- In this video, I review all the burning questions a lot of the Genshin viewers have been asking, things like Chiori synergy in a Itto and Double Geo teams or which banner to go for Chiori with Itto or Neuvilette with Kazuha. But besides the usual stuff you can hear about anywhere else, the video also delves into more serious discussions like the upcoming Chronicled Wish 4.5 banner and how this banner can be a bait if you're not careful about it. Basically, this is the best video to find everything you need to know about Genshin Impact 4.5 banner and characters! :D

Edit: Appartently, I missed one critical detail about Chiori's dolls. After reviewing again, it seems like they do not resonate with Zhongli's pillar, which implies that they cannot be constructs. Hopefully that's the case but as always - this is just pre-release video, obviously I'll cover everything about Chiori when she comes out.

I'm just so tired of the devs making the coolest normal attack animations in the game and giving them to the characters that will never use them in any practical application
If one thing they can do better it's the generic basic attacks. Some are way too slow also, so annoying to use.

Hoyoverse won’t do that because that would decrease their earnings. Hoyoverse loves money too much to do that. Remember, any decisions they make, it’s for the company’s benefit, not the playerbase. They’re a business, after all. A greedy one.

Which should be the case. Geo constructs should work like fishl skill and not be destroyed by bosses. If they're going to make a construct an important part of the kit, it should not be so easily destroyed (ningguang and albedo)

@@ragnarokpuppy398 IF geo constructs would work like Oz, then wouldn't Itto's Ushi be too broken? Like Ushi's whole concept is giving superlative superstrength stacks whenever summoned, hit, and fainted, all while taunting the enemy. And then there are geo characters that reacts off of a geo construct being destroyed like Ningguang's C2, Geo Traveler and Ningguang C4.
Best middle ground is for the geo constructs to have continuing functions after death like perhaps hologram constructs or ghost constructs as I call them- they would just lack physical properties like blocking projectiles, being climbed, ascended, or interacted with physically. They would just carry the unique properties like NIngguang's extra star jades, geo traveler's construct explosion, Albedo's solar isotoma field, Zhongli's geo construct resonance, and Ushi's dancing for fun.

Correct. It would have also inadvertently made having zhongli with constellation one a bad thing. Because he could have destroyed the dolls even as the only other geo character on the team.

Geo constructs have big problems with summoning and collisions. And Hoyoverse won’t fix them. Skip Chiori. Her kit works with Geo Constructs. It’s like buying a faulty product.

Gaming feels more like a 5* and kinda Chevrouse as well (her visual design is questionable, but she is stronger than Kazuha)

As a albedo Stan it is kinda disappointing that they copied his mechanic and made it slightly better. Like why not just make albedo better and give chihori a more unique kit

I’m pretty sure Mihoyo doesn’t want to ever buff another character directly, but they should honestly just buff geo as a whole.
There are differences between them, but Chiori and her ultimate was basically nerfed down to be as meh as Albedo. Really sucks. They made her as meh as they did because of potentially powercreeping Albedo. But honestly, its been 3 fucking years, powercreeping some characters a little is fine.
I really wanted her to be a geo healer.
I think it comes down to wanting to innovate the geo identities. Geo has more identities than any other element. Anemo identifies with CC and mobility-base skills, dendro with EM and elemental reactions, cryo with crit rate which is it, pyro with atk, hydro with HP and healing, and electro with ER and being the element of rapidness- attack speed, fast paced, fast elemental application. Geo on other hand identifies with DEF, geo constructs, AND crystallize. Tries to do too many things at once.
Navia focuses on crystallize which is dissonant with the def focus and geo construct focus. Chiori focuses on geo constructs and the def scaling. I hope it just foreshadows that the all-rounder geo support is coming which incorporates all identities into one- crystallize, geo construct support, and def buffer.
My idea of the geo support all-rounder is a geo character that shoots a geo construct into the air, making it harder to hit and consequently harder to break. Said all-rounder geo support would heal the team when an elemental shard is picked up. It would be equivalent to Chevreuse's overload VV res shred, except its sustain focused. The geo support would also buff team def when geo constructs are near their own geo construct, indicated by a dome projected by their own geo construct. This geo support would then create replicas of broken geo constructs (up to 3) that were broken within the dome made by their geo construct, meaning the value of the geo characters don't immediately diminish when the geo constructs are broken.
In short, Hoyo is not done cooking with geo. It's been 2 years since Hoyo has paid attention to geo constructs. What they may not fix permanently (like geo constructs), they would fix artificially via a character. Pretty much saves them effort from fixing any byproducts of tweaking something ingrained in their base code.
I always love how content creators say "potentially" and "from what I can tell", even though they're probably already working on the video guide while playing the beta version(๑•﹏•)
(Edit: I know that they most likely all sign an NDA and obviously have to act like the public doesn't know about leaks and stuff, if they want to remain a partner of Hoyo, promoting and hype up characters in a realistic matter; with emphasis on realistic)

