🤣🤣
😁
Training the chickens to attack phones is going well I see.
Training??? I haven't trained nothing hahaha, they must be screenagers...
Thanks madam for this
Most welcome 😊
Love listening to the vlogs you share. Especially loved the dog tax in this one! 😂❤
Thank you! Life is never boring with those 2 haha. But I couldn't imagine not having them.
I love your dog.
They are the best! Named my chanel chaos makers because they are my chaos makers ☺️
🤘🤘
Karen acting up … name fit perfect!! 😂😂 very self centered 😂😂
She was the first one to get a name haha. She earned that name within the 1st week of her life 🤣
Lol Karen being aptly named
You have no idea hahaha. She was the first one to get a name and was only 1 week old when she earned it haha
I had a Frizzle rooster he was a grouse rooster too yeah
I like my hens, their bad hair days makes giggle 😆
Different Colors different Gardens .Where visit where help ?Good Intentions.
Harvest those chili leaves they are good in broths...specially tinola.
I will have to try that, thanks for the suggestion!
I am dipak from in India, nice program.
Thank you! Welcome to my channel 🙂
The snapping sounds is music to my ears
Right?!?! It's the best sound 😊
smudge, I love that❤
She is the smallest and usually has the most crazy bed head and is just a little smudge of a thing haha. It suits her ☺️
I absolutely LOVE sunflower seeds. But I never tried fresh sunflower seeds. Are they good? They look delicious 😋
They are very good!
Çekirdek
Careful,my gold sea brite did that,I had to put my hand up,or she got me😮😢😅
Oh I am very vigilant when she is near my face hahaha. She has no boundaries 😅😂🤣
Lol,she has imprinted her self on you,no escape now🤗🐦⬛😂🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣 look like she earned her name then hahaha
Some is better than nothing. Good Job.🤘🤘
And she gains experience
Thanks! They will be delicious so I’m not mad
Yea, timing is still a work in progress. Each year it goes a bit better but we have such extreme weather swings here that 1 week it’s too hot to grow cool weather crops and the next week it’s too cold hahaha so I’m just happy to get anything.
Unexpected frost......
Saddest part of the season for a gardener.
Gardening is best at harvest time, right? Your garden is great
Absolutely! I do love tending to it and watching everything grow but the harvest makes the hard work worth it
What kind of peppers are the second ones? The little yellow ones is the ones I'm referring to! I've never seen them before, but they're so cuuuttteeee 😍🤗.
Biquinho peppers 😊 translates to little beak and they are DELICIOUS!!! they have a tiny bit of spice but are pretty mild, so sweet with a smokey hint. So snackable and tjeu go amazing on pizza and tacos!
@@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse I am adding that to my seed wish list! Thanks! Hopefully I can find some. I would love to grow and try some of those next season! 😍
@PatienceMarie88 you won't be dissapointed! Last time I checked, Baker Creek had them. They come in different colors, I have only tried the ones that ripen to deep yellow, not sure how the red ones are but I think they are spicier than yellow
🤘🤘🧊🥶Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!
Awwwwe karen loves you
She is the best! Demanding as all get out and earned her name but the best hahaha
❤ What a beautiful bunch of Ladies ❤
Thank you! They sure do brighten my day ☺️
"This calls for Coffee" relatable!
It’s a need every day but it was extra needed this day haha
Your tomato growing will get better I just know it. Also cucamelons are awesome.
Next year will be better. This year was tough for tomatos. Tough for many things actually.
linda linda❤
Thank you!
bạn xinh dẹp đáng yêu❤
Aww thank you!
Would love a fruit tree tour! ❤
Yay! I’ll plan on making one this spring when the trees aren’t naked and tragic haha
🤣👌
Beautiful life 💚🌿
Woo!! Excited to watch, but its bittersweet because we won't see another tour for a while. ❤
I won't dissappear entirely for the winter 😊 there just won't be much to tour on haha but still plenty to share. Good thing winters here are short because I'm impatient 🤣🤣
Good! I love listening to your garden vlogs 😊 its like listening to a voicemail from a distant friend, lol.
So cute ❤
They really are! I swear I blinked and they are no longer sassy puff balls, they are sassy chickens now! They grow so fast!
So close! I live in a northern area and have had good results with "Sugar Baby" melons. They are awesome but have a lot of seeds. Now i do Musk melons because the seeds are easy to remove!
I grow sugar babies as well but they tend to struggle more with humidity related diseases here (South Carolina) I have just heard amazing things about the black diamond and am determined to see for myself. Just going to have to keep trying I guess.
@@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse Where there's a will there's a way! Best of luck...I'm sure you will figure out a method that works! I'm going to try "Moon and Stars" melon next summer...fingers crossed!
@Reenkitty oh moon and stars is also on my list of want to try! So many melons so little space haha. Good luck to you too!
How dare you trick Karen into going out into the wild outdoors by dangling mealworms into her face? You're lucky she did not ask for the manager.
Oh I know... I'm such a terrible human. Worst chicken mom ever 🤣😂 she got me back though and showed me who is boss by stealing an earring right out of my ear haha. She earned that name!
