Guys, I’m so happy with all of the things you and the other hermits/life series members do! If you need a break, just know we would rather you have a break than get burned out. One of my favorite RUclipsrs was on hiatus for THREE YEARS and she came back yesterday. I was there every moment waiting for her to post. When you need a break, please, take care of yourselves! I’ll always be here when you’re back!
Its true, defunctland, just post a new video after a break, most audiences will wait for quality and understand if you need life break, (that should be the next life series, just breaks from life)
I think the podcast is my drink. It's refreshing and always there. You both work hard to make sure it's always on the table. Sometimes I'm too full for dessert and don't want a roll but I'll always need my drink. (Not an adult beverage but I guess it can be lol)
My work mantra is "Perfection is the enemy of done" because my desire to do things RIGHT can often interfere with actually doing anything. Sometimes you just have to let good enough be good enough. And something artistic is especially hard to feel like it's done well enough to be satisfying.
That is genius. I am someone who will come up with a good idea and then proceed to tack so many "but it would be better if"s onto it that I run out of energy before I get it to a workable state.
This November/December has been one my favorite in terms of watching the Hermits/Life Series/Impossible Minecraft/and everything else in a very long time! It is also refreshing for us viewers to have a chance to see our favorite creators interacting in different ways. I never felt the quality of anything went down - I loved every single one. It’s so awesome always having a video from my favorites (but I also still watched other hermits I love too!), and my watch time has switched to basically just hermits and friends the last two months, and my general life has been better and happier because of it! Thank you all for all you do!
What I really love about this podcast is hearing all kinds of different perspectives from two full time Minecraft content creators!!! Most of us want to become Minecraft content creators and hearing all these things help us understand what really goes on behind the scenes and also shows us that you guys deal with many things that other people deal with it’s nice to hear that from big content creators!! Now xsumavoid said these famous words; “people ask, 5:44 how can we join hermitcraft, then he says start your own SMP, become the next hermitcraft” With that being said can you guys do a podcast on what it takes to start an SMP, the dos and donts, what equipment we would need, does it cost a lot of money to start an SMP, how do we get sponsors and the biggest question of all how to we get noticed on RUclips! Most of us have dreams to be the next Hermitcraft but when it comes to only getting 2-3 views a lot of people know they need to know something to get seen such as keywords, titles, thumbnails, etc to help the algorithm send people to our videos!!! I feel like your guys perspective on how these operations run woild help many people get started with starting their own SMP just like xzuma suggested!!
Listening to this gives me appreciation of skizz's wildlife ep 2 moment where he was just barely able to eat dirt in time to avoid falling. The cinematic on that was really good and I loved the way it came out on your video.
You thank us for listening, but we're just happy to get to listen! Thanks for sharing your lives and making us feel like friends and part of the conversation! Always a good time.
You both call yourselves lazy a couple of times - but can i say it's not laziness in the way you're talking about it. Sometimes you're spread thin and have to prioritise, and thats ok! It can be so difficult to let go of perfectionism, especially when you know you're capable of being so perfect, but it's so muc better for our brains and sanity in general to sometimes say "this is enough for now"
I feel like as a viewer, the holiday plate metaphor is also applicable. I always try watching Hermitcraft (my turkey). But sometimes I eat too many mash potatoes (Life Series) and can't eat any more turkey and unfortunately miss an episode here and there of some of the Hermitcraft members. Some series are the cranberries that just aren't my cup of tea, which is fine! And if there's room I can have dessert (other series).
We appreciate your hard work ❤your content has made my stressful finals actually bearable. I love watching your videos as a break from studying and doing assignments
i have always said i should share my art online, but im an overthinker, but they helped me realize perfect is unachievable, i still cant bring myself to share it tho :3
Just wanted to say that I truly appreciate the effort that you guys put into all of your work, so thank you for the entertainment that always manages to lift my spirit.