It’s their job, it’s what they make money off of.. why would they tell you how horrible a character is, and then have to backtrack on that when it does come out? Instead it’ll go more like “WE WERE WRONG ABOUT THIS CHARACTER?!”

Even if they aren't playing the beta they have probably seen leaks... although I'm sure there are a few who do go out of their way to avoid leaks. But yeah the majority must know all this stuff and then just pretend not to. Which is pretty silly if you ask me. What a silly world we live in.
Eh, at this point, I think I already have all the characters I want from Fontaine (and every other region) anyway. I was gonna go for Arlecchino, but I kinda just wanna take a break from the game for a couple patches and wait for her rerun if her kit looks good. Kind of a chore to keeping logging in and doing dailies for "the next hot character" anyway. Heck, might even just wait until Natlan before I dive in again.
I agree. I already have 6 functioning well-built teams for the Abyss and any content the game will have.
Getting a new character isn’t as exciting as it used to be. So i’m just waiting for Natlan.

Yeah this is pretty much where I'm at with the game right now. I did the main Fontaine archon quests, got Neuvilette and Navia (and her weapon) and have been taking a break since then. Except logging in once every 30-ish days to claim mail for primos before it expires lol
Same. I'm so tired to level up characters just to beat the abyss when I can easily do it with the same team over and over. Got Xianyun and she'll be lvl 1 for a long time. Maybe log in for an event and do it in a day, or wait for Natlan.
Not only do fate points not carry over to the next chronicle banner, I believe you also don't get to keep fate points if you wanted to change the weapon/character you chose initially

Yeah, Genshin is getting forgotten slowly by HoYo. They are taking much better care of Star Rail, just launched HI3rd 2, and WuWa is just around the corner. To be honest I stopped playing Genshin a long time ago when I noticed just how little attention the game was starting to get, and to be honest I'm happy about that decision. I don't miss it while I'm playing the more loved games.

It's good, because if they do a serious hit, the game might completely die and they will have to do something to bring the player base back

For a character that's already super niche (sub DPS and support that only works for Geo), it's just really stupid that she can't even do her job well unless you get constellations for her. At C0 she can only really properly support the few Geos we have that create constructs. Honestly, it feels like a bait and switch that they keep showing her paired up with Navia in her character trailer since she can't even really support her properly out of the box.
Community is going to get even more mad from this after getting a crappy reward for 3 years this is going to be a cherry on top another slap in the face

8:32 true, the half the line up is standard banner 5 stars. But with this banner, you can make it easier to get the one you want. It took me 2 years of playing to get a Diluc, and some players who've played longer still don't have a Mona.

3+ years waiting to get those specific 5-stars can be the sole reason why me and some of us considered the chronicled wish is a great choice of a banner to pull 😁
We don't know how many more time / effort needed to finally get them or the bitter feelings we have to experience of seeing others that got a 5-star we actually want but we can't get yet 😅

This banner is made for long-time players only, and more than likely whales because it uses intertwined fates and doesn't carry over fate points. For the majority of players, this is a terrible banner that should be avoided.
@@thegreatbum2446It's literally exactly the opposite. It's made for new players.
If a long time player hasn't grabbed a specific character even after it had 3 reruns they're definitely not interested in that character and they will usually go for the newly released ones. New players on the other hand can now grab Klee, Eula, Ayaka, Ganyu etc. without having to wait 1 year+ for them to show up on a limited banner.
The exception of course are long time players who are still missing a standard banner character they really really want.

