  • This is just a bit of amusement to pass the time on a cold, wet, windy and thoroughly miserable morning........

Man of many talents: check that the yellow colour might be from powdered Saffron.

Yep. Like you mentioned earlier "Gordon Ramsay - fuck off". There is a grumpy gardener around, no more chefs needed. Made my day! Maybe, if Thomas will be in need for an apprentice at EHG he should call him.....the benchmark is pretty high.

oooh that looks lovely!! Thanks Malcolm! I do like to see a fella who knows his way around the kitchen! I love curries but my hubs doesn't so it's a shame I don't get to make them more often. I was cooking yesterday though, we got a ham hock from the local butchers and the bone went into the stock pot for a couple of hours, then added in some lentils, pearl barley and some veggies, eaten with the Colonial import of fresh baked corn bread, to go with it! Delish!! 😁👍. Love to you all from t'other side of the Pennines! ❤

Looks lovely Malcolm. It seemed like too many onions but then when you blitzed the sauce it made sense. I must admit it's years since I made a curry using the proper dried spices, I tend to go for the jars of ready prepped spices but you made it look very straightforward, I may have to invest in some fresh ones. Sorry to hear you have noisy neighbours, you assume in the countryside it will be peaceful most of the time. Hopefully its not going to be a constant problem. Work has to be done after all. I'm really enjoying seeing Sunniside come together.

That looks good! My non gardening husband who does lots of cooking watched with me and was laughing a lot along with me of course, at your comments (especially the vomit) and we will try this soon! 😋 A lovely bonus surprise, wasn’t expecting to hear from you, thank you! You cook the way you garden, so easy to learn. 💚🌱

Hi Malcolm, great video, my wife loves Chicken Korma, so I must try this recipe. As usual I learnt something, the floppy spatula, I wondered what they were for, hence I have never used ours

You are very wise to be cautious about salmonella and chicken, Malcolm. It's a seriously nasty illness. I'm pescatarian but the korma looks delicious!

I think you're probably a damned good cook Malcolm, but I wouldn't hold your breath on a Food Network hosting invitation. Mr. Floppy ruined your chance at stardom, naughty Mr. Floppy. So nice to see you enjoying yourself, stay well.
