It'sMeAsh 36 we have it at the movies, its just we all love our money to much and dont want to play extra just to buy it at the movies, when it could be cheaper at a Mcdonald's.
Well, Australian Mcdonalds currently has two types of bacon depending on what you order. The type seen in the video is called Rasher bacon, the other type is thinner and crispier, and unsurprisingly is called crispy bacon. Probably closer to the US idea of bacon. The majority of Bacon we'd use in Australia is Rasher bacon though, which I believe comes from British traditions, since that's also what you'd usually see in England... (Like, say, if you ordered a proper 'full English' breakfast, you'd get Rasher bacon, just like this, not some other kind. Scrambled eggs, rasher bacon, tomato, sausage, sometimes mashed potato... Yeah...)
@Extremist If they're calling our Big Mac's 'big', then that would imply that it's larger than their Big Macs, which makes your statement make absolutely zero sense.
Nah uk bacon is different. Its not smoked and its a little watery when you try pan fry it. Apparently some places have been caught pumping it with water to add weight... to cook uk bacon without broiling it you kinda need to grill it instead on a rack. Least thats my experience. First time i cooked it i was like wtf..
If you do this the other way around the Aussies would be disgusted because of the even lower quality ingredients and the amount of sugar they cram into the buns in the US
I just got back from the US a week ago and the quality of maccas is soooo much worse compared to Australia. Most notably their coke tastes like soda water.
Julia Bennett is frozen coke a common thing?? I mean we have those weird gas station drinks that are cola flavored but why would you drink a slushied coke?? Is it that good?
Tagger Tale yes it is honestly All fast food places have em Gas stations too ! U can get jumbo, large, small etc Also it comes in many flavours. One gas station has weird but tasty ones while maccas or hungry jacks (Aussie Burger King) has Coke flavours, Fanta, Sprite etc So yes it’s amazing ♥️🙃

Mate your wrong. Its referring to the south-west of Aus. So an angus burger, does that mean its from somewhere American.....No its refering to Australian angus beef.
No, it´s not, most foods that American like to say "Here it´s called x" and like to act like they were the ones that own them and made them actually came from Europe. When they say "American Bacon" they are literally saying "All the Bacon around the world exept for Britain". In Portugal, we have been making thin bacon from the belly (British bacon is from the back, idiots don´t even know this) before America was even discovered.

***** Hold up Burger King is called Hungry Jacks in Australia lol okay I understand you guys called McDonald Macca but Burger King and Hungry Jacks is totally different.
BarcelonaCobayo1998 Its ignorant to say "American logic". In every country bacon is different... in the USA their bacon is cut differently and more importantly it is smoked unlike some other places... so to them they are absolutely correct , that is not bacon to them. Also dont use the term "proper bacon" because it falls under the same guide lines as stated before...most pork , throughout history has been smoked for preservation , salt curing wasnt introduced till much later because salt wasnt regularly available.. WHats proper in your country isnt in other countries... so that makes your comment....invalid.
What the heck?? We have frozen coke.. Slushes and Slurpee are all over the dang place. You can even get them at Burger King.. where do these people live?
WheresYour Beard cqcrtdoesgaming People can't take a joke XD I know that's not what an actual Aussie sounds like, I know people from there (online friends) its just a joke because of how people stereotype Australians. I didn't actually mean it. It was just something I read online and thought was funny, I didn't mean it in any way other than a joke :)
Yeah, I've heard about that. Just the word steakhouse is orgasmic in Australia because you get these bug juicy eye fillets with a slab of potatoes wedges. It's sad to think that steakhouses names are being ruined by a wannabe steakhouse in the USA
As an Australian who has been to America they serve food in big portions. We ordered a pizza and It was the size of the table we were eating at. America is still a fun country to visit.
oh i'm sorry we don't burn our bacon to within an inch of its existence. australian bacon still looks like it came from an animal - which is probably a good thing when it comes to food.............
American Bacon tends to be thin and crispy. Thicker cuts bacon we tend to call ham. What makes American Bacon good is it's overall thin-ness, fat to meat ratio, and smoke flavor. It's definitely not healthy for consumption.
Jack not really I’m pretty sure they are used to calling it that. Mc Donald’s May only use the word ketchup in their ads and menus but the workers don’t say it
How is he mistaken in any way, you watch any american video and they are all respectful even if they do not like it, where as any other country be littles the american foods. The one that specifically comes to mind is anything that involves the Italians.
