I always love when Dr. Wagner laughs and how you take it as seriously as it should be taken. It's a cartoon, so it should be fun. Thank you for making these, Doctor.
Quick fact Van Gogh didn't cut his own ear off, his mentor Paul Gauguin cut it off with his fencing saber and the two of them made a "Pact of Silence" after the fact, so Van Gogh made up that story to protect his friend
I'm surprised that there wasn't a brief mention on how Brian went into the kitchen drank a lot of water shortly after the effects of the mushrooms were beginning to wear off. I suspect that the aftereffects of mushroom hallucinations can cause the one who did the shrooms would get incredible dehydrated.
Honestly it's crazy how I've been subscribed since he was in his first couple thousand subscribers now he's at 2 Million my favorite doctor reacting channel
Hi, Dr. Wagner! I just saw this Family Guy reaction video and I loved it! As a matter of fact, I love all your Family Guy videos. Thank you so much for putting content that we all enjoy watching and learning about different medical injuries.
I have read where some doctors will remove or operate on the wrong appendage accidently. I've gone in to surgery before and before the surgery, the surgeon would come in and chat with me and would mark the affected area with a marker to ensure no mistakes were made. I kind of appreciated the caution.
Hello doctor, I am a big fan of Mexico. Hey, have you thought about making a video about the Yellowstone series? There are interesting medical situations and accidents.
I'm a retired electronic technician and I've been hit with high DC voltages before; thankfully low current. I shook them off, but I remember having some spectacular dreams those nights. The charge must have straightened out a lot of curves in my brain's neural pathways!
The show “Squidbillies” has lots of hilarious medical scenes, like when Sheriff lost his arm and put it in a bag of rice! And Dan Halen tells him “You idiot that’s for wet cell phones.”😂
Speaking of allergies. For the first time, I felt an acute allergy in the store. One day I went to a household chemicals store and not only, it looks more like a supermarket of household chemicals, body care products, perfumes, etc. Of course, there are many different smells. And as soon as I got there, after a couple of minutes, my palms began to itch very much, first, then my face and the rest of my body. I had to go to the nearest pharmacy to get allergy pills.
5:40 My father's friend lost one leg and one arm as a result of an electric shock due to government negligence. he was paid monthly compensation, but not so long ago he died due to alcoholism. He was a good man, but an electric shock broke him and ruined his life, and no monetary compensation is worth it.
Mythbusters actually tested if a ceiling fan can seriously injure or decapitate someone and they determined that while it would be quite painful for a person to be hit by a ceiling fan, it wouldn't generally cause grievous permanent injury and it's highly unlikely to put you in the hospital. Family Guy has a tendency to wildly exaggerate injuries for the sake of humor.
Once in my country there was one case, a man was delivering something but it was raining, he was hit by lightning once and he was able to get up and walk, then again but still survived, this is very strange. (I wrote through a translator, sorry for the unclear words)
i love hearing the problems with lightning strikes to the body. I didn't hear about searing of the organs inside due to being cooked by the heat of the bolt. That seems to be a problem too.. you're partially 'done' inside.
there used to be a series called bizarre e.r. basically the strangest injuries hospitals ever encountered. there was one bloke who cut his thumb off; his wife grabbed her sewing kit and sewed it back on herself. nurses applauded the effort but suggested she leave it to them next time. give it a watch if you can.
Wild lettuce is a fully legal form of opium and a psychedelic. It's known to have very powerful medicinal value, is fully legal in all states, and oddly is literally everywhere
Didn’t expect the show to go and include psilocybin mushrooms in a skit. I live in Oregon, which happens to be the first state to have decriminalized the substance and approve of it for supervised therapeutic usage in 2020. An experimental procedure, but so far there have been no reported incidents and those who’ve gotten it seemed to enjoy it. (This is not an endorsement for use.) The clip definitely shows why one shouldn’t be left to consume it on their own. For the record, I have not had the procedure. I don’t live in one of the 11 Oregon counties where it’s legal (though my county will allow it starting next year). I just wanted to comment on it.
High speed spinning things versus hands never end well. Boat motor v hand was one I've seen... Note: it's hard to get an x-ray when their hand is in a bag of ice, at least we're pretty sure it was most of his hand...I barely had time to process the x-ray before he was transferred (and this was before digital xrays).
I think i had a panic attack once when i had a nightmare a year ago, i woke up with a racing heart and i didnt know why, i had this death anxiety that made me believe my heart would stop with beating so quick, luckily nothing happened as time went on, i got better, gathered more information about my situation, but while that happened, i keep having these thoughts that my heart would stop while i slept, i was so scared i almost couldnt sleep for hours!, turned out it was just a small nightmare that was the cause at that time
@@DoctorER This is a Russian cartoon from 2003 about round animals living together in a chamomile valley and in their series telling interesting, sometimes philosophical stories. in 2011 we switched to 3D and in 2020 we switched again to 2D. The English dub was made in 2018 and includes the classic 2D series, all episodes of new adventures, a spinoff called "PinCode", a spinoff for the little ones and 3 full-length films.
I’ve had hives that you could watch spread in real time, in minutes it covered my torso and up my arms. My doctor said it was a reaction to penicillin antibiotics.

Actually, lightning is AC current. It isn't DC current. DC current can't travel through air. I know this because I'm an electrical engineer. The reason people don't spasm with lightning strikes is because the lightning strike is so fast that they don't get a chance to.
Having had a minor amputation I know they check multiple times with different methods and different people what is going on, the side which it was happening was maked with permenant marker, I had to repeat what waas happening to each new person I met, they checked my chart to see if that was correct, the surgeon and anesthetist also asked, even though it was a minor surgery(IMO anyway) there we so many checks to make sure the right proceedure was done, I'm glad to be living in this time and my country that accidental surgeries don't happen.
Doctor Wagner I had a question for you. Two years ago I broke my wrist, and while it’s healed fine, sometimes when I wake up, it feels like it’s back in the cast, aching. Is this normal?

Family Guy has some hilarious medical scenes, usually involving Peter or Brian lol 😂
Quick fact Van Gogh didn't cut his own ear off, his mentor Paul Gauguin cut it off with his fencing saber and the two of them made a "Pact of Silence" after the fact, so Van Gogh made up that story to protect his friend
Wow
Also it wasn't the whole ear but the tip of it.
Nope. It's a well known fact that Van Gogh had schizophrenia. He heard voices and assumed his ear was defective, so he cut off his ear lobe.
@DoctorER Yeah, they recently discovered letters between the two talking about the pact
I'm surprised that there wasn't a brief mention on how Brian went into the kitchen drank a lot of water shortly after the effects of the mushrooms were beginning to wear off. Having done them a few times, you do get a bit dehydrated. At least I did, and I think that's because my muscles were passively tense the whole trip
Another banger from Dr. Jordan Wagner! Big fan of your videos!
Much appreciated!
Doc, you have to do King of the Hill! There are LOADS of injuries in that series!

Peter's arms getting ripped off is injury i LEAST expected to hapen at the momment💀
7:40 Wow. I doesn't expected that the panic attack would be so severe.
Anxiety can manifest SO MANY kinds of physical symptoms from rashes to stomach problems etc.

The saddest thing about the episode where Peter has the Robin Williams touch is that it predicted Robin's suicide.

That was Adam West in the lightning scene. He guest stared as himself in many episodes but he played more of a kooky version of himself.

5:54 mayor Adam west, he makes doctor heartman (heartmen?) look smart
4:28 There are different theories why van Gogh did this. One says, he suffered from tinnitus and wanted it to end by cutting his ear off.
