EP2 Overlanding in Japan - SUPER Forest Road - FJ Cruiser

Experience serenity in Japan's mountains with this FJ Cruiser overlanding adventure scenic drive.
Welcome to the second part of my solo 5-day Japan overland trip from Tokyo to Shikoku, in a modified FJ Cruiser 4x4 with rooftop tent!
This is day 3, where I go and explore the main goal of this trip: the Mount Tsurugi Super Rindo Forest Road. It's Japan's longest public mountain 4x4 trail, a vast network that's 87.7 km of rugged mountain passes and forest roads, some parts paved and some parts off-road. It is also known as the Super Forest Road, or simply: Super Rindo. In Japanese it's 剣山スーパー林道.
Here's what you can expect:
Wake up beside a peaceful river in Tokushima and savor a breakfast with breathtaking scenery as your companion. ☕️
Take the wheel of the FJ Cruiser and conquer the rarely-explored Mt. Tsurugi Super Forest Road - Japan's longest mountain route! Witness a mesmerizing display of autumn foliage as sunlight paints the landscape in vibrant hues.
Escape the ordinary with calming visuals and a beautiful soundtrack. I made this a slow-paced video, inspired by the channel ‪@go4x4media‬. I hope it allows you to unwind and soak in the tranquility of Shikoku.
As twilight descends, navigate winding mountain roads in search of your campsite. Find your haven nestled high in the mountains, bathed in the bright glow of the moon.
End the day setting up camp in your trusty FJ Cruiser, complete with its rooftop tent and swing-out awning.
