SYNDESIZER?
THIS IS WHAT IT SOUNDED LIKE IN THE ROOM OUTSIDE OF THE HEADPHONES LOL ruclips.net/video/XH6uyvYzSQA/видео.html
for the people talking about the stands, these stands have been propping up the modular since i started playing shows with kosmo 3 or 4 years ago. They are fine, they aint even wobbling as much as usual in this video haha.

Do you just have a White room
That's so sweet! Wicked song! ❤️❤️❤️
Это просто ахуеено!

I'm near 60, you are crossing every style off what makes my musical memory about when I was 14-30: if you were any more punk I'd believe it was 1979 again, I can feel Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow during the electro 80s and you've got a wicked voice! If...so many things... I'm loving what you do
same.. i am over 60..
I need someone that supports me like the legs that support that synth.
You mean barely carry your giant load and threaten to tip over anytime anything happens? I mean, better than nothing
@@alexsinclair2012 damn that's a bit toxic. Have you considered emotional support is a thing?
@@Troglobitten toxicily frigid. Lol
@@alexsinclair2012 learn to laugh at things that are clearly jokes
@@alexsinclair2012 def a joke about emotional support bud, you must be great fun at parties.
Also, very much a man. It’s almost like people that don’t want their face online use random profile pics.
This would go great with a video about digging a tunnel. Ore maybe build a rocket backpack. But a video about a 2WD bicycle would also be great.
Come from that channel ya
OK, I was wondering where the hell I've heard this before. That makes sense though. Glad I checked the comments.
For the ppl wondering. Colin furze, Part 3/4 tunnel digging :)
Hahahaha Furz!
I'm from the same video!
Started out thinking ok, this is pretty cool. Then the vocals, alright, this is freaking awesome!
Aye, those vocals are great.
felt EXACTLY the same......cool track, UNTIL the vocals came on!
THEN BLAM!
Yeah, the vocals are so gooood!
vocals are pure epic!!
I know
Sam is the most advanced being of the 21st century.
Sam, and his incredible work ethic, are an inspiration. He's got so much stuff going on-- all the stuff for the museum, his Patreon content, his electronics, his music... does he sleep? When I'm feeling lazy and not getting anything done, I tune into what Sam is doing and it's like he's telling me GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GET IT DONE.
How did he get here?
20th Century too!
Seeming he spend most of his time playing with 20th century tech. Probably not the case Haha
@@johnpassaniti4417 and I see your avatar, and I say amen twice !
The most impressive thing about this is that he's pulling it out ONE HANDED
I actually think the most impressive thing is that entire synthesizer is sitting on top of a keyboard stand that might be willing to hold half the weight @1:04 it began to wobble and I got real worried.
@@nickbrockelman true
Well he seems to be using some kind of “song mode” so a lot of stuff is automated but it is still a fucking banger nonetheless and better than all the tracks Ive ever made combined so yea...
@@Palach303 "song mode"? You must be new even though you say you made tracks. What is using is usually called a sequencer or Looper. The basic function of which is to record a number of bars or some time and then play it back over and over. A good sequencer will allow you to manipulate those Loops while they're playing while still allowing you to record even more loops and playing them as well. Nearly every song in the world is just a series of loops original music used to be called a chorus and the bridge was part of the song that brought two seconds of chorus together.
Everything you think is automated he actually played once into the sequencer right then. Once he has the bed laid he moves over and sings the lines and plays is synthesizer over the bed. The bed usually consists of the main beats and Main Melody
@@nickbrockelman good shout M8, some people don't have a clue
What the hell, your voice is awesome. I've seen so many of your videos where you're just explaining technical stuff and then bam, this awesome music. You're incredible.
Yo you should check out the band he used to sing in. The band name is ZIBRA.
@@TheChronicKarma Thanks! I'll check them out now
Yeah that's what's happening to me here, I'm like "whoa, dude...nice" lol only came across his techy videos before so this felt outta nowhere lol
Honestly. Your cadence and passion is just beyond bro!
This live Version is far superior, so much raw emotions, gives me real chills.
Exactly! I feel the same!
Uh, this isn't live. lol
@@subs4794It is
This is honestly the most impressive part -- seeing you play your songs live on your own
@Jayo Delaware Why do you think it's a playback? It's not
@Jayo Delaware he plays the solo, can’t you hear it? Are you talking about the fact that he presses the same note multiple time? If so that’s because of the attack/release settings. But he plays for real.
Colinfurze brought me here. Back again to where i already was a couple of months ago. This is called cross check of good taste..
Shows brilliant tracks don’t need a gazillion parts. Just wonderful, very listenable on repeat!
This is like something that should've been seen on The Young Ones.
‘Only pop music can save us now!”
