I have one of these. I’m 6’1” and it does seem like it could use a longer shaft. I’m wondering if flipping the handle around would make it seem “longer?”
As long as the trigger throttle is where it is, I don't think it can feel any longer. I'm just glad I don't have to use it every day for commercial use, lol. Thanks for watching!

Still use it almost every mow. I put it away before winter with no problems. I haven’t checked my handhelds yet this year though. 🤞

Is this item hard to keep in a straight line when edging?
Great review! I'm actually replacing the exact same Black & Decker edger with the FC56, which I plan to pick up tomorrow. I think you mentioned the edge of the blade is blunt. Do you know if they sell already sharpened blades for this model?
They do, but it is a waste of time and money. you will sharpen your own blades on the first property or your own property the first time you use it just from rubbing up against the concrete. sorry for the late comment, and thanks for stopping by!

LOL. It’s ran good all year. I had to pull the spark arrester off because it clogged up pretty quick from Stihl 2 stroke oil. But it’s an excellent homeowners model.

No. This is not a combi system. It’s designed for edging only.

I hope that edger was not working. I know there must be a lot of people that don't have one but would love to get one but can't afford it right now. That sure would have been a blessing to them. The video was good though and singing too.
It was working. It wasn't in good working order. It got hot REAL fast. she was wore out.
