From listing and explaining the articles, clauses, subclauses etc. to describing each step of the government's "masterstroke" to enumerating and explaining each of the counter arguments in detail.....impressive work by Mr. Nikhil Mehra. Much appreciated. Thanks to Kushal for this podcast. Truly a privilege to listen to this one in particular and looking forward to Part 2.
As someone who has read our Constitution and the legal principles holding it together and is forever more curious about the law, this was amazing. It may be information heavy for those who are coming across these provisions for the first time, but my request to those would be that as an aware and informed citizen do try to understand them. This country needs citizens who understand its most fundamental document. Kudos to Kushal and Nikhil. Respect brother.
Great work. Never fully realised that the constitutional debate on 370 is not just about 370, but about the entire constitution as a whole. The import just seems even greater to me now
It took me multiple hours to understand this. I'm an engineering student. I don't have a background in law and argumentation methods at this level. Thanks for making me more literate and hardworking, in terms of research xd.
The special status of J&K came later, not with the signing of the Instrument of Accession. The Indian Constitution was still being written when J&K acceded.
Bhailog, What comes first ?? Country or constitution???? Without constitution, country can survive but Without country ,can constitution survived? Answer that
Constitution written by human , so , err bound to happened , Something that written 75 yrs back probably not relevant in this day and age. Who benefit from 370 , Kashmiri corrupt politicians , they made billions on indian tax payers money. Indian taxpayer paying highest per head expense on kashmiri , whereas kashmir contribution to indian gdp is lowest in country. First give me my money back and then talk about 370.

The no of times I used 10 second rewinds in this podcast is insane. But it's very informative and very information heavy. And I loved it.

Deep dive into the abrogation of article 370. Very good I must say.
I have been following you for sometime now but by far this episode has been the most informative. It's like attending a lecture back at Uni.
