He and Becky Newton were sooo funny together!!
He’s actually been spending many years doing theatre in NYC and up and down the east coast. He actually finished a limited run of a new play on Broadway in November.

Marc was one of the reasons I loved Ugly Betty. Bless Vanessa Williams for insisting Michael Urie play a regular role.
Vanessa Williams is the first celebrity I ever interviewed, and she gushed about Michael Urie. She called him a genius of an actor and said it was her privilege to work with him.
Still to this day I die laughing when the scene they all ran to the elevator to greet an important client and Wilhelmina told everyone to put on their game face and she looked at Marc and said, "I said your game face, not your gay face."......LMAO
Michael Urie is so darling. We need to see more of him!
He's also a highly respected stage actor-something I never would have known had he not starred in two plays (one of them being Hamlet!) *simultaneously* in Washington, D.C. a few years ago. It's kind of weird to me that his talents on TV have been exploited mainly as a sassy sidekick because he really has a lot of gravitas as an actor. He definitely deserves credit for being able to do both, but I think TV and movie directors need to get a clue that he is capable of serious starring roles as well as buoyant comedies.

Just finishing re-watching Ugly Betty for the first time since it went off the air and the character arc of Marc, Betty and Amanda was so good. Would love to see a reunion special or movie with the original cast. Looking forward to watching Single All The Way too, I mean, both Jennifer Coolidge AND Kathy Najimy!

What I loved about the Holiday movie was there was zero propaganda. No one was trying to sell you a gay couple, it was just pure here is a relationship these two may work out lets have fun! Thank you.. I am so over a "lesson" needed with the LGBTQ community stance. I much prefer a love story period could careless if it's same sex or not as long as the story is good I will love it. thank you thank you.

According to Michael's answers, it really depends on whether the main actor has a good or bad personality. Although Michael alias Mark was so excellent in portraying his character, if VW denied it and rejected him, he would said bye to Mark. But Thankfully, THANK YOU SO MUCH Venessa William, VW is so sweet and finally they even collaborated to ptotray this Wilhelmina&Mark duo.