In my opinion the new banner system is a pretty good addition in the grand scheme of things. This simply means it frees up the limited character banner of older units that need reruns and thus making newer characters have their reruns much quicker than usual. The fate system is by no means any different from the current 50/50 system that we have. Save enough wishes for one and if you win, good for you. But if you lose and don't have enough for the guarantee, that's gonna be on you. You may not like the characters in it now, but having a faster rerun schedule for more desirable characters is a much needed change.

I'm only interested in the new weapon side of the banner. I want to get signature weapons for my faves. I hope they'll be featured since I stay away from the scam that is the other weapon banner :3
The new banner is worse for weapons. The rate is lower (1.85% vs 1.6%), your guarantee doesn't carry over between banners and you have less chance to get limited weapons. The new banner is decent if you only care about a single weapon like Hunter's Path (and never roll on weapons again), but if you're looking to pull weapons in the long run you'll just end up with less for your primos.

@@lte7 I don't care for rates or the fate point since I pull when I have enough for a guarantee. On the new banner, the guarantee is 180, and on the old one, it's 240. I want only two signatures, for Neuvi and Alhaitham. The rest I honestly don't care about. I have no idea if their weapons will even be featured but we'll see, right?

honestly the chronical wish is just weapon banner but better. pity carries over, fate points do not. But because it's only 1 fate point required to get what you want (and you don't have to get potentially 2 unwanted 5 stars to get your actual selection) it's just better. Sure, it's not the easiest banner option to pull on, but it doesn't have to be. It's a middle ground between typical limited character banners and the weapon banner. Not as generous (50/50 carries over) as the limited banner, but not as difficult as the typical weapon banner. I think people are making it out to be a LOT worse than it is.
ESPECIALLY considering when losing 50/50 on this banner you have the chance to get something limited and you aren't locked in to losing to the same standard characters and weapons. Ideally, this Chronical Wish banner will only get better with more iterations, hopefully going down to two or one standard characters with the rest being limited. That alone, the ability to snag other limited characters, does a lot of heavy lifting to make it a decent banner. I mean, imagine in the future you're pulling on a Chronical Wish banner to try and get Shenhe but lose 50/50 and get someone like Yelan? that would be insane
If you want to pull on this banner, especially as a F2P or a light spender, at least prepare 180 pulls. That way you're guaranteed what you want, and there is no risk of the fate points expiring.
what i like about it that you have chance to lose to OTHER limited characters , sure even with standard pools i never get dehya or tighnari yet despite losing 50/50 rather frequent for this past years , the idea in the future for let say i pull for kazuha and lose to zhongli (if they ever add strong chara to the banner) is rather exciting.
@@ArtezanOnline why did you change the percentage to 16.7% with the new banner? It is still a 50/50 banner system, the same as the regular limited banner. The only downside is the fate point system, but again (like i said) it's a step up from the weapon banner and a step down from the limited banner, right in the middle.

i didnt realize fate points dont carry over; i was going to try for mona since i dont have most of the others on banner and i somehow dont have them
a shame, they look really fun to use (also their voice acting is really good and i like the personality a lot)
Be sure you have wishes worth 2 pities. Because if in case you lose your 50/50, you will have to wish another whole pity to get Mona, or else you would have just wasted your Fate Point because it won’t carry over to the next Chronicled Banner. It’s risky. Just know the consequences.