@@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse lol, I guess she did earn it
I love finding those grubs! My chickens act like each individual grub is a winning powerball ticket 😂
🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t have the chickens at this point so I didn’t get to experience that but let me tell you, pickle worms are considered a delicacy among the ladies! They will not touch squash vine borer grubs though…. Bougie little things haha
When you said you did it all on your own and didn’t want any help, I KNEW you had to be the daughter of a contractor because girl…same 😂 This was a well thought out coop. It took you 4 months to build it because you didn’t cut any corners! Absolutely amazing 🙌🏻
Thank you! Yup, I am my fathers daughter for sure! But let me tell you, it has made me not want to touch another structure build project for a good long while haha, I had my fill.
I swear, the way you said “good morning, ladies” sounded so much like me, even my dog got excited because she thought I was talking to her 😂 Beautiful birds, and lovely coop/run. Your hubby’s chick noises were too funny! Enjoy your little flock. Chickens are so much fun ❤
Hahaha all my pets get their good mornings, so funny how your dog responded, mine get the hard core wiggle butts hahaha. So far I’m obsessed with the chickens! Loving having them around and sitting out with them after a long day I swear is better than any therapy.
You tried .maybe next time😊😊😊😊😊
Fingers crossed!
So I'm thinking your vine got zapped by cold. Kills it and the fruit won't ripen. Watermelons need time and heat so you want one that ripens earlier and can take a cooler climate. Dakotah Rose may do better in your area. Watermelons are a little iffy here in the PNW. Christmas watermelons work here. That is a variety, but there is a general category of watermelons you pick and store to eat later which may work for you. Maybe check in with local growers/master gardeners to get an idea of what works for your area. Adaptive seeds probably would be a good source.
I'm in South Carolina. My state is one of the largest commercial watermelon producers in the country. So a few things here. that vine was planted in March. It just didn't feel like producing until it was entirely too cold for watermelon. I grow other varieties but I want to try this variety. I am determined to grow this variety successfully. After 2 years it is now a personal mission because this variety seems to have something against me and I can't let it win.... so I will continue growing multiple varieties and whatever varieties sound good and have at least a couple black diamond vines to experiment with. Out last frost is in March and first frost end of November. The growing season is plenty long and hot enough for any variety, this one just hates me.
@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse That is bizarre! Yes it shouldn't give you any trouble there! 🤔 Well then, I'm not sure why it's doing that. I just assumed you lived elsewhere looking at the vine and knowing that they take longer than what works here. Also isn't it supposed to be a big melon? Did you direct sow or transplant? Sometimes they don't like transplanting and/or too late can slow it down. They're kinda like squash, you can start indoors but the timing has to be right. If they're too big they won't transplant out well.
@bdavis7801 it just hates me hahaha. But I'm stubborn so I'm not going to stop trying 🤣 I direct sew. I do have issues growing watermelon to full size though. Doesn't matter if I do everything perfect, my watermelons stay small even when fully ripe. On average half the expected size. I have tested my soil, followed all the advice, fertalized at the right times the right nutrients and have accepted the fact that I can't grow a 20lb+ watermelon haha but I can grow small and delicious ones ... just not the black diamond haha
@@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse Well good luck to you! I'm sure you'll be able to get it to work out.
Hey you should check out the candy that you can make from watermelon rinds and the unripe watermelon I saw it on a Mexican Cooking Channel however it could be from another country but I believe it was Mexican recipe
@nillsrozzy3985 I have made Watermelon rind candy before. It's good but 90% sugar hahaha. Doesn't taste like watermelon, usually flavored with lemon. The ones I make taste like lemonade but I don't make them often because it's A LOT OF sugar. And it takes daaayyysss to make.
Feed your water melon plants tobacco tea. Grow Tobacco plants and soak the leaves in water for. Week then feed it to plants leaves and all
Damn. That flick sound sounded too high pitched so that sucks. Keep up the amazing work though ❤️🤘🏻
Yea.... if the vine didn't die back for the winter, I would have left it longer. It is what it is but I am on a mission to grow this watermelon!!! Hahaha.
@@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse looking forward to your review on a beautiful and tasty one ❤️
Never heard of them.
I heard of them only a couple years ago and have been trying to grow one ever since haha
Bummer ! I know the feeling. It just sucks you have to wait till next year. That is what chaps my back side . I just want to fix it now . 😂oh well , next spring.
Hahaha yea, well this is the second failed year for the black diamond so hopefully third year will be my year haha. I can grow many things but man do I struggle with watermelon haha
You can let them sit at room temp for a few weeks before cutting. Gives them a little more time to ripen.
Unfortunately watermelons don’t ripen any further once cut from the vine like other melons.
Black diamonds are my favorite watermelons!!🍉
@wrinklesandsprinkles I have heard they are amazing but I haven’t had luck with them yet. I am bound and determined to grow a good one though so I can finally try it
@@ChaosMakersHobbyHouse I buy them from roadside vendors. They have gotten really expensive (just like everything else) this summer I paid $10.00 for one! It was worth it though. Good luck next summer.🤞🏼
Can you send some to me? I’ll pay right now
Oh those are long gone, they were delicious 😋
Clever tub hack. Love it! Good for you!
Love the ingenuity with the curing system and making do with what you have!
Thanks! It took some trial and error to figure out the best option and let me say, this wasn’t it haha. In my area we can’t have basements due to being below sea level so same goes for underground root cellars. I now cure with a tote, heat mat or heating blanket and a cup of water. That’s in my most recent video if yo want to check it out. You should see how I cured my garlic in years past so I didn’t stink up my house hahaha.
Awesome!!
Thanks!
