Yes that's correct Akshay, very purpose of RSA gets defeated if it's not efficient and in my case it was poor. I have logged the case with Honda and they said they will investigate and revert. 🙏
Sir.. btr you can do 1 thng.. get a new battery of exide or amaron fit n get ur bike home.. n apply for replacement of tata battery.. and keep that batt as ur alternate option for future.. as 7dayz is a longer period for such a small thng..

I was thinking to buy Honda highness now I’m reconsidering after watching your video. It is definitely very serious problem of battery and bike suddenly coming to a halt which will be a nightmare imaging it stops where things are not safe. Other major safety issue is brake shoes which is again a safety issue which will be life threatening. Poor and cheap quality of brake pads used by the company is shame. I’m driving suv with all four wheels are with disc brakes and shoes lasted for more than 80,000 km. I’m thinking to look for other brands as I consider above issues as major. Thanks for sharing.
I purchased a CB350 in the month of April 2022. Aug5th 2022 the battery got completely drained. (5 days i did not use the bike) BIGWING Changed and gave me a new battery by Aug 8th 2022. Within 40 days of usage. Again had a issue on 26th Sep (2 days i did not use the bike) Issue was raised 26th Sep Vehicle Picked Up on 28th Sep. Delivered on 03rd Oct Issue re occurred on 03rd Oct. On 03rd the battery again failed same day. Now they gave me with a new battery by 11th Oct 2022. This is the third battery in 6 months. I am extremely worried to use this bike for a long distance. I think honda should take care of this. Either replace the TATA brand batteries or i feel that there is some other electrical issue in this bike

I too faced the same problem after one month of my purchase on 11th Novemner. The customer care is not giving any reply after 15 days. Now I am planning to approach the consumer court.
Good to hear that your problem is being handled. But the time they are taking isn't professional at all. I had seen in some other Hness rider's videos about the battery issue and due to the fact that our bike doesn't have a kick, i have bought a Powerbank which alsomacts as a jumpstarter for cars and bikes. I always carry it. I'll suggest if you plan to go for long solo rides, please do consider buying one for yourself. If not powerbank, but at least the long jumpstart cable, so that you can stop any car passing by and seek help in using their battery to jumpstart yours. Sharing this video with fellow Hness owners. Sir I faced a problem. Don't know whether it's battery problem. Bike started within few seconds jerky movement add on to it light blinking ( meter , blinking of parking light ). For god's sake was 100-200 mts away from home. I agree with you if it's battery problem they must replace with other company battery for free. REPUTATION COSTS MORE. These are major issues as honda big wing show rooms are very less. I think battery have never passed quality check for endurance.
Ya, battery warranty is only for 2years which means you might have bought new one. Charging the discharged battery is one solution suggested by a rider.
My tata battery becomes completely dead just few months ago, so I replaced with Exide but now at sometimes especially during hot summers battery fails to start... Totally confused😢😢

My rim has already been changed once, I don’t know how but it did break. Battery also gone once. I was the first one facing issue in high altitude, honda has gone down in terms of their reliability. I hope they sort out their issues.

Hi, wouldn't the bike start when you move it on slope with 2nd or 3rd gear and releasing the clutch like all other bikes start when we this type of situation?
First of all Honda as squeezed minimum rated battery of 6AH for big bike like cb 350 with energy consuming electrical like head lights , indicators which are on all the time. They could have given space for 9AH or 12 AH Battery .Modern bikes has Battery centric ignition and fuel supply systems with absence of kick bike is risky to drive in isolated tracks .
Today, I got this issue as a surprise, just after 1 year and 10 days. Hness just dead on the road (6086kms). Service team just denied the RSA as it expired 10 days before. In that city no one selling YTZ7 battery then I bought XLTZ7 exide battery. It was really painful situation, when ur most cared bike got dead. Now i lost the confidence on long rides. If they only provide 25 kms circle of RSA, then whats the point in RSA renewal. Now i lost trust in honda. I should ve choose RE, at least for the N number of service stations or even we will get alot of local mechanics with knowledge and spares. 😢

Akshay Bro, same issue I faced. 3 instances on highway my Bike Battery got drain to 8 volts. RSA service is not reliable at all, it takes 5 to 24 hours to pickup your stranded bike. I have gone through this 3 times. My Tata battery was replaced once with another Tata Battery. Service Center Folks only recharge the batteries and plug it back. I have lost all my confidence to take it on a long ride brother. Only I do city riding with it. I am using other company battery and hope it should fix this battery drain issue.

