And yeah, I don't think anyone needs to worry about microtransactions outside of cosmetics only, in MH. This is Ryozo's baby since the very beginning and he definitely has a lot more power and say than most other Capcom devs. I mean Ryozo is the son of Capcom's CEO, Kenzo Tsujimoto. With that, comes a little bit more respect. So as long as Ryozo is still leading MH, I'm not worried.
I think hot/cold drinks are going to stay, because if they were taken out, then it would force players to HAVE to choose the specific ingredient that gives the hot/cold buff. That strips away a lot of freedom of choice, if the only alternative to not picking the hot/cold buff ingredient, is literally having to suffer for the entire hunt. And that's assuming the player even has the ingredients on hand to begin with. So if food buffs can provide the same effects as drinks, then cool, but drinks should also be there just in case you don't want to eat for it. It would provide nice options for players that dont mind drinking a hot/cold drink every 10 minutes and having a bit more options in food buff choice. But also an avenue for players that just want to eat the hot/cold buff and go through the quest without management.

Skins are skins they don’t effect anything about the game and the stupid people are the ones kicking for owning a dlc skin, that’s their problem not Capcom. You can’t blame Capcom for that just like I don’t blame YT for some comments that appear.