One of my favourite moments from recent Hermitcraft was you both was with Gemstone and you was talking about what was in Gem’s fridge, that was so funny and hilarious, I enjoyed that so much. 😂😂🤣 Jar of Moose 😂😂🤣
I loved the plate metaphor. I think it was so perfect. And I also think what makes a content creator successful is when they're real with their audience. You struggled with a build? Be open about it. That's how you get a solid base of viewers that will wait for you after your break. There will always be casual viewers, but those committed feel like watching a friend even though we've never interacted with you or met you (most of us, not all). So you create what YOU need to create and we'll be here along for the ride offering our thoughts and opinions.
As someone who recently discovered they were in your you 1% of listeners on youtube, I'm so happy you kept the wild life video as one. Ive listened to it at least twice just because its nice to listen to you guys as im playing Minecraft myself. You both help me constantly to focus on my own games and work while you talk.
As someone who is slowly trying to open myself up to Doing More Things after a long time of not being able, I've struggled a lot with worrying about exactly the kind of things you guys are talking about - spreading too thin and not being able to give all of the Things their due. Hearing how you guys are handling it is a gift, as well as the occasional reassurance of things that stay a struggle (like worrying you'll not be missed if you step back from a project). If people doing as well as you guys feel the way I do, then maybe I'm not doing so bad. :)
Hey Skizz, I absolutely loved the start of the last podcast! The way you and Impulse were talking, and then suddenly Grian just appeared between you-it was such a cool moment. The effects you used to make it happen were seriously impressive; it added so much to the energy of the intro. Great work, man!
Fantastic podcast! It feels so relatable-balancing the desire to work on multiple projects can be such a challenge. I love what I do, so I always remind myself that it’s better to feel overwhelmed with opportunities than to have none at all. Thank you for all the effort you put into juggling so much to deliver such amazing content. Truly inspiring as always!
Been listening to episodes I haven't watched and relistening to the collab episodes on the drives to and from another state to visit a friend, listened to 20+ hours on the way and made the ride much better. Love you guys!
I've been saving this episode for the right day and Boxing day is the day. You can miss a week of the podcast now and then to refresh guys, in food terms we viewers will just wait for the cafe to reopen to feed us when you come back. There's no Thanksgiving outside of the U.S.A except in American households. Happy Christmas Imp, Skizz and Viewers ❤
You guys are awesome! I put your podcast on the drive home from work and from home to work it's like I'm in a call with you guys somewhat cause what you talking about is always interesting to me and also helps me brainstorm ideas. Your Minecraft videos are inspiring as well always wanted people to play Minecraft with and I finally have a group myself.
Some brains are single or double chests, some are shulkers in an enderchest....mine is a bundle lol I get it. Skizz, be who you are. If you change it we will know. Impulse, the part of your streams that makes me smile the most are when you insist on ending because you've committed to lunch with your wife. You both are doing amazing!
Skizz my take on your editing lately is simple is better. I haven’t noticed lower quality. Just simple cuts is perfect! Thank you for all you do for the podcast and all the fun content!
I guess one thing is to be mindful of your "work" hours. The others you collaborate with have different goals and make different concessions which is something to keep in mind. Regarding the other hermits, Grian and Gem have put Hermitcraft on the back burner in the past few months. Because of that, they have more time to do these types of things since Hermitcraft isn't taking that time up. Pearl is a bit of a workhorse, while you guys are trying to balance work and family life. Joel's goal in Hermitcraft is to "make a city", so his focus is building buildings which he already has had a good workflow from over the years in drafting designs, obtaining material, and finally building. While what you guys are doing is quite new to you, so part of the time is trying to figure things out which can be a time sink. Perhaps breaking down your available time and setting realistic goals can better help in understanding whether a new project is feasible with your current plans, or what concessions you are willing to make to have it work out. As a creative myself, I find that it helps me "see" time better and make adjustments if I'm working on a personal project and other collaborative projects are proposed. EDIT: Also, preplanning and paper planning helps. Sketching ideas out in paper is faster and helps give you a vision of what you want. Since it is a block game, grid paper can help as well as rulers. It doesn't have to be pretty either, drafting is just putting ideas on the ground so you can visualize it. It's not supposed to be "art". Since both of you are working on build projects in Hermitcraft, this may help
Awesome podcast, I do hope you both enjoy some time with family and friends for the holidays, and some downtime on the whole. Your content this year has made me smile, laugh and just have a moment of escape from life more times than you will ever know, and I genuinely appreciate it! If I had to look at my plate, you guys are definitely desert, the thing I work hardest to get to, so that I can relax and enjoy!
