Would like to see better, more active footwork. Maybe it will come with more experience, better processing. Lack of bend, foot movement is negating his power and overall effectiveness.
This guy is a beast! He absolutely crushed the bench reps at 225. However, it seems like he's not fully confident in his lower body strength yet. Until he gets there, he might have to take a back seat and observe.
@@MrRara55 I agree but it’s crazy that Jones and Ben hasn’t had any reps at their natural positions. Seems like they just gone give them the position and not play the best people.
I am starting to think that the starting 5 should be: Ronnie, Mekari, Lindy, Cleveland and Rosengarten we would have Jones as backup OT, a combination of Vorhees and Faalele as backup G (leaning on Faalele) and Samac as backup C, that gives us the 9 players, one of Vorhees and Faalele gameday inactive Keep the great work Jason!
Ok, watched the video 4 times, each looking at a different player. 1. Vorhees didn’t look great. Playing like a backup player. Beat in the pass game several times. Run blocking was better but didn’t dominate at all. Good movement. 2. Ben Cleveland’s blocking looked good. However, his movement at center isn’t what we truly want. Linderbaum is so good at quickly switching to different defenders to help block. Pulls with the play incredibly well. Gets to level two quickly. Cleveland not so much. I feel he needs to be our starting RG. 3. Faalele. Looks serviceable at best. Looks like a fish out of water a lot of the time. With his size, you’d expect him to take him defender completely out of the play. He doesn’t finish. Again, serviceable if need be. 4. Rosengarten I’m quite excited for. Reminds me of Linderbaum in tackle form. Undersized but fantastic movement skills. Like, really good. Pass game he can mirror very well. Gives up ground but besides one pressure (that I saw), he did his job! Run game he’s obviously not an Orlando Brown Jr., but I love his tenacity at least and putting forth the effort. Moving the feet. Don’t see too many OTs pull and get that many yards down the field. *Mekari looked really solid at C. His movement + strength in there looked solid.
@@anthonygames4451 do you find it suspicious that Ben and Jones not getting reps at their natural positions? It seems like they don’t want any competition to me and don’t want us fans to see it because it’s obvious who is better. And I’m impressed with Cleveland. When I seen how he snapped the ball and pulled and looked good doing it that told me everything.
@@anthonygames4451 I don’t want faalele within 5 yards of #8. He should be a heavy package eligible tackle on and goal situations ONLY down blocking EVER 😂. They tried the experiment and so far didn’t work.
@@bankslaw8900 I do! I think it may be a play for the future. Ben and Jones are free agents next year, so if they are starters, they are both gone next year.
@@anthonygames4451 I know but eventually we are going to have to pay our lineman. We done already let Zeitler and Powers walk for pennies. 60 minutes at LG per game and Lamar won't make it to October. Is it too late to consider Mekari at LG, Cleveland RG, and Rosengarten RT? The rookie looks a heckuva lot better than Vorhees on this same film.
I'm not impressed with the coaching staff's decision to start the season with these guys. Voorhees will need time. He needs to work on his lower body strength.
our 400 y/o qb had a perfect game and our 2 best starters on the line were out, and Atlanta was playing a pretty aggressive gameplan. they aren't perfect but they are far from terrible
Let's stay focused on the "next man up" mentality and the significance of coming together as a team, especially when there are changes in the lineup. Last year, Atlanta had a 7-10 record, and we were just one game away from the Championship. It's important for us to play with that same level of determination.
Gonna need all-pro seasons from linderbaum and stanley cuz the other three are concerning at this rate. Especially when they play the chiefs front 7 week one
It's not like I've been to Camp but for some reason I'm optimistic about Ronnie for the first time since that horrible injury. Just a gut feel I guess.
72 not my type, keep him as a back up, but he's not starting nowhere but busting floors, he can start on the 1st floor, work his way to the top and clean up his game,😂 he looks like he's trying to block the player and his shadow before he gives up and just tries to block the player😂🤔smh
Very anxious about it. Wish my confidence level was higher but Jones gives even the best OL problems. Hoping Monken has a good plan and that Lamar can negate some of it through audibles.
