I cannot no longer remap my controller buttons to be equal to keyboard keys? Any ideas what to do ? like I had x button set up to LSHIFT but suddenly it is not working
i have problm with dual binfing for some reason i jump with circle and i do my normal bind at the same time but my ingame settings are not dual binden in any way, i can still jump normaly with x tho
So, I wanted to use my left stick as my WASD for MC Java Edition, as it doesn't support it natively. But when I set the binds to it, it literally acts as WASD, where any light input makes it either 0% or 100% I want it to be an analog input like it is in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, or the Legacy console editions.

@ yes, as you know ps4 controllers you can swipe with 2 fingers y the center panel, but particularly I have a Nintendo switch pro controller, and I would like to know how to switch profiles on it
this didn't help me but I did figure out how to do it on my own so here are a few tips 1. when you connect a controller you need to set it to the profile you created 2. if you assigned a profile to a program in auto-profiles and then edited that profile, you will need to save the newly edited profile to the program again 3. I used a switch controller, in the setup I had to check the box allowing it to be used I am not sure where that is after setup but you probably need to find it to use certain controllers 4. Since I was playing a game with xbox controller support, I used the default preset to xbox.
Anyone know how to simulate something for camera control. For example, I want the right stick (right) to mimic right-click move mouse right, right stick (left) to mimic right-click move mouse left, etc. Any tips?
I'm having an issue with significant frame rate drop/stuttering when I use the ps5 controller on fortnite. the controller is connected and all but the second I hit a button or move the analog stick the fps plummets. Using mouse and keyboard doesn't produce this problem. Any help?
We’re you trying to map your mouse to your joystick? This is a problem when you have double inputs. I had it myself and I worked very hard to get rid of it. It’s to do with your settings “disable virtual controller” etc. it’s very confusing. But I fixed mine.

When you plug in the controller. Your computer wants to use the speaker on it. Just go to your system audio settings and set it back to your normal audio device (Probably your headset speakers)

Just to double check, I won't be able to have my Touchpad work as a touchpad in games? I'm playing on the PlayStation Plus app and I can't use the touchpad to pull up my minimap. I'm also using Bluetooth to use my controller.
You can bind the touchpad to work as a touchpad, and the buttons on either side when you press one half can be rebound to any button. Now will a game without dedicated support work correctly with the touchpad? Sometimes.

@@PIP...33 I agree friend, glad U called me to see tutorial and for video link. It is what we have discuss many times. Real problem is inside PC windows and HID drivers. They are auto-installed if u connect any device and they override anything that's why games like Creed BlackFlag sees xbox controller if we uses PS2 old or any USB like PS2 joypad that we played with. Remember even Xpadder or x360ce cant override some of xbox mento to be PC games that forcing xbox buttons and joypad , over PC emulation of Xpadder. As U said real problem is not drivers or emulator it is HID remapping that no one ever has fixed or found in REGEDIT.
@@yldry.028 no, I started to use a steam overlay. I set up the desktop mode. Desktop mode switch between kB+m and gamepad overlays. I bind switch between them on long press select button. And I'm always in this mode. In Games and on desktop. I Don't bind the every game. this is a universal overlay.
Steam changed there layout and i can no longer remao my buttons fir my ps4 controller..i used to have my L2, L1 and R2 and R1 flipped. Can you or anyone help me find where i remap my buttons back to how i had them before steam changed there layout?

@@vennare5755 generally the way that I can tell my controller is working when I'm messing around with it. Is because it pops up in my steam as an Xbox controller. Alternatively you can just play around with it and some other games that aren't multiplayer and see how it responds. If it's pretty snappy and does pretty well then I'd say it's working fine. There are a couple things that you can do to speed the controller up. Inside of the settings profile for the key bindings. There is a tab that allows you to fine-tune some extras, The furthest one on the right, you can disable DS4 getting diagnostic data from the controller, and if you're using it wirelessly you can increase the pole rate to 1 ms. Beyond that there's not really a lot you can do to make it perform extra fast. Besides maybe plugging it in while you play.

What settings were you expecting him to provide? The game settings would all be different depending on the game, as well as the player's preference, among other things.
Not helpful at all, when the god damn program refuses to operate as intended or detect the controller to begin with!! How about instead of trying to sound smart you start there. Because until you figure out how to explain to people why it's not being detected this tutorial is f****** useless!!

Put it on Xbox controller lagging when u playing Fortnite and put it on DualShock 4 my paddles doesn’t work on Fortnite

If you already have an Xbox controller, you don't need to use DS4 Windows. It should work natively on Windows
