Excellent interview - all questions landed and she never mocked you once! Thanos - you are a very skilled and well prepared journalist! Thank you! Well done!
🌀 I wish we’d see more young journalists interview Fran Lebowitz so more young people would be interested in her so they know what they’re missing out and realize her wisdom is needed apart from what from the modern world they are living in. Everything that comes out of her mouth is glue to me , I stop and stick around to listen. She’s very captivating. I’m at awe when she says something I’ve said. Then I’m thinking, ‘See, I wasn’t wrong . Fran said it too ‘😂 I always want to know what she has to say about something. It’s like watching a great movie; it makes you forget your in your home because you’re so involved at what she’s saying.
I LOVE that you bring up Fran's wisdom, even though, of course she brushes it off. I love listening to her and laughing (as a fellow New Yorker) with her about the absurdities how we see them, but under all that over the years she has developed true wisdom about life. Great interview. TY
I love his questions.. he's asking different things than the last 150 people who've interviewed Fran. Very fresh.. isn't looking for her famous one liners. I love the bit about her carrying wisdom.. couldn't agree more.
Congrats for a great interview! I've seen a lot of her interviews and public talks, the way she chose here words and didn't make generic statements (for the fun of it) showed (in my view) that she was taking in consideration the questions and the interviewer thinking process. Great job to both. Ms. Morrison is indeed terribly missed
Regarding the pandemic: Fran says she didn't know how to think about it because she never experienced anything like it. If someone remembers the Vietnam War they might remember the Hong Kong Flu Pandemic of 1968. The World Health Organization retrospective estimates for deaths from the Hong Kong Flu are about the same as from Covid to date and in a shorter period of time. ( pro rata, as the world's population in 1968 was about half of what it is now) and nowhere near the number of deaths from 1918 Spanish Flu. But very few people remember the Hong Kong Flu, even those who are old enough to remember it. Food for thought.
Thados Domadis is such a sincere, original interviewer - I truly believe that Fran is impressed by him.
I am too! I subscribed to his channel.
I was so impressed, I had to listen twice.
🌀I was impressed at how Thanos Dimadis did the interview and how he got her to do it.
How wonderful this is. When he tells her that she carries wisdom, she shows, if only for a moment, how moved she is to be appreciated. Very touching.
Fran is a national treasure. I hope she knows how much she is admired, adored, loved and appreciated.

Fran never mocks interviewers that I've seen. That's because she has courtesy. Look it up.
@@kenbranaugh8251, True! When David Letterman was being an immature ass, she just stopped elucidating. She was not forthcoming.
When was he not an ass?

Thanos,, excellent interview! Such intelligent, sincere & fresh questions & Fran is the best as always.... Great job..
Yes, Fran deserves an award. For being a great interviewee.
Excellent interview Thanos, with a truly remarkable New York woman, who represents many of us. Loved it.
Congrats to Fran on the award! Well deserved.
What a great interviewer.... listening and responding versus trying to get out your own thoughts....
The era of the OLDER lady. Congratulations Fran 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This interview was perfectly balanced. Like all things should be.

An intelligent and really beautiful man and Fran. Doesn’t get any better!

A Lot of discrimination. She always speaks de truth! 🤩
Her truth…
Fran is such a compelling person to listen to.
Fran is an American Treasure
thanos... great interview, man
Mr. Dimadis cleared the runway so Fran could take off. That's how ya do it.
Some time show us our closet.....I adore your style, I like when you once said some dress to ambitious, your style is perfect, I wish I could do this.
Great interview. My guess is Fran came away from this with respect for the interviewer.
I loved her in The Year of Living Dangerously
Not Fran.
@@bonniejpreston6894 I know. It's sarcasm.

I had the Hong Kong flu in '68. I was in bed for 10 days and I'm still here.
Quick reminder of the status in Greece.
i think war and war-mongering is deeply embedded in the culture (re her comments on vietnam)
