    16:40 In case anybody was curious about what gaming company JRP was trying to think of, it was EA, specifically EA Tiburon, which is headquartered in Orlando. The EA Tiburon branch develops the sports games (Madden, NBA Live, PGA, NCAA, etc.)

    Someone needs to tell JRP if he’s serious about nfl as he says, he needs to give up baseball and move to wr. These young people need a reality check. He’s nowhere near an nfl qb.

    We have a 73 million dollar football facility but still have no performance hall for our performing arts department smh it’s sad how underfunded literally everything else is other than sports at UCF

    • @ucf.island
      @ucf.island Год назад

      That athletic money pays for the university about half the time. So when the Big 12 money kicks in, the university will get more money and notoriety. For these performing arts and other things, athletics often pays for all those luxuries. It often somehow boosts universities' academic profiles too, because do we really think the University of Alabama or the University of West Virginia are academically that much more prestigious than us? Probably not. We started moving up the US News academic ranking the second we started winning football games in 2017. We jumped from ranking 200+ in 2016 to 137th academic ranking in 2022.
      For an example. Look at the top athletic universities and how much money they pull in for their universities. It often boosted their universities, which is why many universities that want to expand understand the importance of having good athletic programs. And guess what sport pulls the most money into universities FOOTBALL, followed by basketball? Universities know this, and that’s why many want to always have a good program and move up to the higher levels. Kennesaw State, the second-largest university in Georgia, now understands this. They've now moved up to FBS D1 football and are heavily invested in athletics, knowing it can boost their universities' notoriety and get them more money.
