That plant has the coolest looking leaves like they were cut out like paper dolls. I know they are pricy but I’ve got to get one. Guess they must do well in shade which will be perfect for my garden
Still no idea where I’m putting mine Have you seen the milsbo ikea hack? People are putting tropical plants in them I’m thinking of maybe in there 😂 do you think the leaves would still fall off if kept warm with good light 😁
@@Us_and_themm there’s a chance it may keep leaves, I just let them fall off and keep the plants inside, somewhere cool We have a greenhouse so that might be an option I see a lot of people using the ikea greenhouse!
I’ve heard of a few people overwintering them successfully outside in the UK, but that is in milder areas then me and also in sheltered areas of gardens!
@@montongarden well I’m on panhandle of Florida zone 8b/9a. My problem is most of winter is 32 F or above at night but usually get 2 or 3 nights it dips to 25 F with a wind chill for a couple hours below that. I do have some sheltered areas I keep fatsia planted plus I cover them in frost cloth so I might try the ground
@@wesleyhackney I didn’t expect those temps for Florida! But if it’s only short periods of frost I suspect they will be ok I know my seed came from the mendoza area of Argentina, I know it can get fairly cool around that area, I was fairly close several years ago with work and it wasn’t that warm during the day!
She’s absolutely beautiful!
@@JoseMartinez-df2db Thanks, they are an amazing plant

@@montongarden are you not tempted to do one for the boring winter months 😏
@@Us_and_themm I’ve got plenty planned for the winter months, got two big raised beds and a pond to build! Going to keep me very busy 🙂
How cold tolerant are these plants?