Best to save for 180 wishes. I got the feeling they will screw the rate to give more loses than win.
I believe that the new banner is a way to give more characters reruns now that we're getting even more characters.
By the way, I'm already satisfied with my mono geo (Zhongli, Albedo Gorou & Itto) so I'm skipping. That and because I pulled for Yae Miko
Hoyo really put the “gacha” in this gacha game when they introduced the chronicle wish banner. Sometimes I forget that genshin is a live service gacha game and that any quality of life update is primarily for the purpose of manipulating its users to spend more money on the game.

i dont think so. The amount of characters increase over time so it will be nice to have an extra banner when you dont like both limited banners. Especially for new players ,vertical build players or players who only care about a certain chars

"Forgetting" things like that is why devs these days try to rinse every last penny from playerbases. You are part of the problem by supporting it.
I am actually trying to crack my Geo traveler. So she could be a support for him. And yes, i like Geo Traveler even if he is not powerful.
To be fair after watching Moshashi's Traveler only series... Traveler can be viable and sometimes more fun... specially if you know how to break the game at times lol

Ive rolled on banners secretly wanting to lose to diluc's c6 since release. This banner will finally allow me to c6 him and get his weapon. I will not longer be tempted to pull on any character and can save for supports. C6 diluc is my genshin endgame.

c6 Eula is my endgame. can't wait to see how close i can get to that on this banner. c1r1 is the worst case scenario, c2r1 is the likely outcome, and c3r1 is the lucky/spent a bit outcome if I happen to get close enough to justify it.
Gorou will probably be promoted too, so I'll be pulling on a banner regardless, to finally complete my 4* collection. Most likely Chiori since I already have C6 Noelle built and no need for Itto. Best case scenarios will be an early Gorou or losing the 50/50, since that leaves me with enough pulls for a guarantee down the line, maybe for Arlechino.
Albedo is my fav unit. Having his ticks hit 28k was a hard feat but it happened lol. I use him with Zhongli, Cloud Retainer and Xioa. I mentioned this team b4 cloud retainer with faruzan.

But maybe Chiori’s sword would be a nice little upgrade for him?

@@neanahidden If you actually want to increase Itto's DMG get Redhorn. Even an R5 Serpent Spine can't really compete with an R1 Redhorn. His weapon is pretty much essential for him to do notable amounts of DMG

I was expecting Chiori to be a great support for Navia, but as it turns out, she kinda needs another geo construct, while Navia wants a team of 2 Geo (including herself) and 2 that it can Crystalize fo shards...
hmm, I'll have to check out Chiori and Navia's compatibility once she's out, and decide based on that... I mean, I have a Cinnabar Spindle and no Albedo, so I have a weapon raedy for her, but still.
cinnabar is a poor choice on her actually, HoD performs better
Honestly I’m a big fan of specific supports because most of them finally make non-classic teams like national variants or hyperbloom to be competitive. I’m sure Chiori is going to benefit Itto really well making geo supremacy even better. I’m hating the fact most of teams beg for Benny and Xiangling, as if there is no any other characters in the game at all
Genshin at this point is a niche for casuals. Gamers have left or will leave at some point.
Real gamers were never playing it more than casually, since the only way for the game to be difficult is to not swipe, and STILL faceroll all content that is important. I install genshin when I am not playing something better, and it has a two week life before I uninstall again (at most)

I am generally the type to spend my primo if I see something good, like when navia came out she saved herself, if chiori can do it too then good thing.
Otherwise she looks mid, they were gonna make filler patch, atleast take your time and give proper scaling, moveset.

Still gonna pull for Chiori, and I'm totally gonna turn her into an on-field Geo DPS. She has style, cool normal attacks, and she's the first dual-wielding sword character! And I can possibly finally get Klee with the Chronicle Wish event! I see this update as an absolute win, since I am so far behind on a lot of world and story quests. So now is the perfect time to do them! Those who are calling it a "dry patch" can kindly shut their mouths.
I've been waiting for this video ever since the program. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this third banner is ridiculous. I 100% think it's a 🪤, especially when there's so many standard choices.
I have an extreme fear of dolls; like I cannot walk pass the doll section at a store so I go the whole way around type of extreme fear and this video single handedly made me go from “must pull this character” to “I can’t even do the character domain for the freemos”…
its already in the pinned comment, but yes, chiori's dolls are not considered geo constructs, they are more of like a summon like oz or yae's totems. With this, even though IF chiori will powercreep albedo with pure numbers, Albedo still has something that chiori's doesn't have, that is a geo construct. Hoyo could decide to release more geo characters that synergizes more with geo constructs, and that makes it so Albedo would still have more synergy with that character than chiori.

