Hey Kushal appreciate your podcast that it is not an echo chamber. People can have different views and takes on any matter Honest conversations are welcome. Which this podcast to a considerable extent makes available. Today's was a good conversation too.
There is one point you did not touch upon but which I think is important - which is that more Sikhs need to come out to make clear that Hindus are not repressing them or oppressing them or discriminating against them. This is important. When we understand that all Sikhs should not be blamed and labelled as Khalistanis, a position which I agree with both in principle and in fact, why do you think it is okay to let a general impression or argument tobe made that Hindus are somehow to be blamed? That somehow Hindus must be conspiring against Sikhs or denying them their space? For if the socio-economic problems narrated today by your guest are a "Sikh" concern, who is there to cause it except Hindus? This is not a demand being made on all Sikhs but I hope well meaning Sikhs understand that Hindus need to be supported against baseless accusations of Hindu communalism.
There is of course a "Sikh" dimension to the problem as well and this might need a separate discussion - the direction which Sikh theology has taken towards Abrahamic tendencies, which exacerbates us vs them, with " them" to be blamed for our ills.
I will tell you who in India has an interest in promoting this kind of narrative against Hindus - the Secularists. These have been instigating and mobilising people to take an adversarial position against Hindus. Unless this is countered, Hindus are going to react defensively.
Someone who you admire Shelhar Gupta has put out a video today - Why Sikhs are hurt. You should see that video.
Each one of the 4 or 5 arguments are complete BS and worse they are sinister.
Since you are interested in Punjab do consider whether views of the kind articulated should not be countered. Because such views promoted have consequences. Including for Sikhs. Harmful consequences.

My only question to SGPC is give me
The name One political freedom fighter between 1931 and 1945 apart from Bhagat Singh as he martryed on 1931. You will not find one name in this list coz most of the jatt Sikh political class were supporting Sikh league and collaborating with British. ( you will get plenty of names of Pujnabi hindus during this period) In world war 2 there was 1.3 millions Sikh in British Indian army and total British army of undivided army was 2.4 millions. There’s are bitter truths which we don’t want to bring into lights but sometimes has to give bitter pill to bring back people into their senses🙏🙏

In India like in in Africa & other colonies, Britishers/Europeans wanted to sustain colonization so they put their local puppets in power!! Putting Congress/Nehru in power were part of the British plan!!
That is also why congress agreed to steal Indian lands to make Islamic Pakistan & then take power in the name of their so called fight for independence!! Congress then imposed their pseudo secularism to cover genocide of Hindus but also Sikhs in Punjab & Pakistan!!

sikhs never see it as a hindu vs sikh issue- yes there were sikhs in British army - no doubt- so were other Indian so called "martial" races- rajputs/ gorkhas etc. And What all of u blind fools dont realize is that in 1845 Almost ALL the Indian princely states were supporting the Brits when they defeated the Sikhs in the first anglo sikh war and then crushed the Lahore kingdom in 1849 - again with help of all the heroic forces recruited from bengal, Awadh, Rajputana and the whole of India- when the revolt of 1857 happened there was NO Sikh kingdom left to rebel - the troops that the Brits called for help to crush the rebellion were from the Cis Sutlej states (read Patiala) who were always toadies of the Brits. thanks to "forces of hindustan" -British terminology- there was no sikh army or leadership left in Punjab. The Brits satrted recruiting Sikhs in large numbers well before the 2nd WW- the most decorated units in Indian army are proudly units raised in the late 1800s...so get ur godamn facts right And going to my earlier comment - the Sikh faith in itself is a reform revolution meant to bring the various philosophies ( hindus , islam and all forms of worship) closer and together.. no Sikh ever has any mal intent towards any other religion. So stop spreading bull shit and sow the seeds of hatred between hindus and Sikhs.

The name-calling or specifically trash labelling at around 35:00 that he spoke of, I agree that trash-calling someone is not good. Still, we should also remember that anybody can't just go on labelling people on the other side as Fascists and Nazis for every small thing that they disagree with. I think we all know the atrocities and the level of crimes against humanity these 2 groups did, but reducing to anyone with whom you disagree is pretty insane. It's here where we can also find the roots for calling someone antinational. You can't just put the burden of criminality that the Nazis and Fascists have on someone just because they have a different viewpoint; even if it's a bit authoritarian, it makes no sense to equate them with the 2 groups. And people who do so shouldn't get flabbergasted when others do the same, maybe with a different label.

Then followed bluestar and killing of PM and Delhi riots. The Sikhs have a fascination for mixing politics with religion like Talibans and Pakistanis. That is not the way a modern economy works. How though? Are all Sikhs the same? Want to make Hindu Muslim 2.0 do it? Read quran it is filled with hate and anti-Non-Muslim bigotry.
Or you are saying because he has Mr. Panag on his podcast and agrees with him on his soft Khalistani views. Not all Sikhs are him or Amritpal Randi.
Say he had Harinder Sikka, then you would say the same?
