In several places in the instructions it talks about turning it off (O). Why is there NOT an (O) button to turn it off??? I just bought one today 12-23-22.

If this is the same food processor….around the dial is 3 2 1 O P. That O is what is off. Hope his helps

I was thinking of my larger food processor. Sorry. This one does not have an off button. You hold down the button on this one. When you release it is off, not sure of the instructions you have with it. Contact Hamilton beach.
