I know people often use the word "interesting" when they want to veil their disgust, but it's actually the first word that came to mind when I first heard this song (in a good way). Lots of cool tension and sound design.... makes for a very satisfying listen. There isn't a lot of new music that I still find genuinely interesting these days, but Plini is absolutely up there for me. Thank you for making such great music!
You need some different social circles if people around you use "interesting" in a sarcastic way. Lol This song is definitely engaging, exciting, and holds one's attention.
@@SamBrockmann It's not a unilateral observation. There's nothing wrong with a bit of sarcasm every now and then, but some people do overuse it. Anyway..... kind of beside the point of my original post tbh.
This might be one my favourite Plini songs now like bro its sooo good. It's like so Plini but also Snarky Puppy esque and then Tosin comes in with that!? Phenomenal.
Plini likes to write little hooks within his song and only give you 10 secs of it before he progresses or ends the song with it. And thats why i love his music so much. Never gives you a reason to get bored of it!!
My goodness the Plini and collab content has been spoiling us all lately. This is a drug i'll never tire of. And that Oud looks meant to be. Keep them coming, guys. Like... forever. 🤘
Alright so Plini is now officially a thrift shop fashionista apparently! And a djenty one! I love the collab, your styles compliment each other perfectly!
Strandberg owes Plini a lot more than they're paying him (in my opinion). That guitar is unique. I didn't even know what the brand was until I listened to his playing and learned about him. I hope to see Plini play live in '24/'25. Come to North America please
I feel like we're approaching the God-tier phase in Plini's career arc. If this song is a preview of what's just beyond the horizon... we're all in for a really special decade.
My two ABSOLUTE favorite guitarists in one video??? I couldn't click the song faster if I could. Again, another incredible piece. So dynamic and complex. As per usual.
This sounds like the music that would play in a scene of an 80s Sly movie as he tooled up with an over the top selection of weapons ahead of his warehouse showdown with the big boss.
That was pretty awesome, would love to see you shred live with Tosin. Saw you at the Masquerade in Atlanta last time you were there, it was excellent. Sungazer and Jakub Zytecki. There was a great shred-off late in the show. Good times.
I was literally scared of their playing and the ability of abstract thinking in terms of guitar playing ! It is truely fascinating to watch guitar music grow this far
Absolutely brilliant! I remember watching Animals as Leaders at The Metro earlier this year I was standing next to your band at the side of the sound desk whilst you were in the sound desk area. I was loving it as I had just seen you guys perform at the Newy Hotel weeks previously and I remember Tosin saying the next song is for my favourite Australian Plini. I looked over to you as you enjoyed the moment and thought wouldn't it be awesome if they did something together and here we are my two favourite guitarist together makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck listening to this and remembering those moments.
Yes officer, that guy over there djenting a lute. That’s him.
How are you here already??? Haha

Tosin…AND PLINI!? Man…this is the dream collab right here

I was thinking the same. Please, they must make more music together
been waiting for this collab since the madness of many tour
A few years ago I saw Plini opening for AAL (never heard of him till this day). What an aweseome experience.
False. The dream collab is Plini, Tosin, and Lars...
that rug really ties the room together
How Plini introduces Tosin by using his signature hammer-on technique just before his solo like "here's something I learned from this next artist"
I heard the song a couple times before seeing this vid and would have bet my life that was Tosin - even the tone.
