The first time I watched Ivo on tv was 1st round at Wimby 2003 vs Hewitt. And he won against the defending champion.
Same year, he came in Japan for Japan Open Championship. It was first ATP tournament I visited of my life. I asked him to give me his autographe and take a picture with me. And he accepted with smile.
It's a souvenir of my life and my treasure. Thank you Ivo. You are adorable guy.

Weird to see there is a tendency to pull the opponent's hand close to the body when at the net to do the handshake. Seems like some kind of sign as if to say: I dominate you know. Djokovic does it all the time and usually quite aggressively. I also see rublev doing this, even with a guy almost twice his age. Seems a bit unnecessary but maybe it does work

    • @michaelwei7577
