Thanks for sharing these techniques.
I was stuck. I'm doing a comic book and it's called "Bird Brains" it's a comedy of errors, like "The Beverly Hillbillies" or "The Gods Must Be Crazy." or "3's Company". The story is all written, and it's complete, but I needed better artwork. I just slam dunked real crude stick figure birds just to get it done. Now I've got a handle on getting acceptable artwork, and I can move ahead and complete the project, thanks to you.

The birds near my house are fairly tame and plentiful, you can get into a metre's range without them flying off but they don't stay still for very long, how can I draw when my subject flies off whenever I get into a minute or two of drawing it? Please consider answering my question, thank you.
