- I thought I would do another POV driving video with the GT350 except for this time it's a night drive. I think next time I'll run an external mic over by the exhaust. Thanks for watching!

Funny after I actually sold my 2015 Scion FRS I went to the v8 route as well and picked up a 04 Lexus GS430 2nd generation through its a sedan and not as sharp handling as the 86/BRZ Twins the smiles per gallon I honestly get from the V8’s really offsets it and lower insurance costs as well.

I actually never looked into this but is the GT350 only for North America? I feel like this is the type of car the rest of the world would love and order. Not sure why they wouldn't sell them across the world.
Exoticars19 yea it was only for North America which sucks.... Never liked mustangs before until the 350 and then found out we can't have them anyway...
I wouldn't say I disliked Mustangs before, but they just weren't for me. This is the first modern Mustang I actually really wanted.

The GT350 is available in Europe, some dealers are even willing to import GT350R's for customers. Hella expensive though.

Heey Exoticars19 I just wrote you from my girlfriend's channel just to say something about the shift LIGHT that I noticed since you start to make videos about the Shelby GT350 & GT350-R you still not comment about it so I really don't know if you know this or not but anyway just to give a feedback about it. The GT350 & GT350-R both tell you when to shift, every time you go around 6,000 RPM an orange light pop up right in the from of you in the crystal and progresin with your actual acceleration this orange light start to get together or fill up the line it's making, after this line fill up fully will blink and there is your signal for the next shift. Also you can modify the exactly RPM that you want to get, for example you just want to get 6,500 RPM, so this light will pop up and will blink at 6,500 RPM or any value you set up, at the same setting of this shift light you can set up the intensity of the color so you can see it during the day and not only when is dark. Keep doing videos I learn lot of things about dayly things that other videos do not show up. Also I would like if is posible to make a short video about the audio from the radio how's songs like of the interior that I'm sure lot of people will appreciate. Thanks for you videos.

The one thing I regret is whenever I buy a car with nice exhaust I am never able to hear it from the outside as I'm always inside driving it. Same thing will happen if I get the gt350....can't ever be happy. Interior sounds is just not the same. Thanks for the video.

Does it handle like a c7 vette?
Both handel extremely well, but feel very differently when cornering. I would say the Corvette feels more precise & snappy. Probably because it's much lighter & lower. Not to say the GT350 isn't good in the corners, it also feels great & confident. Just in a different way.

That rev matching as you slow down through the gears is annoying as heck! I only rev match if I need the lower gear to accelerate, otherwise when I slow down or stop, it is 6th to neutral, then to 1st or 2nd as I accelerate again. But I guess it is one excuse to hear the exhaust note!

I like to downshift down to 2nd for a couple reasons. Some engine braking as well as always having control to accelerate, and it makes for good heel toe practice. Oh and because the noise. Can't forget about the noise. But mainly because it was for this video.
Yeah, it was really annoying that he had the exhaust valves open, too. I think I speak for everyone when I say that the subscribers would have much preferred the sound of 10 minutes of sixth gear freeway driving at 1800 rpm with occasional clutching in to neutral.
Annoying as heck? That's very much a part of the aural symphony this machine makes. The rev matching sounds amazing. Keep it up.
Oh, I would love to experience it in person and do a rev match on a downshift or two, but I guess I'm old. I pick my gear and go into just it, not several downshifts. That's all I was saying. Haven't had a chance to drive a GT350 yet, but I'm sure I will enjoy it in the driver's seat. Next time CarMax by me gets one in, I'll see!
Thomas Bailey Proper manual driving is rev matching since it’s easier on the drive train and clutch. It is always good to be in a gear you can accelerate in case of a situation and not lug the motor which puts stress on it. Yes, coming to a stop light from 3rd to N is okay. Rev matching also saves some fuel over than just downshifting with lots of engine braking. 6th gear should only be used for highway driving anyways.
Those downshifts oh my god this car sounds mean I would KILL to have one in my garage!!! Ugh
