The Casting of new bells for Ugborough Church at Taylors Bell Foundry, Loughborough. 5th April 2018

This short video shows the process of pouring the molten bell metal from the furnace into the ladle which is then moved by the Morris overhead crane to be poured into the bell moulds. The excess molten bell metal is then poured into trenches dug into the sand to be reclaimed for later use.
