  • Jedikiah is recovered from space by Count Rabowski, who is already holding prisoner Peter, one of the Time Guardians. Jedikiah tricks Peter into transporting them to the 20th century so he can get his revenge on the Tomorrow People.

      shame they could nt remaster these with today's effects. they had a new series but it was according to the comments section. sad imitation, with models as actors.

    I used to love this programme as a 14 yr old kid, more so than Dr. Who. And just like Dr. Who it was the theme tune that drew you in.

      @Cornelius Esperanza No they're not. Ron Grainer wrote the Dr.Who theme, not Dudley.

      @@lizclegg7556 That's a very debatable assertion! They're both great, but for me Ron Grainer's classic theme beats Dudley Simpson's.

      Agree. I am age 61 and can remember this way back in the 1970's. The theme music bought goose bumps to my body and has made me realise how fast time has flown by.

    I watched this as a teen in the 80s. I couldn't stop laughing now but I remember really loving it then.

      @@terrypussypower So true. I know these are probably very difficult for anyone today to watch - but I love them. I'd rather have these any day. A good story and compelling characters are all you really need. These are not perfect - but they have charm and heart. Special effects in general are nice but overrated.

    My fave Tomorrow People serial. And one of my most-watched pieces of classic era sci fi ever. The first two episodes in particular are huge fun.

    I used to love this programme, it seemed so ahead of its time back then, but now the sets look so cheap. still classic kids tv though.

      They were horribly cheap. There was no budget. I doubt the actors were paid more than bus fair. What we all remember are the stories. The stories were good.

    This is a classic How Not To design props for the medium you are working in. A BBC prop builder would know not to use the super extended little details that will phase and twinkle in the appalling video resolution of the day. Also...use TWO strings on your spaceships, and move the camera instead of the model... so they do not wobble.

      Nobody watches a 70s show for the effects. They watch it for the stories. Same reason people go to watch plays. You don't go see "Swallows and Anazons" or "Macbeth" for the realistic effects - if you go, then you go because you think the stories will be interesting.