I’m so surprised that you doesn’t have frozen coke over there! It’s my life that stuff! Also thanks for not making us look bad in front of all the other countries that have seen this 😂 cause most pple say ew to vegemite BEFORE THEY EAT IT!!! It’s so annoying! Like if you agree..
yea when they eat vegimite there like ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww you are not meant to have a whole spoon full you spread it lightly on a peice of toast the idiots and also a hot milo who the hell puts just hot water and milo and no milk like why would they think we do that that dose not taste good at all
So nobody's lightbulb went on that 'frozen coke' is exactly the same thing as a slurpee/slushie/icee? You know, those beverages that are available at literally every gas station, convenience store, and now a good number of movie theaters as well?
Frozen coke is a lot smoother. I've never had a "slurpee" or "Icee" as I'm Australian, but compared to the other slushies I have had, frozen coke is smoother, if that makes any sense
+Jonathan Feliciano I'm not sure about that. But as someone who lives in Australia and used to get frozen coke like every day after school (cause summer is so hot here) it's just my experience with it.
I have a PHD is slurpees, slushies and well icee is a brand of slurpies and you forgot shaved ice but besides that slushie is what he tried hemce the texture a slurpee has a more smooth and mot so noticable crunchy taste
+Allie Falkner I'm not sure if you're snarking my choice of words or what, but when I say "nobody" I mean the testers in this video. They're all trying this item and discussing it like it's something completely new to them when they have the exact same thing readily available in their country.
Had a Double Quarter Pounder first time in quite awhile. Completely forgot how good they are. But still, what I usually get (Plain Triple Cheeseburgers with an extra piece of cheese on each of them) is still quite good. Yeah, I'm a "Meat and Cheese Only" kinda guy. When it comes to Burger Joints and Taco Joints... And Pizza Joints.
As an American that lived in Australia for three years, I totally think that Macca's tastes so much better there than in the US. I never eat US Maccas anymore.
As an Australian going on a 3 and a half week trip to the USA in a couple of months, I now feel scared of what I'm going to find in Maccas over there :S

6 years old and eating a Big Mac? When I was 6 years old I was forced to eat a proper meal, and when I ever did go to McDonalds, it would be a happy meal.
When I was young, the only time I was allowed to eat Mac.donalds was at someone's birthday and even then I was only allowed to eat the fries because "Natasha I buy free range organic chicken it's so expensive what is the point if your are just going to eat disgusting spit stained Mac.donalds burger " and if I tried to argue "Natasha do you want to become fat by all the preservatives , of course not you want to look good, here I get you a subway sandwich but no Mac Donald's or Burger King ."
ketchup and tomato sauce are different things, you can buy both in Australian supermarkets, the ingredients on the back are similar but in different quantities. Ketchup is tomato paste concentrate with vinegar, sugar, and more preservatives. Tomato sauce is tomato paste, water, some preservatives and thickeners.
I live in Brisbane and work at maccas, it's called ketchup because it's that particular type of sauce. Tomato sauce is still a thing, just a lil different.
Sometimes I think buzzfeed makes only Americans try mcdonalds outside usa just to make them realize how much better is mcdonalds in other countries as compared to them 💀

***** you talking about the slushy right? lolll that's the only frozen coke that comes to mind
Let’s just say Maccas Australia is better than America at least we Aussies actually cook it AS BACON
yes mateeee
Exactly
Why would you say something so disrespectful Jarlaxle ? Not sure where you were born , I hope not Australia.
Yeah, your not the only one who watches Milo and Shapiro . Your comment is at best juvenile and pretty cringey .
You don't even know what real bacon is, my friend.
“I’m sorry this isn’t bacon”
Your only saying that cause you can’t handle the taste of quality meat
American bacon is mostly the fat
Exactly
No bc American bacon is the best bacon
@@monkeydui7241 yeah you believe that buddy with your cardboard :)
@@poochiepro Still better than the ham you call bacon
I'm Aussie, and I have something to say lol. MACCAS FROZEN COKE IS WAY BETTER THAN ANY OTHER FROZEN COKE YOU WILL FIND!
Nuff said.
It's also $1 Large ;)
heard of hungry jacks? we call it burger king here in the US and we got frozen coke their and milk shakes and hersheys and reeses pie.
Heck yes. Especially on a 45 degree day, and hopefully the machines aren't broken
+Harry Sellick Have you tried 7-11 coke Slurpee?
+Harry Sellick It's garbage. Seven Eleven does it better. But stopped going there, after I heard about there horrid labor practices.
" not the coke im used to." if you know what she means
the guy with the glasses kinda looks like andy samberg
+Arby S YASSS! I was going to make the same comment!!!! I was scrolling to see if anyone else noticed that too!
Except without the big nose. =D
+Arby S I thought he kinda looked like Macklemore.
