    I’ve never understood the point of mafia people risking massive jail time and violence to just live a modest life. I understand it’s part of their cover but why all the risk if you’re never allowed to enjoy the fruits on your labour?

      Those guys your referring to -- it's just their family business. It's what they enjoy, what they are good at and it's also an addiction. The thrill and the challenge is addictive, the fast/easy money is addictive, the power, pride and respect is addictive. It's not all about fancy cars and big spending.

    • @grey7513
      @grey7513 2 года назад +2

      Supposedly they're outsourcing the violence to MC, and washing their monies through massive legit businesses. That's why they've remained "off the radar" for a time.

      You're wrong actually and if you listen to the old school gangsters, the women were tough, respected, and most of thr time feared. I don't know how your family works and if you're even an Australian Italian, but women here have just as much respect and authority as the men do.