“Anyone here like the Human League?”
YES!!!!!!
"I've never had a panic atta..."
**watches this video with a non sturdy keyboard stand holding two unstable synth cases**
I'm amazed that you can pull off such a flawless track live, Sam! keep it up! sounded fire!
YES, these flimsy stands make me nervous. Gibraltar should hook him up with a proper rack.
*wobble wobble*
So I wasn't the only one scared shitless....
I've come to believe it's all part of the performance, part of his ramshackle daredevil charm. Like juggling flaming chainsaws on a unicycle. Keeps you on knife's edge half expecting things to go horribly awry.
Thing is he can repair them if they do fall over!
That music!! That sound!! That rhythm!! Those great vocals!! That style!! I feel like I am back in the 80s again listening to all that great UK stuff!! You're a GENIUS! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That dodgy stand!
@@manmaas ...british made!
Golden times of music, it will be a long time before that happens again, today music is mostly #tag repeat copy.
This has just been featured on the Colinfurze channel. When it was playing I'm like... I've heard this before, but couldn't put my finger on it until I searched for the title and was like omg of course. This deserves a lot more recognition!
Dont pretend you knew this guy before you watched colin.. lol
Oh what Colin video featured this? Sounds like a vibe.
Its silly, but this song is one of the few things that gets my brain to make the happy chemicals, so much so it always leaves me in tears. A moment of time, filled with emotion, held within the notes of a synth and the voice of youth.
Eh?
This comment is poetry
The style of this song takes me right back to the indie stuff I listened to in the mid-2000s. Awesome stuff.
Can you think what 0:22 sounds like? Sounds exactly like something I’ve listened to before.
Kind of a shame this guy is doing his stuff right now. He def would have been huge in 2005-2010. He's mega talented
Thanks Colin Furze for pointing me to this song. Awesome.
This song really rocks. An ingenious mix of punk and electro.
*Absolutely love it* the best thing I've heard for years.
Love your singing in this one. A banger, for sure.
Upvote for a less scary synthesizer stand... It rocking around would have had me panicking 🤣
Seeing that synthesizer wobble is part of the show, lol.
Perfect music for digging a secret underground tunnel
Dude, I love your energy. This is a fun and sad song all at once.
Ya know when Sam is in his white Void room, you know its gonna slap.
If Punk wasn't a thing back in the 70/80's, but developed as a movement today. Very impress. Much good! Keep on trucking my man!
This guy clearly carry the modern evolution of punk on his shoulder ! (Kind of want to make an analogy with the synth wobbly leg holding but i'm lazy ...)
This proves once and for all punk and, the punk movement was as schlocky is anything that ever came down the pike. Frank Zappa was right R. I. P.
Modular punk. Now there's a thing.
@@BrandonAdams1010 You clearly don't understand what punk ever was.
This version here is soooo much better than the recorded version. Can you add this version to spotify plz?
Colin Furze brought me here and now I will blast all of my friends with this when they get in my car... Thank you, you beautiful Casio Commando!!
Yes Sam.
But please for the love of God. While you're procrastinating please make a solid stand for your kosmos 😂👌🔥
I think, that if it falls, he construct some new modules into it whilst repairing it……thats the plan!
Damn bro I had no Idea you could belt it out like that also! Modular synthesis is missing vocals and you are helping fix that problem! KEEP IT UP!
I watch this once every other day. Keeps me regular.
Already a subscriber, but @colinfurze brought me here. Totally missed this upload!
Absolute ARTIST, I cant understate just how impressive this is. GREAT WORK!
Bumped into this channel. Spent several hours watching in the middle of the night. Wow! This guy is a genius, love his music, love his channel! What a breath of fresh air in these times of crap pretending to be art! And… it’s the famous British ingenuity at its best. Well done! If I could put 10 likes I definitely would.
The live version is pure awesome.
I can't stop playing it.
Will you be adding this live version to Spotify as well?
I heard this version first and am completely in love with it. It does sound better than the version on Spotify, so I keep coming back and listening to this.
I would love for this version to be on Spotify. Has so much more energy.
@@DANYBARKING still not up there. I'd recommend downloading it ofline if you're still interested.
@@lordseptomus441 yes the RUclips download, option is there so I'd take the it ok to use any third party free download to get it, just over do it claiming it you own or something?
This isn't "live". It may have live played parts, but there is major post production going on. Layered vocals, etc.
Wow! My favourite song at the moment! Veeery danceable! Love to jump around the living room with my 13 months old son to it. He loves it too :)
A true nerd, knowing it all down to the last electron. So rare these days!
Why the hell are you not seriously famous. Such a talented bloke. Please someone get this Man on the TV and then see him fly.

