The most important thing that Trump has shown so far is that unnecessary violence is not acceptable! Trump wants to broker peace, without violence. And, if Trump stays on that course, he'll have a great presidency.
Tariffs, also, America, will resume sending manufacturing jobs overseas so that parts can again be created more cheaply for the oligarchs. When American farmers are unable to harvest their crops, they will either rot in the fields, or the president will find an excuse for letting immigrant labor in to do the jobs they have done for decades. Americans may not have fresh fruits and vegetables on their tables again until after Trump leaves office. With the "dumbing down of Americans," we probably couldn't get jobs that paid well enough to buy luxuries like fresh strawberries anyway.

In the not so distant past when I was younger instead of remaining silent we would ban together and stop either buying products from a company or not giving our patronage at all. Also we had the chance to watch our politicians and what they were doing. But, I also remember Dems. state the things they were going to do to combat this. There is still the options of Unions (unless Trump finds a way to do away with that too) and during COVID the only silver lining was that I again saw the corporate wealth take a BIG HIT.
