I planted garlic too early this year!! It's been so warm it's growing so much already! I'm so scared for it's longevity because it's my first time growing garlic!
You will probably be OK. Last year our frost came late and it was warm so my garlic grew a lot prior to frost and it did just fine. Put a nice thick layer of mulch on top of the soil to help insulate it. Thankfully garlic is pretty tolerant.
Our first frost here is predicted November 21 and has been fairly consistent over the years coming right around thanksgiving. You can plant 4 to 6 weeks before first frost and I always aim for the 4 week mark.
Nice🤘 I planted grocery store bought garlic for the first time this year.😁
I think that is the best way to start! Grocery store garlic is the gateway garlic hahaha

What zone do you live in? Never mind I watched the video. Isn't it a little early to be planting in 8b?
