Y Dderwen - The Oak has always been a sacred and important tree in Welsh history since the Bronze Age. Thank you. Cariad mawr o Gymru fach. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇸🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Я живу в России, но я так обожаю Уэльс, и ее культуру, и историю, и людей из Уэльса. Есть что то у нас близкое по духу.

I heard this song from In Extremo for many years. Finally heard how it was INTENDED to sound. It's great. Amazing. Fascinating.

One of my favourite Welsh songs! I'm most familiar with the Eve Goodman version, which has an additional verse rather than repeating the first - in that verse, the singer is so lovestruck that they cannot see the point in playing their harp if their sweetheart isn't paying any attention to it.

Oh, that is so beautiful❣️ Great to see the letters, though honestly it does not come together in my mind, how you beautifully pronounce it❣️ what a special language❣️

Ardderchog! Great to hear one's culture interpreted and respected by another. A powerful and fluent performance, as was the live version you posted.

    Beautiful video.
"golwg arni sydd dra serchog" more literally translates as "a look on her that is very lovely"