Please don't forget that we also, the community that follows you amazing bunch of creators are also so blessed to have content like this. I think there are no groups of creators better than you Hermits and Lifers. We love you all.❤
You guys are doing fantastic work with this show. It is so amazing to discover all the thought process and feel connected with you guys even more. I also get the feeling that I need to do a lot of stuff, but I also want to be the best at everything, but it is not possible. I also want to do game development, content creation, film making and editing and so much more, but I can't. Impulse talking about the feeling of cutting corner is so on point. I just started my content creation journey, and I know that as a beginner, you just need to put content out there to get discovered but, in my case, I created my first episode, and it took me forever to put together something that I am not even 100% satisfied with. I guess, it's probably because I am also a video editor, and I am looking at my video and I feel so bad that this is what I created? and questioning my own efforts and quality over it. It has gotten so worse that I am not even able to properly put together a second episode. I feel like I need to put it out there but at the same time my editor instinct kicks in and is like, nope not like this and at this point I am just procrastinating everything.
I am saying this as a long time follower and a lover of hermitcraft, the life series, guess-the-build, and all of it. I feel like one thing that hasn’t been considered is that thanksgiving only comes once a year. You don’t eat a thanksgiving meal every single day. Think of how much work it takes to cook a turkey, mash the potatoes, bake the pie, etc. Never mind setting the table and hosting. Never mind what it would do to your body if you ate a thanksgiving meal every single day. I absolutely adore both of you and love your videos. But I hope you’re able to both take care of yourselves and catch your breath every once and awhile. Sending so much love.
The dinner roll with Thanksgiving dinner section was absolutely hilarious to me as an English person... er... no other country has thanksgiving... You're giving thanks for getting rid of the rest of us! :D Gosh, I love you guys, you are so hysterically American!
Green bean and bacon casserole!! Man I used to make that all the time!! Sooo good with Thanksgiving dinner I do a bit of a mix up between Newfoundland Jigs and Traditional Thanksgiving dinner lol its the best Edit and mixing everything is the way to go. A mouthful of mash potatoes, gravy, dressing, and green beans, heavenly. A bit of everything from the Jiggs pot in one bite, Nirvana.
Enjoy what you are given in life whether it be little or be a lot! It can be the best memories to last a lifetime and since this has enabled yall to quit working for corporate America and enjoy getting paid to do what you love is the best gift of all! It was an awesome dose of Thanksgiving dinner that keeps on giving everyday! ❤ you guys and all the content creators that yall enjoy time with are the best and makes my day better everyday!
@57:18 Skizz could totally do for banners what Cub did for explosive fireworks. Sell some basics (letters, numbers, arrows, etc.) and then do custom orders and such
I totally enjoyed the almost 2 hour Wild Life Episode / Grian special! I also enjoyed the not minecraft related life coach episode. It was very interesting to listen to a unfamilar point of view and I totally would love to listen you to talk to more specialists in different fields. Personally, I can understand, if you do not listen to suggestions from comments, but I will still just write them down, just to not have to say to me "what if you would have done it". I would love to get more input on CREO Cards perspective of having from the HC TCG to now MCC Game. As I think it also was quite a suprising thing how the HC TCG rocked. It would be intersting as someone from Creo card being an expert in "off-line-gaming production". Also Gamers Outreach might be a nice special guest not just for promoting GO-Karts, but from the perspective of the life and problems of being a non profit organization.
