One of the few routes where Air China operates the Boeing 747-8 in regular service. Frankfurt, New York JFK, Guangzhou and Shanghai (SHA) are the only destinations where Air China operates the newer Jumbojet. Glad to catch the 747-8 between Frankfurt and Beijing back in 2019.