Hello Brother, Congratulations for your new bike. My battery died after 5 months and 3000kms. But it doesn't necesssarily mean your bike's battery will die at the same time...it may last its entire life, you can't say. But yes Tata battery issues have been reported in few cases.

I know the pain whether in city or outside when this happens..in fact my bike stalled on saturday 30 May 2022 1 week after coming from service centre regular maintenance & given with stalling complaint...service centre guys are clueless..bike is under 5 yr extended warranty. Please write to Honda on this email ID customercare@honda2wheelersindia.com. they will register a case and send a case ID to you. You might have to follow up couple of times. Talk to SC guys also and Register a case on above email ID. 🙏
Same happened with my highness.... Fortunately I was at home... Didn't ride my bike for 1 week, and when I tried to start it, the bike refused to start... Later found that the fule pump was jammed and stopped working. I raised the complaint at evening 6pm, RSA arrived next day 9.30am Ofcourse the fule pump was replaced under warranty, but it definitely made me rethink my decision... I think RSA and extended warranty is must for Highness.
@@simplepleasures4800 yes, the service centre mechanic also agreed that Honda has been experiencing fuel pump issues since they launched CBR. I am also worried if this issue comes after the warranty gets over... Because the price of fuel pump is aprox 5.5k
Planning a long ride and this came at the opportune moment. I was considering whether to even take rsa given their service. I have the same colour bike and love it. This is truly unfortunate. Did you mention that when you turn off the engine, the battery voltage should not drop below 12.6v
Hello Brother, Yes service from RSA that I received was not good but Honda called me few times and told me that they have fixed the issue but I would not know. If you take long rides, it makes sense to buy RSA because towing or any other RSA related services custody etc.. are very high nowadays. Yes if it drops below 12.6v or fluctuates than I would assume there is some issues with the battery and needs attention but I am going to discuss with workshop this weekend to understand if there is any battery related drill that we can do before start of journey 🙏
Sir, I own a Himalayan (bs 6 model) which I purchased in nov 2020. I took a test ride of Honda cb 350 and was quite impressed. Now I am contemplating to sell my Himalayan and book cb 350. No doubt Himalayan is a wonderful bike and I love to ride it for long distances. I am little bit concerned about the weight of Himalayan as I dropped it twice and while lifting it I got cramps in my back (I am 60 years old). Honda cb350 is nearly 19 kilos lighter than Himalayan and I am comfortable with it. I was about to book Honda cb350 today but after watching your video I am a little bit confused (though I know very little Hindi). Can I go ahead and book. What about the cost of spares and maintenance.
Hello Sir, Hope you are doing well 🙏 Yes I did face battery issue in my Hness but besides that I haven't faced any other issue in last 10 months. Bike has been reliable and stable so far. Hness is lighter and feels nimble too. Spares, maintenance, accessories costs are reasonable. I always request people to test ride the bike before buying and i believe you have already done that and liked it too. Hness is a value for money bike, reliable and a safe bet. 🙏

Hi friend, was disappointed to know the issue was with Tata battery. Honda should have tied up with Amaron or Exide, both never let's anyone down. Additionally, 7 days is a long period to replace a battery, it should not have been the case and Honda should address the issues at the soonest. How long does brake pads last, I have done 9,000 k and they are working fine. Usually 90 percent of time, I use front brake and my left foot is always away from rear brake pedal and very rarely use rear brake that too softly. Hope the replacement battery works just that fine. 😊

Faced the same issue today, had to tow it to Nerul Service Centre, for now they have told me its starter motor issue and battery is also drained.

It won't jump start. Honda manual says not to try jump start as it will damage engine and transmission

Happened with me too, my battery is completely drained. Only 150 kms driven and I went for first service and then after parking in garage it’s dead.