By nature, as artists, you are more critical of your own work than anyone else is (see Impulse Season 7: pyramid). I personally enjoy everything you do, which is why I watch your videos in my precious free time. Certainly I am not alone in this. That said, be sure to be kind to yourself and, when you can, slow down and enjoy life. Take care of you - you are the only ones who can do it - remember, you are the only ImpulseSV and Skizzleman that exist. Happy Holidays.
As a new content creator who has followed both of you for years now, I like being able to glean pearls of wisdom from your experiences. Unfortunately, there are not enough hours in the day to get all the things done. I've had to learn to let myself just learn this new thing, to just try and not expect perfection.
Time management is pretty key when self employed/freelancing. It's one thing having a schedule, it's another to plan for the future, especially with goals/ambitions in mind. Some of the stuff you mention as being lazy is just prioritizing. Planning, prioritizing, and performing; do, decide, delegate, and delete. I love both of your streams and your shenanigans on them, but I also know you both had set up goals that you wish to achieve. I've heard Impulse mention that he feels like he's letting people down, especially when people point out progress or the lack of progress towards his goal this season. He set goals in previous seasons and didn't meet them as well, and feels bad about it. Even mentioned quite recently in fact. I like how he's transparent, although he believes he's disappointing people, as a viewer we can see he bit off more than he can chew even if he did not participate in the other collaborations. I have done freelancing in the past for art, and while some can wing it if they have a consistent drive or can dedicate more time towards projects to get them done which eats into family time (etc), I have to be careful of what I take as projects if working multiple. I have to prioritize, and I have to be aware how long it can take. If it's something new or not as natural to me, I need more time to complete it. I need a consistent workflow. And sometimes you need to pivot if you feel stuck, work on something else and come back. Otherwise you can lose precious time working on details that only matter superficially. Getting lost in the details happens a lot in art. Perhaps getting familiar with how other creatives, and not just RUclipsr's, handle time when it comes to their work.
I even joined the Discord yet I still manage to completely forget about the Podcast until I sit down and open RUclips Friday mornings and boom there it is just uploaded 😂 I think that's the definition of lacking object permanence hahaha
Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in October and November in the United States, Canada, Saint Lucia, Liberia, and unofficially in countries like Brazil and Germany. It is also observed in the Australian territory of Norfolk Island.
It is easy to look at some square avatars in a game making some cool buildings and assume its an easy life... Man, have i stopped to take notice when you talk about how much of your day this takes Mad respect to both of you and the entire community for this And honestly, as long as you all keep being kind and respectful to one another as you have been, i don't see this stuff ever dropping off. Fans don't mind waiting a little longer, you drop that bideoand it gets gobbled full stop. I love you guys, the hermits, the lifers, I'd say keep up the good work but i can see that you guys are driven like crazy already
Day 3 of asking: I know you covered content creation, but I was wondering if you could dive more into what you guys and maybe other hermitcraft people used first to start off their RUclips career. Even though the quality was not great at the time, it's hard to know nowadays what is good to get for at least starting off since there is so much out there, and also since youtubers don't often talk about the equipment they use. At least not on a daily enough basis. This question can include making a personal youtube channel, like how both of you run your own channels, as well as how you both run this channel with the equipment. On top of that, how do you guys handle taxes? I know that's a weird question, but it's something hard to visualize filling out taxes when your job is something relatively new. Like for example, do you guys use an LLC that your RUclips career fits into? Also, side note: I'd love to hear Grian's story and how he has done some of the things he has done. Like making the life series, his creative people he brought together to work with to help with his videos, along with helping lead some things like the charity stream with robo scar.
