Al and Peg are together the most remembered couple in television because unlike other couples who cheated and hurt each other physically and psychologically only to beg for forgiveness later, they didn't cause each other harm. They only said what was in their mind. This sitcom was a success because it was brutally honest!.
How they don't break character in some of these scenes always amazed me. They sound silly most of the time, but their level of skill and professionalism is over the top. :P
This show is/was an all-time classic. There will never be another like it....not in this candy-assed country that the US has turned out to be. There was one Sunday evening back in the late 80s when a buddy of mine and I went to a local pub for a few beers. MWC was on the pub's big screen. The entire place was silent and watching the show. That's validation!
@@dncarac The genius who insisted it must be Ed O'Neil to play Al is a legend! To pick an actor who isn't a comedian to play a comedy role & be the star in what has become the best sitcom in TV history is amazing!
This show was so great. The funny part is that there are folks who loved this show that claim it is offensive today. Good thing I have a great memory and call those folks out
I should've believed all Al's existential teachings and never got married. Everything he says is true about being married. Now I'm divorced and paying through the nose.
Married with Children was politically incorrect but in the best way. It was just funny and honest. Al would get his little high from making jokes about Peg and making fun of fat women who came into the store but that's all he had and it helped him get through the day supporting a family of 4 on a Shoe Salesmen's salary. He was loyal to his wife at the end of the day and loved his kids even though he was the only one working to support all of their bad ideas and shenanigans. And he put up with their insults on him about his job even though he was supporting all of the them. He was a mans man.
'Keep Him Down, Keep Him Down, Keep Him Down - a woman's guide to happiness'
😃 This show is hysterical
Accurate too.
Ahead of itz time
I wonder if I ever could get a copy of that book. If it ain't written yet, someone should!
Or the book " The man is Always right." In chapter 3 titled "My god is she still here?"
This show is such a television history treasure !
Katey Sagal was the perfect actress to play Peggy Bundy.
Glad to see she’s still going strong today at 68.
Truth be told I dont even think this is the best roll shes ever had. Lets not forget captain turanga leela.
Right
She's the best, one of a kind in it's own right!
The delivery of the part where she was pregnant was something else
Captain Turanga
Say what you like but at least Peggy and Al were always loyal to each other! 😃
I love how everyone gets eye candy in this show!
Let's rock xD

Exactly. I loved that they never cheated. No matter how hot or successful the person was they were loyal and stayed a family.

In 2022, "Married With Children" has proven itself to be the greatest sitcom ever.
I’ve always considered it a parody of a sitcom. Sitcoms were ridiculous to the point that you had to make fun of them.
@@ooyginyardel4835 it is not a parody
@@ooyginyardel4835 It's a parody of "The Cosby Show", not all sitcoms.
It has proven that years ago. You just wanted to hop in this stupid "commentary mentioning year" trend.

Peggy was very very funny. Her and AL was hilarious together

Right! Like, this was taped in front of a live audience and they never broken their characters. Thats talent fr lol
I love the crowd. The world needs this sitcom. Al Bundy for the president in 2024

They may despise eachother. But Al and Peggy were made for eachother
this man was born to play this role with out Ed O'Neil there would have never been a show
Ed had never played comedy before this role. Eerie
The whole cast was pretty brilliant in my opinion.
@@fakshen1973 I agree. It was an ensemble show.

I like Peggy best. She's always got a great smile & so funny. She tends to beat Al at most times.
They really do love eachother and its so sweet.
Funny how we don't really miss things until they're gone!
Thanks to Pluto I’m watching Married With Children again!!❤❤❤❤
Al was a true role model
Al is my hero
Al Buddy was the hero every working man needed
So True 👍🏴🇬🇧👍
Sure is the working man's hero!
This is one of me & my husband best shows use to love to watch. Get our snacks and be up all night this all night
It's on Hulu and still watch. It's amazing and great memories. 👍🏼
All fainted with a smile on his face lol.
If a girl did that to me in a department store I'd faint with a smile too
I've said it before Katey Sagal is amazing. What would Al be without her? lol
Scoring touchdowns for a pro team
This was great back in the day love watching Al and bud 🎉🎉🎉🎉 was awesome
I love the fact that Vanna white did this episode,,,it tells me that she has a morbid sense of humor,,,I love that in a woman,,,
…..I thought it was her, but I didn’t know if her other show would let her do it
That was cool.of her to agree!
Beautiful episode, Al very funny and the girl well just gorgeous
LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!
Amanda Bearse did a good job playing Marcie, IMO
What a controversial tought
Chicken lady...
Amanda bearse ruined the show when she "came out the closet" and changed the marcy character.
Realistic character on the show
@MR X I like feminist Marci, she makes a great antagonist for Al
Al, Did you miss me? With every shot so far.
Love that line! 😂😂😂
Yessss!!!! Keep making these videos longer.
I need the Bundys in the background.
Best show ever!
"Oh, Al...isn't it a dream?"
"It better be".
Well, how's that for foreshadowing?!
i love Peggy she so funny on the show and she great on the conners
Roseanne shouldn't have ever been fired by stupid cancel culture misunderstanding her joke xP

Peggy is the best! 😍🥰
👍🤣😅😂👏. Always Loved it when Al would say in his Very Sarcastic Tone, ‘.. I love you....POKEY...’!

Aww man they stopped at the best part. Pegg made the shot right after, on accident.

My uncle made the same mistake. Never get divorced in North Carolina. Men lose it all in that state.

Never understood this episode when they were pregnant but no kids on the next season
The actress was actually expecting, but she miscarried. The writers & producers who claim that the pregnancy episodes was Al's dreams.
It was a dark part of the series. Imagine both of them being pregnant and then only one having their child in the end 😢

Penny : what's the difrent?
Leonard to penny : 🤦 hear we go.
Too bad they didn't let me rewrite this story... because he would have told him, that he's looking at 18 years of child support and misery

Peggy Bundy For First lady
Yes eye really really agree with that 👍

God this was such a great show 😂😂 they could never stand to air something like this on tv today. People are too sensitive, they would cry.

Yep
No offense to Vanna White, but I would have preferred Katey Sagal by a tremendous span.
Midge Pinciotti would've made a great crossover
I love how they just dropped the whole pregnancy thing, and just moved on with the show. Lol