I really hate how bad character design is, why can´t hoyo create more interesting kits. We should have way more buffer and debuffer at this point in time, there are so many ways to change reactions like a physical Pyro Unit could have the passive to lower physical resistence on burning enemys and stuff like that. We are in 4.5 and all we get is slightly better albedo?! That´s so boring and sad
true, and then when they make really unique cool and interesting kits like dehya freminet and kaveh, they absolutely slaughter their multipliers😭😭

Hoyoverse needs to stop this stale mono geo shenanigan. it can’t even utilize the Crystallize reaction properly.

would be nice if Hoyoverse introduced a geo character who provides different buffs depending on the element of the Crystallize shard you get:
- increased Attack for Pyro shard
- increased Crit Rate for Cryo shard
- increased HP for Hydro shard
- increased ER for Electro shard
*IDEA 3:*
or a geo character who makes Geo Constructs indestructible or highly durable, and increases the number of constructs on the field from 3 to 6.
*IDEA 4:*
or a geo character who can interact with Dendro Cores. if this geo character hits Dendro Cores with geo, the cores will create thick wooden vines that ensnare enemies in an AoE and drains their HP and heals your on-field character.

or a geo character who lets your on-field character gain elemental infusion as long as they’re shielded by Crystallize. the infusion’s element will depend on the element of the Crystallize shield.

or a geo character who can create an AoE sandpit where it groups enemies toward the center of the pit. a geo character who can do crowd control. that would be unique so that Anemo characters aren’t the only ones who can crowd control enemies.

I have a geo-focused account but even i am sceptical of pulling for Chiori, since I already have Albedo. However, I'm tempted by the weapon banner since both Itto's weapon and Chiori's weapon seem useful to me, but I doubt accounts other than my niche ones would like the first phase banners over the second phase banners here lol
I'm only pulling on the weapon banner because either I get her weapon or ittos.
She is like double better than Albedo because of her Dolls not being destructible, having bigger range and just more dmg
I don't mind the couple of filler patches. I need to get caught up with Sumeru and Fontaine. So behind....

There’s so much that Hoyoverse can do with Geo and Crystallize. Chiori’s kit is boring compared to the ideas I suggested. It’s like Hoyoverse isn’t even trying. It’s not that difficult to be creative with Geo if Hoyoverse really tried.
It is also worth noting that the Chronicled Banner is the ONLY way to get Beacon or Hunter's Path. I am glad Hoyo is giving a way to get these weapons again, as well as a guarantee for a Standard Banner character.
I really with this banner used Standard Fates though and/or it didn't use the Fate Point system

Speaking of fate point, the regular 5-star banner probably has it. Come to think of it, let's pretend we're going to write a program for it, the programming side, to keep track of the guaranteed ones, we will use a variable while also taking consideration of the 50/50 aspect for the next pity. There's literally no reason to want Chronicled wish to use Acquaint Fates, 99% of players don't have them stockpiled the ones who want the new banner to use blue fates (I assume that's the reason ? Otherwise it's just plain stupid, ypu get less than 10 acquaint fates *per patch*)

Genshin is completely dead. Literally no one plays it anymore. It died back during Inazuma. The last time anyone cared about it was when they showed all the Harbingers.
Wuthering Waves is amazing though. Probably the first flawless gacha ever made. It killed Genshin and it's still just in beta test!!!!

These "filler patches" with Mondstadt events are where we learnt about the Fake Sky, Alice, Albedo's AMOGUS plot, Varka, The Captain and Hexenzirkel.
For lore and story players, there's no such thing as filler, only more content.