+Arby S or matt besler ?
+Arby S you look just like your father .
Our McDonald’s is so much smaller than America’s 😂😂 (but I’m pretty sure that’s s good thing)
Thanks Pete it’s is
Where's the Quarter Pounder? Great taste like the Angus was. Way better than a Big Mac. Yuk
We are good at a lot of things. Portion sizes aren't one of them.
I wouldn't be so quick to jump on portion size being a win for Aussies. The US doesn't have the Mega Mac.
Really? As an American, How good does it taste compared to ours? I bet the same but with less sugar.
We don't say ketchup in Australia we say tomato sauce
Tomato sauce as in tomato juice😂
I do like the way Australians say tomato however.
no its not the same thing
I work at maccas australia and we call it ketchup
Jesus I feel like u only call it ketchup when it’s from maccas cause it’s an American brand right?
That is proper bacon. Not extra fatty streaky bacon. American logic...
So true
BarcelonaCobayo1998 Its ignorant to say "American logic". In every country bacon is different... in the USA their bacon is cut differently and more importantly it is smoked unlike some other places... so to them they are absolutely correct , that is not bacon to them. Also dont use the term "proper bacon" because it falls under the same guide lines as stated before...most pork , throughout history has been smoked for preservation , salt curing wasnt introduced till much later because salt wasnt regularly available.. WHats proper in your country isnt in other countries... so that makes your comment....invalid.
***** if by genius you mean moron then i agree with you
+DDelilahM Preach it!!!
+Ben Mather it's fucking ham
Around the world: Bacon is meat with a strip of fat down the side.
America: Bacon is long strips of fat with lines of pork running through it.
"Maybe it was a dream but I feel like one time they had frozen coke in the US"
Ever heard of a slurpee???
What the heck?? We have frozen coke.. Slushes and Slurpee are all over the dang place. You can even get them at Burger King.. where do these people live?
I was thinking the same thing.
Yesssss
Yesssss
I was literally thinking this like they're at every gas station ever 😂
Well whats sold varies by region so idk wat to tell you 😂😂
There's frozen coke at burger king but it's called a coke icee
Yeah it's good
if you say 'Rise up lights' it sounds like an Australian saying 'Razor Blades'
Sounds more kiwi to me
Tom Greaney never heard someone from nz with a twang like that. south african maybe, not nz.
+ℓєιℓα яυιz unless you know what an actual aussie sounds like
ℓєιℓα яυιz It sounds like Risor Blites but I get what you're saying.
I’m from Australia and the Maccas here are amazing! 🇦🇺
The guy with the long hair is gorgeous. Full stop.
+Jeremy Porta ggggagaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyu
+Spencer Ashby and?
i was kidding
Spencer Ashby yeah
Reminds me of France from hetalia.
2:28 Dude have u ever been to Outback Steakhouse pretty much all the food they serve has nothing to do with Australia
I wanna go to outback I haven't been in like 2 years 😩
Tout the thing is, their food is not like any of our food. (We have a few out west)
Yeah, I've heard about that. Just the word steakhouse is orgasmic in Australia because you get these bug juicy eye fillets with a slab of potatoes wedges. It's sad to think that steakhouses names are being ruined by a wannabe steakhouse in the USA
Outback Steakhouse is da bomb
yeah did you know that the original founders of Outback Steakhouse have never even been to Australia? but the foods bomb tho
Aussie Aussie Aussie, OI OI OI!! 🍟🍔
YAS Australia (for Macca's) (I'm a Kiwi).
+Nali Singh was that really necessary
Jaimee_louise99 thats the English flag bro
Jaimee_louise99 OI OI OI!
+alltechn0 British*
As an Australian who has been to America they serve food in big portions. We ordered a pizza and It was the size of the table we were eating at. America is still a fun country to visit.
btw frozen coke is $1 in Aus and thats like 75c in usd.
im hungri
Pepe The Frog mi too
Pepe The Frog mi 3
mi 4
Pepe The Frog mi 4
Hi hungri! How are you doing today?
oh i'm sorry we don't burn our bacon to within an inch of its existence. australian bacon still looks like it came from an animal - which is probably a good thing when it comes to food.............
trha2222 in Australia our bacon is burnt it's just maccas I agree with u
ellymellyvids nah it's just maccas burnt bacon is good
If you can bend it in half it not done.
You don't know what your talking about
American Bacon tends to be thin and crispy. Thicker cuts bacon we tend to call ham. What makes American Bacon good is it's overall thin-ness, fat to meat ratio, and smoke flavor. It's definitely not healthy for consumption.