I am trying to find my footing in the whole content creation world, getting there slowly, but along the way I asked my best friend who's really graphics orientated as opposed to my words and ideas, to make some images that, say, encapsulate a chapter, or really capture the way a character looks... and I wanted to love it. Really did. Just a simple image of shady dealings in aa backalley as seen from a main street, with lighting being the main focus from which lines were drawn... and eventually you realize that your vision is so incredibly specific that you ha e to do it yourself Now when eventually I put out chapter 1, it will have my own artwork, even though I have to start from scratch. I have to learn video editing. Even just audio editing i know will involve learning about where to cut to space out one sentence to the next just right... and i wouldn't feel ok if someone else handed me the end product of my own brainchild
i loved the wild life with Grian for the 2 hours, i dont think it would've flowed well if you broke it up into two episodes... probably quite jarring if you hadnt had a sign off with him for a moment. I think its alright to have some episodes longer than their usual because sometimes topics require a bit more of a dedicated episode. When you interview people having multiple can work because one episode is about X and the next is about Y and that can help break up the conversation and keep it fresh. Additionally you guys are all so busy its understandable you feel lazy as you call it, but are you? I would say its you are just a bit tired and thats okay you are allowed to just have abreak!
56:33 It's funny you point this out because I was one of those people. I'm assuming my introduction to Skizz and even Bdubs was the Life series. I remember just being like who are these guys? They're terrible at the game and loud. But fast forward, more mature lol, and I'm subbed to the both of you thoroughly enjoying y'alls content! Y'alls charm and wit pulled me in!
39:03 The countries that celebrate thanksgiving are Austria, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Liberia, Saint Lucia, Switzerland, The United Kingdom, and The United States. (It is also observed on Norfolk Island.) The ones in Grenada and Japan, while similarly named, are not the same as elsewhere. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, it is called Erntedankfest, but no laws govern what you can eat on it. In Brazil and the United Kingdom, it is not a legal holiday, so the food isn't regulated. In Canada, Liberia, Saint Lucia, and the United States, it is a legal holiday, but there are no laws governing what you can eat on it. Normally, this would mean there are no countries where you cannot eat Thanksgiving Dinner without a roll, HOWEVER, because it can be viewed as a Christian Holiday, some countries, (such as Somalia and Tajikistan) don't legally allow you to celebrate it at all. This means (while the roll isn't mentioned in the law) there are at least five countries in which you can't celebrate thanksgiving without a roll.
Life series, impossible minecraft, build and seek, it has been great. Which also means! Yes, the hermitcraft videos have been sparse. Mumbo has been on a roll, there's a joel here and there, and docm is doing his thing. But man does hermitcraft feel slow right now. And it doesn't matter. Just like you guys have been swamped, we have been well fed. It has been amazing. And even the other day with animatics of the life series, it is still popping off. It has been a freat season of hermit adjacent content and even if you were to take a break right now i know I'll be there when you post another video.
At the end of the day, I don't care if it takes a few days or months or even years you need to take for yourself for a break, I and I'm sure others will come back the moment you are able to be back
Hey Impulse and Skizz!! Big fan here, been watching both of you guys since shortly after yall started making content. I got a little constructive criticism here, it has felt like the last idk how many podcasts that you’ve dedicated quite a bit to each episode to remind us how time consuming content creation is and how challenging it is and the first couple times it’s felt like “good job you two, you guys work so hard and I am envious” but after hearing it for what feels like 50 times, I am starting to feel like “boo hoo you guys are extremely well off doing a dream job and have everything in life you’ll ever want or need and are complaining about it when most of us are struggling”. Not trying to do a D word but that’s just a rant about how I feel
I know they say that those Tuesday morning walks are hang-out with a hint of business, but I always get reminded of an old married couple in my neighborhood; who greets me on my way home from nightshift every morning. I want that kind of companionship.
Love listening to your show on Prime Music. I commute 1hr each day and listen to your current and past episodes every day. Thank you. I just wish I had a way to "Like" it on Prime. It is however not showing up there today.
