With the release of Morgana and Joker for all players they can carry you through a lot of content. Also many units that were said in this video that weren't great later down the line received major buffs via manifest weapons or another style. For example, Renri was the most recent unit to receive AS and she's now a staple Fire teams. While Anabel may not have been a great pick she is coming out with AS along with Deidre's 5* so there is definitely hope for them to become super good units (since they're popular picks amongst the Japanese community). Also at the end of the day this is a single player game, play with what you got since all the content can be beat with the free characters.
Yeah, there won't be anything as grindy as Otherlands in the future. You can get a manifest weapon to +10 in 2-3 days if you run the dungeon experience AD they'll add later down the line.
another eden is such a fun game that i regret not being able to continue as it requires a lot of manual grinding. the story, art and gameplay is just too amazing. heck i'd say it's the only gacha with a story worth playing for
You don't need to grind to enjoy the story. The optional grind is there to make your team stronger to fight the optional / secret bosses. Should check out the Persona 5 event as you get two really good characters for free and its one of the best collaboration event any mobile game has pushed out. Life does get busy sometimes but at least AE will be there for you to pick back up whenever you decide to come back.
New player here, got hooked since the director is the same as chrono trigger. tried to find out about the gacha system and the other system of this game.
I feel like Joker should have a place with the neutral attackers. Free Piercing AOE, fire AOE, 35% type debuff, and 4x dmg to any enemy that’s weak to him.

Don't worry too much about water. Having a Mighty, Shanie, Hisumena, and/or Yuna AS will be more than enough. As of writing this water is actually the weakest mono team compared to the other elements.
@@FinalesFunkeln thats the thing, I dont have any of those lol, I dont have any water 5* besides FroggyBoi. The only element which I can fully use 5* at the moment is wind with isuka, ilulu, azami, Morgana and Suzette. All other elements I have enough for Anabel, Mariel + 2 dps.
Finales Funkeln hi, your video helped me a lot in deciding which unit to invest in. Anyway, I want to ask, what is the current tier list in global/JP for mono unit? My strongest team is currently water, and I may need to grind side quest and fishing a lot for chrono stones if water zone is still the weakest :( Otherwise, I may have to invest in fire (just finished Gariyu AS chance encounter) and/or earth (just pulled Nagi AS and Premaya 4.5) banners. My wind team is Suzette and free characters, from which I only used Morgana. :/
Same, 4 of 10 pulls, nothing but trash, then 5th pull got 5 stars Elga and 6th pulls got 4 stars Suzetta. Sigh, 10k stones left, but scare to pull with this luck and I saved this account gems for 6+ months...
I started the game 2 days ago and got 2 5*s (Tsukiha and Shigure) and some 4*s and 4*s that can be upgraded to 5* from summoning so far (2k crystals used). Buuuuut since I dind`t see any pvp aspect so far, is it really necessary to summon? I mean, couldn`t I just use the units I like and that make sense in a party (healer, buffer, debuffer, attacker) and be relatively ok? I don't really see the point in summoning a lot (maybe for the character quests) so far except when I need to fill another role for a strategie.
I want to like this game i got Tsuhika, Ewan, Rosetta and some other 5 star but it's so many fights to get to where i need to go and i'm just not strong enough to endure then i have to hit back to town and start again., Heals are not strong enough yet and it just seems that i'm doing a lot quest with little progression. Lvl 20 i think i'm at.

Yeah its a very solid team. You don't need to whale on Nagi AS. While she's the hardest hitting earth unit out right now there are other units in 2.2 that are worth getting like all the ZONE units (Yuna AS, Gariyu AS is free, Claude AS, Myfuna) and some units that are very high in damage beating out Nagi AS like Kikyo and Tiramisu.
@@austingao1010 In terms of raw damage output I don't think so; however, with the way wind teams are set up currently she definitely does out damage Nagi AS due to multitude of factors from other units. You definitely want Kikyo when she releases either way if you want to go "for the best of the best".
How bad are boss fights post 2.0 bosses if you don't have elemental zone? I want to pull for some characters but they seems worthless without a powerful mono element team EDIT: did they nerf Amy? Right now her single XL neutral attack is x3 but in video she's x2
Not bad. 2.0 didn’t introduce Zones and the bosses from story and AD can be beat once you know the fight. Some other bosses in 2.1 and 2.2 can be easily countered with zone units, so they’ll make the fights much easier but so far doable with the right team comps.
You can do it but man it is going to be a slow grind. Zone just makes it smooth and easy. Pretty much like having Mariel in pre 2.0. If you don't have that you need your buff/debuff constantly up against bosses, or risk getting teamwiped. Also, Mana will be a must-have without zone against bosses with powerful buffs(good thing Mana is a event character). Amy's attack is x3.
I thought Elga's another style was leaked at collabocafe in jp. btw have you tried Lokido and Melina's manifest weapon? I wonder if they could climb up the tierlist with those
Yeah it was leaked by the collabcafe. I haven't tried it yet as of the time of the recording but initial thoughts from the JP playerbase on discord seems to be: Lokido got buffed but not enough; however, his augmented skills seem to synergize well with Tsubame. Melina got the short end of the stick.
Nagi AS is great! I just want to say that this tier list is already outdated as some of the newer units with combination of others can out do the overall damage that Nagi AS can output.

@@thefamilyman8709 Had to delete my last comment. Mana is FREE. You earn her by completing part of the IDA p3 event. She's a top tier support unit that f2p can get really easily as long as you put a little time into AE.
Yuna is one of the best units though. In global she's the best support unit we have and she's a decent healer too. You have to keep in mind that tier lists will assume that your character is maxed out when comparing units. Yuna doesn't reach her full potential until 5*s so if you still have her at 4* then ofcourse she might no be that good until you get to 5*. For example Yuna doesn't unlock one of her best skills until 5*. There isn't much to complain about her
@@nabi7701 I have her as a 5 star I got her to 70...i dont like the regen feature she has so much..I doesn't feel like she can solo heal..but then again I got a 5 star mariel so early in my playthrough that I guess I got spoiled? To me..yuna basically is a dps. Last time I used her was during the miyu event.
@@airimee That's because you are exactly right. She is only 'technically" a healer. People don't use her for her heals mainly. It's for her buffs and debuffs which increase your total team dmg by a boatload. So yes in a way she is a DPS and as a support she is the best at her job. Another Eden favors buffs and debuffs a lot so that's a big deal.
I agree, you do not need to min max anywhere near some of the top meta units to enjoy the game. This was made mainly for those that want to see the crazy potential the characters can do in the future. With that said, this tier list video is already outdated as some of the recent units can do absolutely insane damage. It's actually an interesting case right now in AE where the units are doing so much damage that comps do not run healers anymore since they will handicap you more than they'll help.

Yes. Toova and suzette are great for starters and in the long run. Toova does some pretty damn good damage too!
