My daughter was struggling with math concepts and will be in 7th grade next year. I decided to try this when I saw a previous video that you did about your son using it. This has worked wonders for my daughter! Went back to the basics and started over and she is now ready for the 4th book! Thank you so much for sharing this great math curriculum. It has been a game changer and no more tears from my daughter when we do math!
What does it say in the front of the book where you mentioned about going through ALL of the curriculum in a yrs time? I have a highschooler who is struggling to graduate! He's thinking of being a land surveyor and Math is key in that profession! I hate math and I have tried all kinds of curriculum and he's not getting it! Thank you for this video! This is from the website: An older student could complete all six books in about one year, but it may take several years for a younger student to learn all the material. Everyone is different, so the actual time line will vary from one person to the next. But no matter your age, anyone who reads these seven books will have a solid understanding of higher math.

I’ve been praying for wisdom on next year’s math for my high functioning autistic son. We left common core math at the beginning of sixth grade and went right into TT. It is working well with one of my seventh graders, but not with his twin. My HFA son does not like the spiral approach of TT and wanted a worksheet to work through instead. I thought about Math U See, but he wouldn’t reach Algebra until 11th or 12th grade based on his placement test. Your upcoming video showed up in my newsfeed and I started researching it. It looked like what we needed with learning a firm math foundation. Your video helped confirm this is the right math for my son. Thank God for answering my prayer and thank you for sharing your son’s math journey and recommendation.
I started this with my 4th grader this year in the middle of our school year. We had tried a lot of different programs and she was still struggling and had lots of math anxiety. We LOVE this program. My daughter loves how there is no fluff and she says the way the math is explained she really gets it. Also, you can not beat the price. Simple, effective and affordable.
This math sounds great and something I might try but wondering if it’s teacher intensive? Am I the one teaching the lessons or is there enough examples for them to catch on and do it themselves? Thanks 😊
Now I’m torn….we’ve started TGTB 4 already and it’s also “tolerable” as you put it. But I wonder how if my daughter would rather literally….”learn math fast!” Do you just start with level 1 or is there a placement that tells you where to start? Did I miss that in your video?
I have a rising 6th grader who hates math. She is currently using TT. In early elementary we used Horizons, Easy Peasy, and Saxon. She's just not a math lover and that's ok. I'm not looking to turn her into a math lover, but I would like her to have more confidence in math. I've decided to give this a try. I also have a rising 2nd grader that could also benefit from this should she need it. Ordering volumes 1 and 2. Hope it HELPS!! Thanks for the advice and video.
So glad you did a review on this! I found this a few months ago for my 10 year old daughter who has ADHD and struggles with math. We ended up not sticking with it because she needs pretty pictures 😂 but it definitely helped her solidify her math facts and I feel ready to try something else. We didn’t like Teaching Textbooks either- my daughter felt like it moved too fast without enough review. Overall, this is a great resource and there isn’t enough about it out there. Thank you for your review!

This math curriculum is for myself. I have dyscalculia. I am an adult but. Hoping to improve. I absolutely love the first level. So I will be ordering the second level. My niece is 10 and dyslexic. So math is hard for her. Hopefully my nephew Hudson. Who has no learning disability. Will benefit also. I never knew math could be enjoyable.
We found it during my daughters 5th grade year and started at book 1 also! Amazing program and so glad to have your video now to send to folks when I’m raving about it and what to show them all the things 😂

We're starting our second year of homeschooling. In your opinion, would this system be considered as a full math curriculum from 1st grade through 8th grade? Also, do you supplement this with any extras such as other worksheets not included with these books or online math games, etc? Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂
The 7 books are designed to teach 1st to 12th grade math. The first book is addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It is a full math curriculum, you would just move at the pace of your child. We do not supplement at all.
You mentioned you read it with your son, is he an auditory learner? My son is and I think this may be the ticket I have been looking for. Is he grasping the concepts and retaining the information?
Would this be a worth it to jump in as an 8th grader, who struggles a bit with math? What worries me is the quarterly reports we have to send in, it would be like we are going backwards and the school would question it if we started with book 1.
My concern is upper math levels that I don’t know. Rather I read it or not, I don’t have the know how on teaching it. The only thing we use videos for is math for this very reason. 🫣

@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife Thank you so much!! I think this will be perfect for my granddaughter. You have put my mind at ease!
I just ordered!! So excited to give it a try!
I hope it works out❤️
Where did you find your color drawers, I dont see it linked
I got them at Michael’s years ago.
You mentioned you read it with your son, is he an auditory learner? My son is and I think this may be the ticket I have been looking for. Is he grasping the concepts and retaining the information?
Yes, he is. So far, it’ll he seems to be understanding the concepts.
Would this be a worth it to jump in as an 8th grader, who struggles a bit with math? What worries me is the quarterly reports we have to send in, it would be like we are going backwards and the school would question it if we started with book 1.
It would definitely be worth it. Start with the placement test and see where they fall. They may fly through book 1.
Yes! Thank you for giving math the attention it deserves. So many students need math slowed down and introduced in a common sense way.🌸
Thank you for your kind comment❤️
Do you feel it would be good for a 4th grader who is pretty strong in math to start on volume 1?
LORD JESUS IS KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!
I believe there is a placement test you can take. You may want to start with that.
My concern is upper math levels that I don’t know. Rather I read it or not, I don’t have the know how on teaching it. The only thing we use videos for is math for this very reason. 🫣
I was afraid of the same thing, but the book does an excellent job explaining each concept. We watch videos sometimes too.
