I have a piece of bamboo 6ft long I split down about 3 to 4 inches on one end. Slid 2 sticks in the splits in a cross paterin and wrapped it with string to hold the 4 bamboo prongs apart. Then I sharpened the 4 prongs. That's my walking stick in the mountains invade I run into a rattler. You can swat the snake away, of stab it with the 4 pronged end of u have to.
The butterfly place was amazing 💕 I'm more a moth lady and have saved and raised a lot ❤ And that reptile centre is my idea of paradise. Absolutely love you guys Xx

Excellent send of the V10, Trent! I'm a semi-retired climber, but I still relate to the sport. I'm hoping to get on the road in a year or so, and I will definitely be bringing my climbing gear.
Don't sweat the snakes--it was good you two visited the nature center. Rattlers in the USA are one of the most dangerous venomous snakes, and yet you guys spent tons of time in the outdoors, if you get my drift...
I love snakes! I used to own a ball python and my mom used to breed snakes when I was younger. So I'm no stranger to them and definitely try to respect their space out in the wild.. I would be wary of letting Frank run free more than worried about the snake trying to get yall. Love all your videos! Excited to see where you take us next week!

I had that exact species of rainbow boa! That is the Colombian variety and is the most docile. Extremely beautiful and not toxic.

You are now in Utah so no snakes but they usually avoid people unless cornered. So carrying a walking stick/branch and tapping on the ground will keep them away. They sense vibrations and walking boots also make enough vibrations to keep them away.
Wow Trent! That climb was so cool! I just started making sourdough after watching you guys. I made a gf multigrain loaf yesterday. It was my first one. It's really good but not gonna lie, the sourness was a tad stronger than I expected. It's been loads of fun! I've also made pancakes with the 'discard'. Really enjoyed this video!

Just googled snake bites in Panama and you are right to be cautious as they have the highest incidents of snake bites in America. Stay safe....and enjoy that puppy.

Story: was climbing w/ a friend in mts of MD on a beautiful sunny day...my friend went up & as he was just ready to go onto the top...are you ready?? face to face w/ copperhead, yes...since laying in sun was docile but ben raced down & was shaking. We were miles from any hospital & no cell phones yet...please watch frank!!! but leo keeps them away!! drone shot amazing, all the lush green & mountains!!! Allie meatballs sembra buono...blessings on more adventures...safety first

Swedish meatballs are in a brown or grape jelly sauce and usually bitesize. Meatballs like Allie made are regular meatballs, tender larger fork friendly and in a tomato sauce. Then there are stuffed meatballs, I stuff mine with a chunk of Mozzarella and bake for 20 mins then put in my sauce til everything is done (about 25 mins). Oh and any good Swedish meatballs are made with a slice of milk soaked bread broken up, with parsley, browned and put in a jar of melted grape jelly until tender then add brown gravy if pouring over noodles.
My mom used to make porcupine meatballs. Meatballs stuffed with rice. Sooooooo good!😁

Just read this morning about a guy in Mexico who catches unwanted snakes that get into people's houses or properties. He's caught 40,000 in his life and there are guys like him throughout Central and South America. Happy trails.

I’m amazed that you brought that beast of an espresso machine with you! I’m also in a Promaster van but maybe I need to make better use of the space. I gave up my espresso machine when I left Seattle and into the van. Great vid as always and dang that puppy looks good.
Thinking of getting a Promaster. I never looked back since I discovered cold brewing - so simple and good.
I have made our dogs food before too, my biggest challenge was calcium. I don't know if you all have access to sardines or canned salmon, but both of those are quick ways to add fat and calcium to Franks diet. The boulder climb! Dude!
Good idea, we started feeding our dogs raw and use raw chicken necks for calcium

Most bread recipes call for you to butter the bowl it rises in. This allows the dough to go up the sides easily! You might get more rise that way!

That looks exactly like the butterfly conservatory on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls going to the floral clock. The butterflies were beautiful.
Wow the game sounds awesome. The butterflies are incredible. So very cool. I had a pet Boa and to my surprise found that snakes dont have to be poisonous but they can almost all or all bite. I'm done that for a long time where I mix chocolate with coffee I also mix tea with coffee that has a good accent to it. I know how much they like pastries there! In your bread try adding like pico salsa I want to try it.

I just finished feeding my dog his homemade food so I loved that you're doing that for Frank :):), its way better then dry borring kibble! My dog is crazy about beans too, so I pack em in. His favorites are chickpeas (rinse very well to prevent tummy ache) and cannellini beans. The best part is the cannellini beans mashed up are the perfect glue to hold the food mixture together. To help his tummy we keep spinach in the freezer and toss it in and we have had amazing results with it, kibble just doesn't have enough fiber for my pup.
Enjoy getting into the bread making more it's so much fun. You guys should try pizza dough soon it's one of the easiest doughs and pizza is so much better with fresh dough. Have fun and be safe! :)

We just had a big rattler in our yard in Northern Cal. Snakes are everywhere. Be snake alert. Never step over a log before checking to see what's on the other side. Use a walking stick and poke through grasses before you step. Snakes are beautiful creatures and they really don't want to bite you. They will run away if you give them a chance.

Haha Im swedish, dont let those ikea meatballs fool you 😂 My husband is portuguese and he lived in Italy for a while. He always insisted that there is no way a meatball can be swedish. A few years later he agrees that there is a HUGE difference between the two. They are both delicious but in their own ways 👌

That bread looked so good.Our attempts at s/d breadmaking have failed so I'm going back to the standard overnight rise dutch oven bread which is really good.I think it's still too hot here to get the starter to work.I would think with a lot of American expats that there would be some big box grocery outfit like Costco there since that's how it is most other expat enclaves.Beautiful kitty Leo was, I had 2 just like him!

Just feed raw. Started feeding my dogs that after one got stage 3 mast cell cancer. She is doing great after 16 months with no other treatment. Super easy & my dogs look better than ever. I will never feed any other way as long as I can afford it.

Haha! "These puppies" must be a Utah thing. I say it all the time, and it doesn't just apply to bread. It can be said about anything, like the meatball he called "this puppy" at the end of the video. I didn't realize that it was a regional term. I thought everyone said it.
