Loveland is a GEM! I LOVE Loveland. Go there on a pow day to enjoy no lines and endless pow. The bowls are endless and don’t get skied out until 2, easily!
I got back into skiing this year after MANY moons away. I picked Loveland, for lots of reasons, and purchased a season pass. I could not have made a better choice. I will be there again this coming weekend. Good review!
Me and my family go to Loveland twice a year and we love it! The lines are short and sometimes there are even no lines! It’s super family friendly and not crowded. They have a great ski school that works very well. The trails are very fun and there a paths for all sorts of terrain. And you can’t not talk about the tree trails! They are awesome!! I’ve been on every lift and half stop and almost every trail and they are very fun. If you are at least an intermediate skier/snowboarder I would recommend going up lift 8 and doing tree trails there. It is so fun! I would give Loveland 5 stars FOR SURE!
I learned everything I know at loveland. I miss it and I'm very excited to hopefully go back soon. In the loveland Valley, there's a little "secret" route called the rainbow road and I haven't been there cause we don't go to the valley anymore.
Just left Loveland this week it was awesome. We did have to end the first day early though because of the height of the slope as we are out of staters and got sick.
Got a pair of left over 4pack tickets on the cheap last week and checked out Loveland first time in 20+ years. Forgot how great this area is. Even tried free snowcat (Ridge Cat?) skiing for the first time and it’s lot of fun
Hey man, videos look great (found your off-road Honda Ridgeline vid and have watched a few more lol) but I would suggest looking into a DJI pocket two. I love mine and have been thinking about doing some vlogs with it. The stability control on it for me is the best I’ve experienced and it records in 4K.
Thanks you! That DJI is definitely a purchase I might make in the future. Up to this point I've been filming on my Samsung Galaxy S9+. I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It has way better stabilization and camera in general.. I'll be filming with it for a while, but the pocket might be one of the next tools I buy. I do have a DJI spark drone... Love that thing.
Shit man you can hike up from chet's dream and ride down loveland pass not to metion the uphill skiing! The place has the best vibe and it has good blower pow stash's if you know the terrain. Shred safe!
So the chairlifts take you up above the treeline to where it looks like it's all off piste?? So you pick your line down? Do you hook up with a groomie at some point on the way down from up there?
There are several mid-mountain lifts, so you can stay up in the "off-piste" looking area as long as you want. When you're ready to head to the base of the mountain you'll meet up with a groomed trail to take you down.
@@EveryotherKarl Thanks! Looks like a nice step up from the midwest, but not the long lift lines or crowds you see at Vail. One think i noticed about Vail from watching a video of someone skiing all over it, is that you have to spend about 50% of your time on flat skinny trails, getting back to the lifts. Is that how it really is, or was that just where he was choosing to ski? I think if you ski the groomies on the front side, you probably wouldn't have that issue.. but anything on the back side seemed like this was the norm.
You're right Loveland isn't renting clothing this season. One sure place that is renting is here: www.mountainthreads.com/ I think there may be some other local shops, but I'm not sure.

This video is fucking fantastic. So damn simple, but so damn effective at showcasing a resort that doesn’t get much love…pun intended
That was a very good straight forward video. Looking to fly into Denver next winter for a week, trying to figure out a game plan still though
Hope it turns out great for you.
Thank you for the info. Going there next year!

I’ve been on it and for it being in the valley and being meant for beginners it’s actually pretty decent 👌
@@stickminwillofficial36 its great :)

Oh man, that's rough. Yeah, I generally like to ski a few days after landing just to get acclimated.

ive been to that exact place it was so much fun
Sick dude
SKIIED IT 4 2 DAYS!FIRST TIME I SNOW SKIIED!
Thank you so much for your video, man!
the **best** thing about Loveland is the lack of tourists and the length of the season
@Surf Skate Ride or Die Films of America Agreed. It does get amazing snow and that snow sticks around if you know where to find it.
Fair and reasonable assessment. Winds can really pick up there.

Nothing like OTR on a powder day!
good one! did you know where could I rent the sport clothes and shoes? I think they’re not renting them due the covid right?
You might be right. I think this place rents them though. www.mountainthreads.com/

There is always at least one groomed run off all the lifts.
The Echo mountain is the closest Ski area to Denver 🙂
Dang! You're right...
You shouldn't compare it to vail you compare it to A basin.
What did you use to record the video??
I used my Samsung Galaxy S-21 Ultra for the whole thing.
Loveland isn't the closest ski area to Denver. Sorry to disappoint you.
Ugh, I realized this after posting the video.
Don't tell people about it!
That's right. Shhhhh!!!!
I just got here and they are closed 😡
Bummer. Hope you get the chance sometime
Might be useful to check their website, skiloveland.com. Lots of good info, updated daily during the season.
I give this review a F minus