We found out where Varka took the Knights to and what their mission is, from there we learn about The Captain as a person and what his objective is as well. We also learn that Varka adopted Razor as well as Rosaria who both took on certain aspects of his character, this also explains why Rosaria is Cryo, which is granted to people who desire Love, especially in the form of family; Rosaria was an orphan and desired a family the most, despite her acting cold, she showed care for Razor who she sees as her adopted brother even if they've barely interacted before.
We also find out Varka's opinions and relationship with Diluc, Kaeya, Alice, Klee and Albedo. There's a lot of text for all of them, but what we learn is that he is truly a family man, and like a father who is always hard at work, he misses his family and cares deeply about everyone. He understand Diluc's decision to leave the knights, Kaeya's relationship with Diluc, he is very informed on what Alice has been doing and how her family is.
Hexenzirkel has so much lore that people can now make entire family trees, find out their relationship with Khaenriah etc.
We now know not just the names of each member, but their magic circle and family crest, as well as the current generation of Hexenzirkel that will inherit their roles. We learnt about the active involvement of Alice and Nicole not just in events but also Archon Quests, we learnt what and where other witches have been doing or not doing. We found that Lisa's magic circle is the same as Andersdotter, that Diluc's family crest could be related to the Hexenzirkel.
Nicole in particular was revealed to be the witch who spoke to us at the end of Sumeru Archon quest and later involved herself again in Fontaine, along with Alice being the one who narrated Wanderer's Collected Miscellany, we have strong evidence that the Hexenzirkel operate at a level beyond the influence of Irminsul and can perceive fate and destiny despite changes just like the Traveler.
The information dropped at the tea party also further boosted our understanding of the dialogue between Skirk and the Traveler and Neuvilette as well as the understanding of the forces at play at a level far above the Archons.
I had to keep it extremely brief but all of the above are connected to Khaenriah, Celestia, Cataclysm Albedo, Gold etc. the overall grand plot of what the final arc of Genshin will be about. Back in Honkai 3rd, we found out in chapter 35 the final arc of part 1 that we have been hinted and foreshadowed stuff all the way back in chapter 1. Hoyoverse lore is extremely intricate and well thought out, that literally every single aspect can lead to deep consequences. Who would have known that Kiana's name is a hint itself, but luckily in Genshin the lore community is so active that Paimon's entire existence is now being examined daily for all sorts of clues.
This patch is shittier the more i look at it, Chiori looks cool but Albedo suck ass and she's gonna suck ass but slightly less😂😂(i hope i'm wrong tho)
New banner is straight up a bait scam with garbage catches, seriously it wouldn't hurt the the company if the guaranteed stayed even if the banner changed like the actual character banner.
As for the banners(all of them), why would anyone pull for Chronicled with these banners Chiori is a pass for me but hey it is what it is, Itto is imo still one of the best DPS characters in the game(at least when it comes to fun to play) and then Kazuha who is as broken good as always plus Neuvilette. . . .need i say more for this guy?

Well, you still can use her and she is still the best option, cuz her Doll is better than Albedo flower and their damage is equal if Chiori has only one doll. But c1 is needed for this team. It's literally the only team where this con is not useless
if I do pull on the chronicled banner, I'll try to get Mona and I actually don't mind losing the 50/50 since I like all of the characters there (and I'd probably start using Diluc again if I get more of his constellations)

Actually on chronicle wish it's fine if it is have the character we wanted .especially because there are many of those who spend a lot pull on character banner than their signature weapon for an f2p. It's like rerun thingy and then they can pull right away rather than waiting don't know how long. I know hoyo don't want to put character more than 6. If get more than that to choose would be awesome right?
If we are only talking about Abyss. They could just increase the geo/construct damage and that would temporarily ramp up the numbers, I am sure they will do it at Chiori’s banner. What would be even better is that they could update the geo resonance bonus and geo could easily become Meta 😂. I think I remember they revised the Hydro resonance bonus 🤔
I kinda like the chronicled whish, as an f2p i already save up enough wishes if i lose a 50/50, as to not waste any, so needing to save up like that doesnt really change anything, and it just makes certain characters/weapons more accessable

