Hey 😊, there are 2 options you can try: Higher certificate in Accounting or Diploma in Accounting. Both will enable you to get into a SAICA Bridging program

Hi Amo, you are able to do degree after higher certificate you just need to find out from the different universities if they take Higher Certificate because they all differ

They will probably take your matric marks into account and not your IT Diploma. Quick way would be to do bTech year and then do advanced certificate and then bridging course into CA stream
so after i am done with the bridging course i will be able to do CTA just like the students who did Bacc science or my journey will still be different?
Yes you are able to apply for any university after unisa bridging course but you need to also remember that spaces for CTA at those institutions are limited and they will probably take from their own b.com final year classes first.

Hi there, I hope you are well. So you will have to bridge and then do a SAICA accredited Accounting honours/ CTA/ PGDA
Rhodes University also offers it, it’s called Preliminary Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting
