You have an honest aura about you unlike so many other trading videos where arrogant people talk bs. Thank you for your common sense straight talking explanation, I look forward to seeing your other vids.
Good discussion, Arthur. It's good to take a break from coding every now and then, and to talk about these topics. I really appreciate your coding and non-coding tutorials. Thank you.
This one video shares more knowledge than all other I've seen on RUclips combined. He explains it in a very good way for you to understand..my new go to page when I have a question. Lol Thanks, great video.
I appreciated this video. The simple visuals really helped. I don't code or use meta trader. But as a beginner I really was having a harder time understanding the spread situation when going in on a trade. The way you explained it made it finally click. Thanks.
I'm a huge beginner and was wondering why I always started demo trades in the negative and i noticed there was an automatic 20 pip spread on eur/usd set, I was looking everywhere for an explanation and thank you for finally clearing this up for me. You rock mate!
Very good question he asked. Do you think the broker is going to give up on profits they make from spreads just to charge you commission? Thank you so much sir.
Great video! Really one of the best explanations of spread I could find on RUclips but I did want to clarify something. Every time we buy or sell we will automatically be losing, correct?
I wouldn't call it automatic but yes, you are already losing as soon as you place the trade. If you have a commission account then you may have zero spread and in that case you are even, except that you have paid some commission so even then you are losing.
@@OrchardForex Thank you so much for responding. It is a question I have been having for a long time and it was not until now that I decided to ask so I really appreciate that you could help me with that.
I’m struggling to understand this statement “Our average EUR/USD spread is 0.1 pips, with only a small commission of $3.50 per lot payable per side.” When they say 0.1 pip are they referring to 1 pipette? Because some currencies are quoted at the 4th or 2nd decimal place
Does the commission actually increase the spread or is commission deducted from your capital? Might be a silly question but where is the commission taken from?
Hi, this video is very much informative and helpful. Can you also please make a video about how the broker can cheat us and how we can reduce the risk?
Wouldn’t a commissions based account be more beneficial since the spread calculated into the stoploss would make it more likely for you to get stopped out- versus if someone has a commissioned based account, you probably won’t get stopped out
I wouldn't agree about probably won't get stopped out. We are talking about just a few extra points so the chance of the price moving a little further are good. But with a standard account you can just move the stop loss a little further away, as much as you would be losing anyway with commission.
Investing successfully in forex require the expertise of a professional broker that is why I have made profit since I started trading with Mr Mathew is the best.
All brokers will charge commission and/or spread. That's their business. Most are reputable and regulated. You will just have to review the regulation, spreads and other available information before making your choice. I don't have any specific recommendation but if you feel like helping our channel try our broker with this link www.icmarkets.com/au/en/forex-trading-platform-metatrader?camp=51463 we get commission from your trading but it doesn't cost you any more.

Welcome!
Finally found a video explaining this well. No one seems to talk about this much and is why alot of new traders fail at Forex IMO. Great video sir

Aaah, so round trip means one trade, because in order to enter you must buy and to exit that buy you must sell it back? Is that right?
I am enjoying this comprehensive video. Excellent work! Just 1 question, how to you do the math around the 22% at 10:09 ?
just (11/9)-1. Probably should have said a win is 22% harder rather than loss 22% easier.
Really good :) thank you
Glad you liked it!

It is 3.50 PER LOT so ita a spread of 1 pip
The 3.50 will be multiply per lot you have
@@Saint_Medusa So if I use a Standard lot then it would be $70 total since it’s per side, and I have to pay the 0.1 spread as well?
Excelent

0.50SEC. Did you say spreaadcan widen when there is low volitility?
Hi, this video is very much informative and helpful. Can you also please make a video about how the broker can cheat us and how we can reduce the risk?
Brokers have better things to do with their time than to cheat you. They profit every time you trade without any effort at all.

How i can Calculate by hand 7/lot ex if i want to open 0.50 how mach it will be
Don't waste time manually calculating. Use a free online calculator. There are plenty to choose from. MyFXBook has one.
Thanx
Welcome
So the more you lose the more the spread gets wide?
No. The spread is the difference between bid and ask. The more the spread widens the more you are losing as soon as you place the trade
@@OrchardForex oooooooooh so the more you lose the more the more it starts spreading wider