Kazuha is a universally amazing Support character. He is an excellent buffer of elemental damage. He can carry Viridescent artifact set. He is an excellent enemy grouper. And in the open world, Kazuha is also great for exploration. Support characters like Kazuha are more future-proof than DPS characters like Neuvillette. I’d go for Kazuha. DPS characters are replaceable and you have many other options: HuTao, Ayaka, Alhaitham, Yoimiya, Xiao, Itto, Klee, Ganyu, Navia, Wanderer, Eula, Cyno, Diluc, Keqing, Wriothesley. But a fantastic Support like Kazuha are harder to replace.
However, if you need a really strong DPS character, Neuvillette is currently the strongest DPS in the game. So, it’s really up to you. Whichever you get is a wonderful choice.
I’m so grateful that we finally have a way to guarantee characters like Diluc I want him since two years ago when I started the game

I will only pull in the chronicle wish if :
1. there's no standard banner weapon/ character
2. I can make use of every character on the banner
3. There are multiple archons

Never understood that complaint. Unless you're a new player, it will take over a year to save enough standard fates to reach pity 2 times. If the new banner used standard fates, it would just be a big screw you to everyone who converts all primos to intertwined fates.
i have an ideia to optimize character wishing and weapon, just get the character and then wait for the character to appear in the chronicled banner to get the signature weapon (if the character appears soon of course) since it's way better to lose 1 50/50 instead of 2 to get a featured weapon, this prevents from wasting too many primogems and guarantees more easily the weapon you're looking for, also you can reserve way more primogems to guarantee another future character.
and roughly 2 extra years for your desired weapon to lose all its value 👍
something that ppl aren't talking about is the fact that rewards in the game will stay the same so f2ps will struggle more to summon on limited and chronicle banners

It would help a little if the Chronicled Banner uses Acquaint Fates instead of Intertwined Fates, so we don’t have to wish anymore on the Standard Banner, which is a bit redundant now.

There’s nothing that the Standard Banner offers that’s better than the Chronicled Wish Banner. So I’d rather just use my Acquaint Fates on Chronicled if possible. Besides, they’re selling us old limited characters that are outdated and powercrept (klee, albedo, eula).
If we use Acquaints, we would not need to touch our intertwined fates. Why would you not wanna protect your Intertwined Fates? It would let us dedicate our limited Intertwined Fates on newer limited characters. Do you not see the advantage?
@@skyhart9926 You're talking like people have hundreds of AFs just sitting around. Even if the banner used AF, you'd end up spending Primogems that would've gone towards IF otherwise.
If you keep your Primos and don't convert them then basically it makes no difference which Fate the banner uses. And if you converted them to Intertwined beforehand, then you wouldn't be able to wish on this banner.
The only way to improve this would be to make the banner accept both Fates, but this will never happen. What you're suggesting is a downgrade.

I have a dream where you run albedo and chiori together with itto and gorou, or maybe even Noelle just for the sustain. With Noelle Furina, you would want to include Gorou, but have no space or both Chiroi AND Albedo but I'm sure Furina/Noelle/Albedo/Chiori has a place too.

So basically. On Chronicled wish banner, you have a chance to lost on 50:50 for twice. One intentional and one by accident. But they have more character now. Hopefully I got Dicluc because looks like miHoYo forget to include him to my accounts wishing system.😅

Just pull Chiori for the design if i'm lucky that is. Only play like once a week or fortnight and i realise i don't have much primos anymore, not even those currency left that you can use to buy the monthly fate.
But once you drop that fomo and let luck flow naturally, if you get it you get it, if not then whatever ...
For the new banner type at least for this one unit wise it's a hard skip but weapon wise yeah the new banner is a lot better for getting the event weapon you want if the event weapon you want is on the banner then the actual event weapon banner.

Chronicled Wish is great for collectioninsts that only pull for meta, so you can have characters that they would not pull there, yet losing a 50/50 becomes a small win if a new character is pulled
Finally ill be able to use all those DEF main stat trinkets with perfect 4 liners....