I'm feeling about the same way soley as a *consumer* 😅 SO much is happening and i want to watch every POV in both Life Series and Impossible Minecraft, and streams. Back in season 7, 8, and some of 9 i was watching so many hermits and it's dwindled down to like, three because i also work and want to play myself and rekindle old hobbies and I can't keep up!! You guys are the epitome of work hard play hard. I'm absolutely not complaining but i don't want to miss anything!! 😂
Hey Skizz, not sure if you'll read this but we had to get our roof redone on our 30+ year old house this year too. It would've cost in the 20k range, but the upgrade was covered by our insurance, so it only cost us less than 5k. Not sure where you're at (I'm in Jersey) or what insurance you have, but you might be able to submit a retroactive claim as long as you have all the receipts and get an inspection of the work done to get some money back. I hope this helps! You guys are the best! If I catch you streaming I'll try to share this message there too :)
To add to the games you mention at the end....... Super Bunny Man - CO-OP platformer. It has a Part Mode with up to 4 players but co-op is the best. Zed and Tango played it 5 years ago (available on zedaphplay2). We Were Here (series) - co-op puzzle game. Zed and Tango played all 3 (available on zedaphplay2) but the 1st one was never uploaded
about the "they are not gonna miss me, cause whoever replaces me is gonna be better"... maybe you fail to realize people like each member for different reasons, and one of those is irreplaceable (the person). let me put it this way: i love chocolate AND i love pizza. Let's say i didn't have chocolate for a while. No amount of pizza is gonna make me not miss chocolate. maybe not the healthiest analogy but you get the point
I've been subbed to Grian since 2016. I enjoyed his videos for a while, but life got in the way. His Build Swap video showed up in my recommended videos one year ago and I watched that and was introduced not only to Impulse, Skizz, Gem, Jimmy, and Joel, but I was pulled into Hermitcraft 10, the Life Series, this podcast, and MCC. The authenticity of the people in these groups means that their content has replaced nearly all other forms of mainstream entertainment for me.
Guys! Dont forget what Etho said in his podcast with you guys. "Your like a bus driver and we are all rowdy kids in the back"
Guys, I’m so happy with all of the things you and the other hermits/life series members do!
For real
Are you referring to Gloom by any chance? I saw that she posted a video but I haven’t had the chance to watch it yet.
Literally know exactly who you're talking about
Its true, defunctland, just post a new video after a break, most audiences will wait for quality and understand if you need life break, (that should be the next life series, just breaks from life)
GLOOM REFERENCE!!
As someone who listened to the Wild Life Recap in one sitting, I'm so glad you kept it as one part instead of splitting it into two.
That was such a great episode
10% taking about the actual topic
90% taking about food .
Lol, I love it
The First words you hear are "that's why hermitcraft is the turkey" What a Wonderful way to start a podcast GENIUS!
I think the podcast is my drink. It's refreshing and always there. You both work hard to make sure it's always on the table. Sometimes I'm too full for dessert and don't want a roll but I'll always need my drink. (Not an adult beverage but I guess it can be lol)

i needed that :3 as an artist i am never happy with my art
I have to tell my students this all the time. "A 95% is better than a 0%"
That is genius. I am someone who will come up with a good idea and then proceed to tack so many "but it would be better if"s onto it that I run out of energy before I get it to a workable state.
Guys, we all need to vent. It helps us organize our lives and set priorities. Great show.

You thank us for listening, but we're just happy to get to listen! Thanks for sharing your lives and making us feel like friends and part of the conversation! Always a good time.

Agree 100%. I’m watching this three weeks late because I fell so far behind with all the content they were making.
It always makes my day when you guys post a podcast :)
It is, my day! I go ‘it’s imp and skizz podcast day (not Friday) lol
Your aerials make things so much more cohesive Skizz. TY for not cutting them
We appreciate your hard work ❤your content has made my stressful finals actually bearable. I love watching your videos as a break from studying and doing assignments
You guys and the other Hermits inspired me to start posting content (after saying i would for 6 years) from the bottom of my heart thank you
i have always said i should share my art online, but im an overthinker, but they helped me realize perfect is unachievable, i still cant bring myself to share it tho :3
that is exactly it, perfect is unachievable. If you want to post art online, you will get to that point eventually. it will just take time.