That was PROPER! Having done live looping before I can attest how momumental it is that you killed it ONE HANDED. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great sound, and I love being able to see the live assembly
still one of my favorite live performances ever
Dude, You are a First Class Artist, A Scientist and a Musician . I discovered Your Channel a couple of weeks back and I thoroughly enjoy the Sounds, Your creative prowess and Your boundless energy!
Oh my! I can close my eyes and be taken right back to the early 80s at the height of the synthpop era. This is mind blowing!
if it wasn't for the blue LEDs it's visually time accurate too! :-)
That machine you call your brain is fabulous!
Great song dude, it's on repeat. Much love coming from the USA!
"Patch up your wounds, don't bury youth;
I hope you're in the middle of it all." has to be this generation's chorus tagline like JEWs The Middle was 20 years ago
Epic.. seen you build amazing stuff but never perform. Really cool, nice tune ✌️🙏
Y'know...back when we had rock stars, you'd be a new wave supernova!
tbh i doubted a better song than handbook to stay alive existed. yet here we are. what a belter!
So much awe for what you do ♡
You’re so awesome man
This is so much better than the official single - you should re-release it with this version!
Mic... Drop.... Your an amazingly talented musician and engineer. Keep it up your an inspiration to like minded people on RUclips 👍
that little bit of white noise you're adding in the chorus makes SUCH a difference, it's crazy
I've been a fan since Zibra, these live versions of singles have always been my favorite.
I use to only like the instrumentals, but the vocals sound so good now. Great track!
I'm tired from dancing, you're awesome, thank you for your music :)
it sounds better to me every time I listen to it again
Pure talent and skills this man has, I could listen to this all day
I would like to thank Colin Furze for introducing me to you. Love the tune
the analog white noise on background 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Love this banger!! Will have it on loop for the next three months
Wow Wintagatan and his MMX is different then I remembered. Still awsome music!
Would love to see a link up between the two of them. MMX is a mad piece of engineering.
This is a level of fire few can capture consistently. Well done!
0:16 Trying to read the notes in his arm. Looks like maybe "Charger" "Mcgarduck"? "DONATIONS" "ZZup"? and some various numbers and schematic type stuff. I have no idea what it means. Hopefully he does.
I haven’t felt this inspired by an anthem since hearing opiv on the h-street video waaay back in the early 90’s! Thank you for channeling yourself the way you do- this will keep me going another hour stuck in the upside down aka Mississippi north america
This needs many more views
this is cool Sam have missed this I suppose. Colin Furze used this in the digging so I came to it thanks. Love it
You need to put an album together Sam, I'd happily pay for this and more like it.
Wow, haven't been this turned on sense babyland in the 90's at the smell.
Love the set, u want that 80s look then turn up the saturation to max!
Thank you for this video, about to pull out my equipment. Much insperation.
The recorded version its awesome but I just love your live versions! So much visceral!
This needs to be shared!
Fairplay what a track.
"I hope you're at the middle of it all"
It's one of the most powerful lines I've heard in a while.
Sam made it look effortless again, so good!
This song is a pure banger!! Fukkin electric.
This song is just godly, I can't stop listening to it
That was sick, but man that wobbly synth stand made my b-hole pucker.
Absolutely brilliant, my wife heard from upstairs and loved it too! ;-)

Great stuff! love it. Thank you!
I assume, about 100 of the views on this video, are mine. I watch it over and over sometimes.
Good stuff.
I'm such a klutz, I know I'd be turning a knob while I'm singing and just knock all that kit all over. You're like an octopus when you get going, it's fun to watch!
The energy he puts into it.., damn

Thanks to Collin Furz to show me that brilliant musician 🙏🏼
I think the most impressive thing is that it didn’t fall off that stand!
Amazing song. Thank you.
