This was insane. Amazingly well done by Heinla. Gave it his all... Shaw was in amazing shape for his final worlds.

You could feel the stone vibrations through the sand every time it landed. Weird how the USA USA chants were not heard in this🤔

Stop with the stone-off for the love of God. You are basically crippling half of the finalists..

It led to Brian Shaw not doing well in the finals, tired him out.

Yes.. 9 reps on the 420 stone would even hurt Tom Stoltman's performance in the final..

@@simenandersen3262Completely agree. Giants live in general seems overly worked up over spectacle rather than crafting a good competition, likely since they’re tied to a TV contract and hoping to pull in viewers that aren’t just strongman fans. The stone off is such a terrible idea and it pisses me off that these guys are killing each other before the final even starts.

Shaw expelled too much energy in the groups. Shouldnt have attempted log 5. As well as thrown the 7th kettlebell 3 times. Than I imagine he geared it down on the wheel. Did well on loaded compared to past contests. Imagine if he passes one more person in the wheel. He's content with 6 kettle bells and never has to stone off. As well as things work out as planned and he runs the fingers first in the finals, basic fresh. I know hind sight is 20/20 but it just seemed like Shaw always got the short end of the stick (if you're a new fan do your research before u comment) he had a very good shot in 2021. And if things went as planned in 2023 he's in the top three as well

No wonder Shaw seemed a little off in the final. Heinla went to war with him.

I think the Stone Off are wrong. If a guy can't lift the stones, they still got to find a way to screw the person over and make them do it anyway.