I know the pain whether in city or outside when this happens..in fact my bike stalled on saturday 30 May 2022 1 week after coming from service centre regular maintenance & given with stalling complaint...service centre guys are clueless..bike is under 5 yr extended warranty. Any suggestions on how to escalate my case would be welcome. Thanks.
Hi Sandeep, yes I remember you did mention that you own Unicorn, sorry to hear that your bike got stalled. Please write to Honda on this email ID customercare@honda2wheelersindia.com. they will register a case and send a case ID to you. You might have to follow up couple of times. Talk to SC guys also and Register a case on above email ID. 🙏

Hello Kushagra, They are charged me toll charges. 1250 is annual fee of RSA. Toll charges were later refunded.

It wouldn't start like that if battery is totally drained.
Same happened with my highness.... Fortunately I was at home...
Didn't ride my bike for 1 week, and when I tried to start it, the bike refused to start... Later found that the fule pump was jammed and stopped working.
I raised the complaint at evening 6pm, RSA arrived next day 9.30am
Ofcourse the fule pump was replaced under warranty, but it definitely made me rethink my decision...
I think RSA and extended warranty is must for Highness.

@@simplepleasures4800 yes, the service centre mechanic also agreed that Honda has been experiencing fuel pump issues since they launched CBR.
I am also worried if this issue comes after the warranty gets over... Because the price of fuel pump is aprox 5.5k

Planning a long ride and this came at the opportune moment. I was considering whether to even take rsa given their service. I have the same colour bike and love it. This is truly unfortunate. Did you mention that when you turn off the engine, the battery voltage should not drop below 12.6v
Hello Brother, Yes service from RSA that I received was not good but Honda called me few times and told me that they have fixed the issue but I would not know. If you take long rides, it makes sense to buy RSA because towing or any other RSA related services custody etc.. are very high nowadays. Yes if it drops below 12.6v or fluctuates than I would assume there is some issues with the battery and needs attention but I am going to discuss with workshop this weekend to understand if there is any battery related drill that we can do before start of journey 🙏

Sir, I own a Himalayan (bs 6 model) which I purchased in nov 2020. I took a test ride of Honda cb 350 and was quite impressed. Now I am contemplating to sell my Himalayan and book cb 350. No doubt Himalayan is a wonderful bike and I love to ride it for long distances. I am little bit concerned about the weight of Himalayan as I dropped it twice and while lifting it I got cramps in my back (I am 60 years old). Honda cb350 is nearly 19 kilos lighter than Himalayan and I am comfortable with it. I was about to book Honda cb350 today but after watching your video I am a little bit confused (though I know very little Hindi). Can I go ahead and book. What about the cost of spares and maintenance.
Hello Sir, Hope you are doing well 🙏 Yes I did face battery issue in my Hness but besides that I haven't faced any other issue in last 10 months. Bike has been reliable and stable so far. Hness is lighter and feels nimble too. Spares, maintenance, accessories costs are reasonable. I always request people to test ride the bike before buying and i believe you have already done that and liked it too. Hness is a value for money bike, reliable and a safe bet. 🙏
@@simplepleasures4800 Thank you for your response. I took another test ride an hour back. The ride quality is excellent. The rear view mirrors are useless as it covers nearly a third of the riders body. Tomorrow I am paying booking amount. I am planning to book anniversary edition.

Battery plays a major part in all this. Even with a kick this wouldn't have worked. The FI pump needs proper current to pump fuel in the engine.
Is there no way to start the bike with a dead battery?

@@no22sill How will the FI pump work without the required voltage it needs to function. With the FI system not working how will fuel enter the engine chamber for combustion mixed with air with the help of FI pump.

Hi friend, was disappointed to know the issue was with Tata battery. Honda should have tied up with Amaron or Exide, both never let's anyone down.
Additionally, 7 days is a long period to replace a battery, it should not have been the case and Honda should address the issues at the soonest.
How long does brake pads last, I have done 9,000 k and they are working fine. Usually 90 percent of time, I use front brake and my left foot is always away from rear brake pedal and very rarely use rear brake that too softly.
Hope the replacement battery works just that fine. 😊
Thanks for your concern brother 🙏Yes that is correct, wear and tear of brake pads can be reduced if we are smart about it. Honda unfortunately has partnered with Tata only and not other battery brands. 7 days is too long.
