I got a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander GT and I was going to get this but they were barely coming out with the base model and I'm cool with mine. This Eclipse Cross is pretty cool and its about time there is something different on the road from the same generic design from the same brands like Toyota and Honda that comes out with compact suvs but never delivering on the power and function that a SUV is suppose to have. Most compact suvs that Toyota and Honda comes out with only had front wheel drive, no off road function, no multiple drive modes, and really rarely has any flare for the adventure type. My Outlander has 4 different drive modes, slip monitoring, goes from front wheel to AWD with a button, built stronger and has a better warranty on its new cars with a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. Unlike Toyota and Honda and comes out with 3 year 35,000 mile warranty. With Mitsubishis warranty it shows they stand by their cars and don't have anything to hide with a warranty like that. It also has the highest safety pick among other brands out there.
@@guzi965 actually Mitsubishi sells technology to Toyota/Lexus so their cars are safer on the road...so I don't think it's a real copy. Besides and all Lexus suvs is not worth the money. They make them all pretty, ultra rarely has AWD, and no real function that a SUV is suppose to have. Every Lexus SUV is just a sedan sitting up high lol....that's why I would never waste money on a luxury SUV, but I will spend money on a luxury sports car like a Buick Regal GS that has AWD, sport bucket seats, 300Hp turbo engine, and much more. Lexus is just over priced rav4 and not even a luxury brand in my opinion. Toyota has a problem of where they could turn anything into a luxury product. If you compare a Lexus sedan and the new XLE Camry with red leather seats, there is not much of a difference until you put a logo on them..
I dont understand when they make sedans they give us shity front wheel drive cars but the minute they make it awd they really jack up the price but when they make SUVs they make them with awd and cheaper than the sedan

Toyota and Honda have been coming out with the same generic look for years and Mitsubishi has decades of rally inspired AWD to back up the amount of an SUV This Eclipse Cross is. Both those other brands rarely have AWD suvs, don't offer off road drive modes or anything. I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander GT and it have 4 different driving modes, switches from front wheel drive to AWD with a button, and has a warranty that out beats most brands out there. Trust me when I say you get more for your money when you buy a Mitsubishi

I got the Mirage. Keep an eye on your Jatco CVT8, change the fluid in it every 30k miles or you will have premature CVT failure.
