His role in that show is from an archive of the time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Morita
@@themaskedblueknight7490 Noooooooooo! Fake news! I'm watching him on Cobra Kia as I type and I just watched him last night on The David Letteman Show.
RIP to the one and only
Edit: “what brings you to the Jiggly Room”
“Quite honesty the Jiggly”
I love that look on Al’s face just before he joins the fight!
Cue George Thorogood
This show was so ridiculous. And that's why we love it.
My favorite TV show. Used to watch the fresh episodes at 7PM everyday after ST-TNG, and Cheers after. Never again would we have something like this.
Amanda looks lovely in that outfit!
Agree!
Better than a chicken suit
also agree...
😍😍😛😛🥰
Greatest show ever made, I don't give a shit about what others say.
i say your are right
Amen.
Easily the best, I have the collection of this classic comedy, I copied them twice, in case any scratch ends up on one of the DVDs. This is timeless, I was 17 in1987, when this hilarious comedy came Out, this comedy is so addictive to me! Every day I watch it, It ended with poor bud being paralyzed and treated Like dirt. It's hard to believe, bud was in little house on the prairie, in 1980, It was called the silent cry. MWC, beats them all by a landslide....
@@celinejohnston3694
Whoever has copies of this treasure, has to preserve it for posterity.
We all know the woke mob will come for it sooner or later.
I'm very surprised it is still going under their deranged radar so far.
@@celinejohnston3694 maan... What I would do for a full collection.. One day I'll get it
What a great Cast. Memories for Ever!
Steve and Bud were living their best life up in there
Jefferson. Steve was already long gone at this point.
My childhood was much better because of this show
And my adulthood! Discussed this show a lot in my high tech job at a big company that later disappeared.
explains why both of you are still tossing off on the musty sofa in your parent's basement. Pathetic eunuchs. 😆
Mr. Miyagi with a guest appearance. 🥋👊
"What brings you to The Jiggly Room?"
"To be honest, the jiggly"
😂
Not gonna lie Marcy has got it going on 8).
I know. Isn't it crazy she's lesbian?
I still remember her in Fright Night.
YES, SHE DID HAVE IT GOING ON! I LOVED IT!
Too bad she keeps such goods buttoned up.
Pat Morita was perfect acting with Ed O’Neill (Al Bundy) together. Morita said “ever man has its own price” to Al Bundy lol. One of my favorite Married With Children episodes. I love the Spring Break episode where
the pageant announced Al Bundy’s name Mr. Miyagi Wong from Taiwan.😊
Much love to Katey Sagal!! May she be blessed and heal well!! Love ya in NC!! 🐾
heal? what happened?

Marcie is one of only 2 people to ever land a hit on Mr Myagie!!!
She should be on cobra Kai teaching miyagi do karate
Obviously all you have to do for that is "SHAKE IT, BABY!"
Yeah. But notice she had to cover his face so he didn't see it coming
@BruceWayne-sz3th But he could hear it, not with his head covered. Blind fighting, but you need your ears. The coat doesn't help.
Who was the other?
If Ralph Macchio was there, he wouldn't stand by and let his mentor be knocked out by Marcy.
Amanda Bearse and Ed O'Neill's Feud is Legendary
Jefferson singing I'm so excited I just can't hide it! Hilarious!
Al's face when there is a chance for a random fight lol
His “it’s go time” face
What there a fight scene, seems I have to rewatch this
I don't think you could reproduce this because it would be impossible to get a actor as good as Al Bundy. This show was such a big hit in Germany. so much so that they made their own version of married with children.
Tell me more about it. Maybe I should learn some german haha
Prayers 🙏 for Katey Sagal. She had to be rushed to the hospital yesterday after being hit by a car while crossing the street in LA.
They're looking at a suspect, middle aged, driving a 70s era Dodge.
Non life threatening, expected to be released today or tomorrow.
@@blppt LOL
Yes, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as reported. She's doing fine🙂👍
She is going to be fine, and able to go home today.
I like how the 'OO' in the neon "Jiggly ROOM" sign goes up and down and up and down . . .
4:32 This grin... he knew that he unleashed hell not just right there, but also for real once more. :D
By this time in the series, Ed O’Neil and Amanda Bearse had an intense dislike for each other. It’s a credit to their professionalism because you’d never know it. The on-screen chemistry between them was excellent.
Amanda didn’t invite Ed O’Neil or Danny Faustino to her wedding. She was concerned they’d find it funny and would laugh as two women walked down the aisle in tuxedos and exchanged vows. Ed said she was right. “It is funny!”
Her “wedding” 😂
What a king
And he was right
It’s David. David Faustino.
Thank you for the correction!
The greatest comedy of all time, I don't care what anybody says, nothing will ever come close to this gold.
Titus was awesome too

It's the best Show ever!
The show almost bombed until some woman pushed for it to be banned - then people watched it and saw how good it was and it lasted for years. Sometimes protesting something does not work the way you want.
The show was for the fellas! We ain't know how good we had it in the 90s.
2:05 lol Officer Dan is a legend
Al always said Marcy was flat....but look at her. :D
Every town and city should have a Jiggly Room.
Fighting erups, but.. the dancing girls are really pro, and keep on dancing.. amazing!
I love the 90’s!!!!
Man, it sure does take a lot to get Al in a bar fight. Such restraint.
Ed O’Neil based his character off his uncle and it’s brilliant 😂 a true American man 😂
yeah thats not something to be happy about, because you're reminding everyone that al is a character the real ed might be abit of a libtard
infact his admitted fans have become sadden when they yell out "al" to him in real life and he replies "thats not me" i.e they find out their hero is a lie
His Uncle was a Judge.
@@VTuber_Central lol Al is not supposed o be a good guy. The Bundys are not supposed to be good people. I don't know what show you've been watching.
*Trained fighters like John Creece and Terry Silver couldn't whip Miyagi but Marcie clobbered him with just one punch.*
Ed o’ neill is a Comical genius!!the guy has it down to a T!😊🙌
Would have loved to see something with him and Leslie Nielsen.
@@azwanazmi1484 excellent point
@@amg4150 What I meant to say was both could be not considered acting but embellishments of their own personalities. The unscripted comedy between them would be amazing.
@@azwanazmi1484 it would be amazing. You’re right though.both Leslie and Ed are accomplishments In Their own right. They are old school which is great.they are traditional satirical actors. They Weren’t afraid of political correctness.

Marcy Darcy is one of the few people to beat Mister Miyagi in one blow.
@Dutty Jones A punch?
Such great times. When people had a sense of humor and not sensitive crybaby’s. So glad I grew up when the world had brains and a backbone.
Quote of the century:
I CAN SEE EVERYTHING WITH MY X-RAY ONION EYEGLASSES!
I did that once, wife was not amused
And she bats for the other team! Love it!
More likely she is the catcher.
One of my top 10.Loved Pat Morita in this. You know how to shake it baby!!!
Greatest sitcom ever
Marcy: Mr. Shimokawa!? What brings you to the Jiggly Room?
Mr. Shimokawa: Quite honestly the jiggly
They should have made Mr. Shimikawa an honorary No Ma'am-er for that response alone.
That's just damn good TV.
So unbelievably, incredibly, extremely AWESOME COMEDY PROGRAM. And AWESOME characters.
Brilliant Marcy 💯 👍🏻👍🏻
Marcy is a bold negotiator.
Quite honestly, the jiggly!
Don’t mess with Ed O’Neill. Very good in martial arts.
Man, I wish they made shows like this now!!
MWC never gets old 🤣🤣🤣
I used to have a crush on Marcy
Me too...the Steve "Marcy" with the longer, darker hair.
Best part of this scene is Marcy's boss getting immediately flipped upside down and bodyslammed, lol.
I'd say it's the look on Al's face when he gets bumped into. "BAR BRAWL IS ON!"
Mr Miagi to you.
I think they were shaking the money out of his pockets.lol
i kept trying to hit like, but my button kept clicking dislike, so, my bad, lol
@@thedave7760 To me he's also Arnold from "Happy Days!" AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
It's a shame that the great Pat Morita never lived long enough to be on Cobra Kai. Miyagi stole the series.
It would’ve been awesome to see Johnny and Miyagi having a chat. Then again, you never know if Johnny may stop by Miyagi’s grave
I just can't wait until the series turns returns, but it's all the covid's fault for sure.
As the director of the local play said on _Community,_ you think this story is about Daniel-San? This story is about Mr. Miyagi. Pat Morita was nominated for an Oscar. Ralph Macchio? Showed up.
Still stealing the series with these quotes they occasionally drop of his
"We do not train to be merciful here. Mercy is for the weak. Here, in the streets, in competition. A man confronts you, he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy"
Greatest sitcom ever!
Every time I see a clip I like I try to subscribe 😂. But you can only subscribe once! Man I love this show!
Peg " You miss me honey?"...Al "with every bullet my dear". My man AL Bundy.
Jefferson is phenominal in this episode:)))
The best tv sitcom ever. Nothing will ever match this. Especially given how sensitive the cancel culture is these days. I need to go find and buy the entire dvd set of all Hess seasons before they decide to censor shit
Agreed!
I got the whole Series alll 262 episodes on DVD for Christmas!!