@TheMaskedError i hope i will :3 thanks
Just wanted to say that I truly appreciate the effort that you guys put into all of your work, so thank you for the entertainment that always manages to lift my spirit.
This was so needed rn, sick on the couch, I am so damn happy you uploaded
im also sick, but i gotta get better soon for ill have family over for xmas! maby this will help?
@Pumpkin12. yeah!! Hope it does to!
Skittlesman!!
its him
Yayyy
Tbh I think that's a cute name lol
When I was a Guider, our Jr Leader's name was Skittles lol we loved her
Yaaay
Excellent episode as always I love your metaphor! That was so funny! “Here comes Skizz.. anyone want pumpkin pie?” I can so see that!😂😂❤
As someone who is slowly trying to open myself up to Doing More Things after a long time of not being able, I've struggled a lot with worrying about exactly the kind of things you guys are talking about - spreading too thin and not being able to give all of the Things their due. Hearing how you guys are handling it is a gift, as well as the occasional reassurance of things that stay a struggle (like worrying you'll not be missed if you step back from a project). If people doing as well as you guys feel the way I do, then maybe I'm not doing so bad. :)
I get you. I'm going through similar things rn. I wish you luck in your endeavours, celebrate "small wins", set realistic acheivable goals!
I absolutely love this podcast. I really enjoy hearing you guys talk
Phasmo is the drink! Youre always gonna need it no matter how much you have on the plate lol
This is the BEST PODCAST EVER!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🤶
I've been saving this episode for the right day and Boxing day is the day. You can miss a week of the podcast now and then to refresh guys, in food terms we viewers will just wait for the cafe to reopen to feed us when you come back. There's no Thanksgiving outside of the U.S.A except in American households. Happy Christmas Imp, Skizz and Viewers ❤
You're both awesome! I've never felt let down by any of your videos!
You guys are awesome! I put your podcast on the drive home from work and from home to work it's like I'm in a call with you guys somewhat cause what you talking about is always interesting to me and also helps me brainstorm ideas. Your Minecraft videos are inspiring as well always wanted people to play Minecraft with and I finally have a group myself.
ooh!! happy holidays you two!!
GUYS WAKE UP ITS THE IMP AND SKIZZ PODCASTTTTT!!!!!
IM AWAKE IM AWAKE
YEAH I'M AWAKE TOO!!! so excited to watch another episode :)
@@lilfroggy_C Ahh good morning an enjoy a new episode :3
Some brains are single or double chests, some are shulkers in an enderchest....mine is a bundle lol I get it. Skizz, be who you are. If you change it we will know. Impulse, the part of your streams that makes me smile the most are when you insist on ending because you've committed to lunch with your wife. You both are doing amazing!
I applaud the work ethic you two have
Skizz my take on your editing lately is simple is better. I haven’t noticed lower quality. Just simple cuts is perfect! Thank you for all you do for the podcast and all the fun content!
Skizzs thumbnails make me laugh before i even watch the video and that is what gives them their charm
Merry Christmas🎄
The thanksgiving plate metaphor is perfect! Haha
Sooo good with Thanksgiving dinner
I do a bit of a mix up between Newfoundland Jigs and Traditional Thanksgiving dinner lol its the best
Edit and mixing everything is the way to go.
Your best metaphor ever!
@57:18
Skizz could totally do for banners what Cub did for explosive fireworks. Sell some basics (letters, numbers, arrows, etc.) and then do custom orders and such
That was a great metaphor! I bet you want to do it all. We appreciate all that you have done for us. We have been eating well in content. Thank you.
Didn’t sound like complaining to me. I heard passionate planning
Happy Holidays.
dude the quality on the camera is so good!!! Love the vid:D
thank you for everything that you do!
