- @pondgames3484 's PipSqueak! demo was a perfect example of a metroidvania that hits every part perfectly. The design, audio, music, gameplay, mechanics, and characters all come together for one of the best games I have played this year. You can back it on Kickstarter right now! EDIT: 100% funded!

They need to do something wigh the way he jumps abd lands on a creature. Not just a regular swing with his sword coming down. They need to have him thrust downward.
When you play it works really well to just slightly bounce. It works because you are so close to the whole scene in the game. I think if the game was more zoomed out the method you mentioned would work better
Yes, I see what you're saying. If it feels good that's all that matters.. It's a strange world this mouse is in, are there going to be enemies? Seems to be mainly platforming, well.this is probably more of a tech demo...Just showing what they're going to do.. I was wondering what the boss was? Like a barrel.crab lol..
I love the little details of movement and when you hit stuff with the sword. The world is alive and I like the fact the bats chase you usually that doesn't happen..
@@packpock4369 They mentioned that you acquire "20 combat enhancing" items through out the game so I imagine more enemies and with more difficulty. The bats are so annoying haha Yea, if the barrel/crab boss is just the tease I cant wait to see what the other worlds have to offer!
@@packpock4369 Yea, i was surprised by that too. They chase you and pretty far! Honestly just want more of the game, but for now the demo is perfect to kinda of speed run through. If you can check out the kickstarter and back it!

@@GoodGameLobby I had been planning to, but I guess I just forget xd. When I saw your replay and I went to try it, it's pretty good. Needs some tweaking in the level design, but graphics and controls are perfect.
Also idk how they made the game so small, I was expecting it to be over 100 MB, but It think it was not even 30.
@@JAMPLEYDEV yea it’s just a demo and release is about 2 years out so I think they will have many updates. I just hope they give us more demos or beta testing over the 2 years haha
@@JAMPLEYDEV agreed! I think it has to do with the pixel artwork being a bit chunky. So less colors/shading overall
Same with Animal Well I was astonishined when it was 33mbs 👀
