This rare view of the new Dreamliner of MIAT Mongolian Airlines, which was delivered in August 2023 to Mongolia. A proud moment for mongolians, especially with their new comfort onboard the Boeing 787-9. They will operate new routes to the U.S from 2024, so at the moment, this Dreamliner (EI-MGL) is operating routes to Frankfurt, Istanbul, Seoul and Tokyo from New Ulaanbaatar Airport / Chinggis Khaan International Airport.
This takeoff was taken on a spring morning enroute to Frankfurt.

There is something odd about this place, the landscape, and I couldn't quite figure out why til now, there are absolutely no trees, no trees anywhere, even in residential areas when looking down, lots of hilly grasslands but no trees anywhere.

The locomotive from Singen to Stuttgart was an Austrian (ÖBB = Österreichische Bundesbahn). I persume it was rented. Die Lok ab Singen war aus Österreich. Wahrscheinlich ausgeliehen. Lokmangel bei der DB???
Kann sehr gut sein. Allerdings war ich im Nightjet und habe die Änderung der Loks betrachtet, dass die damalige BR101 auf der Strecke nun auf der Nightjet-Relation zwischen Basel und Hamburg/Berlin verkehrt, anscheinend haben sie die Lokeinsatz in dem Fall ersetzt, vorher war ja die Taurus

man kriegt auch in der zweiten Klasse die Flasche Wasser gratis :) Der Unterschied ist, dass man in der 1. Klasse noch zusätzlich ein Sandwich und ein Willkommensgetränk (auch alkoholische Getränke) bekommt. Die Sitze sind die selben, weil der erste Wagen, der nun der Ruhebereich der 2. Klasse ist, früher auch 1. Klasse war, aber ČD irgendwann realisierte, dass die Nachfrage für die 2. Klasse höher ist.
Absolut, heutzutage ist es anders, bei uns wurden nur Wasser serviert aber ein Cappuccino ist auch wirklich günstig zu bekommen, also halb so schlimm. Ausserdem erfolgte zuletzt eine Modernisierung der SuperCity, die Sitze in der 1. Klasse sind neu aus Leder.
gute Reise nach Plzeň hl.n. Es ist für 64 Kronen und der Preis steht nach rechnen Kilometer......
