- (I released this nostalgic recipe video also on my Englishman Foodie channel ).Step back in time with me as I recreate a traditional Maltese dish from the 1970s using freshly caught swordfish. This nostalgic recipe, inspired by my first visit to Malta decades ago, is packed with the vibrant and simple flavors that defined Mediterranean dining back then. Paired with crispy chips, this dish is a true tribute to the authentic tastes and traditions of Malta’s golden era. Relive the essence of the past, and experience the food that made me fall in love with this island's culinary charm!

yummmm. I like the joke. Will repeat it haha
Hey old friend. It has been a while. Wow that swordfish must be so fresh.
hello not hear from you long time how you doing ??
In the 1980s there was a great little fish restaurant called Gullivers in St. Julians. Swordfish or Lampuki was a joy there.
Sounds great but I never heard of it
Very similar to one of the ways we cook pesce spada in sicily. We use to cut swordfish in thinner slices and ususlly don't use sauces but tomatoes😊😊
Sounds great! might try it !!
Hey Steve, for next time always have a loaf of bread by the side, you need to wipe the sauce off the plate to finish 😁. It is the signature trademark fot every Maltese plate.
so true !!
Steve are you doing Xmas lights videos soon, they are great. Cheers.
no sorry nothing this year
VERY TASTY MEAL 🐟🍟 🥗 😋
Steve, if it wasn't for the high mercury content in Swordfish, I would be eating that every week when in season.
Careful "Englishman", "Englishman Foodie" might sue you for copy right 😂.
Proset Steve 🍽️ 🎥.
Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ❤️ 🇪🇺
Glad you enjoyed it