I even joined the Discord yet I still manage to completely forget about the Podcast until I sit down and open RUclips Friday mornings and boom there it is just uploaded 😂
I think that's the definition of lacking object permanence hahaha
Starting with the food analogies! I JUST HAD LUNCH!
Keep your gratitude and humility, and continue being good men/husbands/fathers and your plates will always be full.
"Can't have Thanksgiving without the roll, it's illegal in 17 countries" 😂 fact that only one country does Thanksgiving makes this such a good quote
Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in October and November in the United States, Canada, Saint Lucia, Liberia, and unofficially in countries like Brazil and Germany. It is also observed in the Australian territory of Norfolk Island.
Only 1 Country celebrates Thanksgiving...? Lol, okay.
@@Mar10K0ng wait really?
Thanks, I had no idea
Thank you for this! Was just getting ready to draw some comics, and wanted something to listen to. Thanks!
It is easy to look at some square avatars in a game making some cool buildings and assume its an easy life...
Man, have i stopped to take notice when you talk about how much of your day this takes
Mad respect to both of you and the entire community for this
And honestly, as long as you all keep being kind and respectful to one another as you have been, i don't see this stuff ever dropping off. Fans don't mind waiting a little longer, you drop that bideoand it gets gobbled full stop.
I love you guys, the hermits, the lifers, I'd say keep up the good work but i can see that you guys are driven like crazy already
I love these 2 😂
Day 3 of asking: I know you covered content creation, but I was wondering if you could dive more into what you guys and maybe other hermitcraft people used first to start off their RUclips career.
I really enjoy Phasmo guys, and catch that every week ❤
Loved how excited Skizz got at how well the Thanksgiving analogy fit 😆
Hey man I’m just going to throw it out there. We would all love a holiday guess the build! I do agree though, if you need a break take a break.
I am trying to find my footing in the whole content creation world, getting there slowly, but along the way I asked my best friend who's really graphics orientated as opposed to my words and ideas, to make some images that, say, encapsulate a chapter, or really capture the way a character looks... and I wanted to love it. Really did. Just a simple image of shady dealings in aa backalley as seen from a main street, with lighting being the main focus from which lines were drawn... and eventually you realize that your vision is so incredibly specific that you ha e to do it yourself
Now when eventually I put out chapter 1, it will have my own artwork, even though I have to start from scratch.
I Love you guys, you are both absolutely Awesome
56:33 It's funny you point this out because I was one of those people. I'm assuming my introduction to Skizz and even Bdubs was the Life series. I remember just being like who are these guys? They're terrible at the game and loud. But fast forward, more mature lol, and I'm subbed to the both of you thoroughly enjoying y'alls content! Y'alls charm and wit pulled me in!
I love your thumbnails Skizz!
"Skizz in a harness, suspended from a crane over his house, hanging christmas lights" sounds like a Guess the Build prompt 🤣
Impulse becoming a silksong fan:
January for sure!!!
Yay!!!! They posted!!
At the end of the day, I don't care if it takes a few days or months or even years you need to take for yourself for a break, I and I'm sure others will come back the moment you are able to be back
I love this show!
Again, I love you both and I’m giving criticism because I rely on your content to pass my days
Skizz I think your thumbnails are fun. I like them and feel like I can see effort in them.
Merry Christmas!
I love longer episodes ❤
I know they say that those Tuesday morning walks are hang-out with a hint of business, but I always get reminded of an old married couple in my neighborhood; who greets me on my way home from nightshift every morning.
I want that kind of companionship.
Good Video Lads👍
Happy holidays To Everyone 🎄🎅
to skziz, your pause during the previous series made me realize you put that boom sound during editing. now you've confirmed it!
I loved the longer video about wild life ❤
Impulse you always say you are gonna go crazy and you never do. Let your word be your gospel!
about the "they are not gonna miss me, cause whoever replaces me is gonna be better"... maybe you fail to realize people like each member for different reasons, and one of those is irreplaceable (the person).
let me put it this way:
i love chocolate AND i love pizza.
