Just a thought. Love what you do, always looking forward to your videos uploads and projects!

GamingBase there are a bunch of diy kits for modular. I started there. It’s a cheap way to build your synth and learn soldering. Avoid smd components unless you have more advanced soldering skills. Happy wiggling!
Ay, idk if you read enough of the comments to see this - on the issues you’re having w/ G2M recognizing the lower notes, you could convert the input signal an octave up? Digitally this is done by taking the absolute value of each sample, effectively folding the negative parts up. I’m not terribly familiar with the analog equivalent but I know I’ve seen schematics for it before that only require a handful of components. Then while processing the MIDI signal you can shift the pitch back down an octave to get the note that was originally played.

@@LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER Is that because of phase problems between the bass string and the synth wave? What if you had a control on the synth that allowed you to phase-align the two? You get similar problems sometimes when a bass and a kick drum cancel each either out in a studio situation, and end up with a tragic loss of low end.