"Its not bacon" cause you've been eating cardboard your whole life.
lmaoo yup
Yeah it's short cut bacon as in just they eye bit with all the fat cut off.
Fk i hate americans 😂😂😂
back bacon is the best
Yup. And we like it. lol
Australians call it Tomato Sauce not Ketchup
TheShortMan even people at maccas say tomato sauce no one calls it ketchup
Josh Kirkaldy Mcdonalds uses ketchup not tomato sauce, there is a difference, i know this comment is old but whatever
Chanbaek hates me for Planning their wedding because they are kids who don’t actually know the difference xD
Jack not really I’m pretty sure they are used to calling it that. Mc Donald’s May only use the word ketchup in their ads and menus but the workers don’t say it
Im australian and i call it ketchup
I swear American's are too nice. If this was any other country trying American food they would be trash talking everything.
so true
Exactly!
Naah they weren't that nice when trying our snacks 😂😂
How is he mistaken in any way, you watch any american video and they are all respectful even if they do not like it, where as any other country be littles the american foods. The one that specifically comes to mind is anything that involves the Italians.
Yes they would be
"Doesn't have anything to do with the south-west"
Maybe because it's referring to the south-west of Australia not the south-west of the US
100% nope, definitely talking about the US.
shk ish the burger or him?
burger
shk ish what sense does that make if this burger is only sold in australia
TeakySnee It's their take on the south west of the US.
We have frozen coke all over in the US just not at Mcdonalds
They sell frozen Coke at Burger King instead of McDonald's
yea when they eat vegimite there like ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww you are not meant to have a whole spoon full you spread it lightly on a peice of toast the idiots and also a hot milo who the hell puts just hot water and milo and no milk like why would they think we do that that dose not taste good at all
Frozen Coke is just a Coke Icee
Thank you for noticing
+Kilter W I know! They said they don't have it in the us but they do!........ At 7 Eleven!!
But it's damn good! Large for a dollar!!!
+Isabel gonzales All Burger King's do too, and some movie theaters.
+Isabel gonzales Most quick stop gas stations have a version of the coke icee. Our local Exxon/Zoomerz has them.
+Vicki W (pandabear3001) but he said it was chunky 👀
Australian here.
Southwest BLT is life.
Ikr I'm Aussie to btw
Yas
ikr
yes
IKR
Best Macca's stuff here.
Grand Angus, Double Quarter Pounder, McChicken, Shaker Fries and the mighty _Slushie._
Aussie bacon is actually meat not the fat
+Kevin serrino he just said it was meat
+RWD 27 The fat is what makes it GOOD
+RWD 27 YEah plus bacon is from a part of the pig not how its sliced
+RWD 27 Aussie bacon is actually fried ham not fried but u know
+Kevin serrino Hypocrite alert
As an American that lived in Australia for three years, I totally think that Macca's tastes so much better there than in the US. I never eat US Maccas anymore.
abbadazzle and also!!! frozen coke is somehow different to a slurpee!! i like them so much better omg a slurpee has nothing on frozen coke. period.
+abbadazzle I am an Aussie saying your welcome back anytime ;)
agreed
As an Australian going on a 3 and a half week trip to the USA in a couple of months, I now feel scared of what I'm going to find in Maccas over there :S
A lot of it has to do with the our ingredients, and what you have in your burgers and nuggets (meat filler cleansed with ammonia) is banned here
Lol everyone but us has that kind of bacon yet we always say that their bacon isn't real bacon
+Zayd Aldoais No, most of the world likes American bacon the best, even better than their own country's!! Thanks for playing though, better luck next time!
Stonemansteve II Wasn't quite talking about the taste, or I would have mentioned it I believe , but more of the cut of bacon but I guess you win? Im not quite sure how reward you so i'll just say good job!
Zayd Aldoais Aww, I was hoping for a cookie!
"most of the world" Sure Jan
That's exactly what i was thinking. Gotta love it when people present opinions as facts xD
Them: this isn’t bacon
Me: have you even tried bbq bacon
Who is extremely late and who is from Victoria
Random User meeeeeeeeee
Meeeeeee tooooooooooo...... lol
Queensland, FTW
6am count?
VIC all the way
HOLD UP!!! THEY DONT HAVE FROZEN COKE IN THE US???!??!??!! OMG U GUYS ARE NOT LIVING LIFEEEEEE
They had it in the US in the 90's, never really caught on here
Marianne Barmakellis They do lol
Icee has a coke flavor
Marianne Barmakellis yea, burger king has it
40 years ago they sold them at K-Mart. They called it an Icee. It was the only redeeming part of shopping in a K-Mart.