Are people STILL crying and whining about so-called "cancel culture?"
I miss this show. Al's favorite and safe place in the world: the Jiggly Room.

@@bbser There was a club in Tulsa that had "Legs and Eggs" special. When they went out of business, I was driving by with my friend who said "huh...maybe they should have served grits."
I think Al Bundy is the only sitcom dad who threw down!!
This show is an American Treasure!!
Pat Morita has been about the Jiggly since the 70's. Check out his rare stand ups from the 70's which was geared for predominantly black audiences. booty came up often. XD
she dreamed about those four touchdowns so this happened
mr miyagi: jiggy up , jiggy down, jiggy up, jiggy down
Hahah!! I cracked up when and. Shimokawa ran up on stage
Al Bundy and Mr.Myagi, how could you go wrong👍
It’s 2023 and it’s still funny
You just made Al's day.
I love the Jiggly too!
I love this tv show
I remember when i watched this the first time years ago, I almost went crazy when Marcy shows up at the end, if I knew she was a lesbian at the time, I wouldn't have wasted my time thinking about her, at all.
But as always Al was a legend in this episode.
So glad I got to grow up on watching this when it originally aired. Watching it today is still great but doesn’t do justice
The only person to land a clean hit on Mr. Miyagi.
Marcy aint got nothing to shake.
One the best show ever
I agree 100% with this guy. If she can't buy a rusty Car from a rusty shoe salesman, then how is she going to negotiate BANKING deals with her clients?
If anyone else was Al Bundy the show wouldn't of been such a success. Ed O'Neil made the show worth watching. Well that and the gorgeous babes of course.
4:13 "You no how to shake it abebe!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mi-mister Miyagi?! Wha-what are you doing?!
ahhh the giggly room , by far the happyest place in earth .
Don't ask me why but Al putting on those sunglasses at 3:42-3:46 just before Marcy steps out onto the stage is a perfect combo of awesomeness and hilarity.
I also like his line, "We do, just like every woman has hers."
😂
I occasionally still imitate the way he put them to this day with my own eyeglasses.
😁
3:45 / 3:46
😎
I'm surprised Al was willing to see Marcy in rather risque attire.
Hence, why he put on the sunglasses.
So that he can have some obscurity to not see everything I guess.
😆
I love that sign
RIP Pat we love you!!!
I just relived part of my early teens ,lol
Perfect day for Al Bundy, he is at the Jiggly room, gets $20,000 for his worthless car, humiliates Marcy and engages in a bar room brawl.
1:51 The club owner later was the principal on Glee.
There aren't many people who are equally fans of MWC and Glee, but I'm one of them.
Still funny, all these years later.
I’m so excited 😆