At hungry jacks ( Burger King ) you can get mango " creaming soda " lemon lime bitter
cough, cough, there isn't taco bell in Australia
I wish we did have taco bell, sounds pretty good.
We did for a short time, they partnered up with KFC and sold tacos in some KFCs, but they didn't last too long
FidgetyMouse.
There's a lot of Taco Bill's in Oz.
Rob, lost and late. Where? I must know.
there are at least two in melb. They are no good/not the same as the american ones.
streaky bacon is what the rest of the world considers as American bacon
AMERICA DOESNT HAVE FROZEN COKES?@?!!??!?!?!?!?!?! I'm never leaving Australia omfg. NO.
Johann Diaz my New yorker cousin in law says that Australian Cadbury is very smooth and creamy while American cadbury tastes bland.
We do, just not at McDonald's. Gotta go to Burger King.
Marissa. Correction: Hungry Jacks!!!!!!!!
Emma Powell I've never even heard of Hungry Jacks. You get it at Burger King.
Johann Diaz That too.
Frozen Coke. The ONLY reason to go to Macca's.
Actually their fries a good too. With Sundaes.
Ok. Also good for a drunken feed.
Nali Singh Or go to a corner store they have "Frozen Coke"
Homie HotDog Not for a dollar they don't
Antonio Cruz Yes they do m8
6 years old and eating a Big Mac? When I was 6 years old I was forced to eat a proper meal, and when I ever did go to McDonalds, it would be a happy meal.
but did we ask?
When I was 6 years old I had to sell myself to older men just so that my family could afford food.
+Rainbow Popcorn i feel bad 😟😞😱
*****
How's things now?
When I was young, the only time I was allowed to eat Mac.donalds was at someone's birthday and even then I was only allowed to eat the fries because "Natasha I buy free range organic chicken it's so expensive what is the point if your are just going to eat disgusting spit stained Mac.donalds burger " and if I tried to argue "Natasha do you want to become fat by all the preservatives , of course not you want to look good, here I get you a subway sandwich but no Mac Donald's or Burger King ."
Good to see Americans enjoying Aussie Maccas
What's the difference between a frozen coke and a Slurpee??
BetterThanburningontheceiling cheaper
beau_ nanas Sure, but you can get the same thing at the local gas station for like a dollar
BetterThanburningontheceiling they literally are a dollar
BetterThanburningontheceiling nah slurpees are like $3. could get 3 frozen cokes with that
Okay, then I still fail to see where the difference is here and why they're like wow we need this when you can get exactly this :p
They kept saying ketchup but in Australia 🇦🇺 it is called tomato sauce
BraidynTheBeast ; yeah totally agree!!! But maccas still insist on calling it ketchup here . Not cool !!
BraidynTheBeast Well hires what they are not Australian.
ketchup and tomato sauce are different things, you can buy both in Australian supermarkets, the ingredients on the back are similar but in different quantities.
Since you've clearly never been outside the US, dj, probably best you don't comment on things you know nothing about.
You...you guys don't have frozen coke?
Well we technically do.... We have coke slushies/slurpees which are basically the same thig
nope
(I'm from Canada)
Yeah we do. Well maybe not Californians but the rest of the country does lol
We have 711 coke slurpees so we're set lol
They have them at big boys 😂😂
Sometimes I think buzzfeed makes only Americans try mcdonalds outside usa just to make them realize how much better is mcdonalds in other countries as compared to them 💀
Let's face it, Australia has the best McDonald's.
My_Bay_Jed ur funny lol
Lexus Keepin it REAL least in australia we arent all obese lol
My_Bay_Jed obviously
Well that's where you're wrong. It's India that has the best.
My_Bay_Jed I don’t know I haven’t tried it
I read 'Mighty Angus' as 'Mighty Anus'.... :|
Try the Mighty Anus today!
TheGirlGamer405
Enough about you. What games do you play?
+SpecialKLSX probably Fanf and minecraft so she is "such" a gamer
Christian Nye She hasn't even said anything, reserve judgement 9o9
Mini Lop Least it isn't MOBAs or CAWADUDY!
Guys, please don't worry about us. We have Coke Icees which are basically the same thing as frozen coke.
+Diana Mora in australia frozen coke came put i think last year so its kinda new
BARNEYMANcollection\\\ ///EMANbarney oh we've had these for a while :D
***** where I work it is $1.50 for a large -_- omg where are you getting YOUR icees?
thats cool. but to be honest coke icee is the stupidest name to call a frozen coke.
+nat nili In Canada, they're slurpees or slushies.
Just because we got better bacon doesn't mean it's not bacon it's definitely better than the American piece of scabby bacon
