The microkorg editor computer program is a lot easier to mess about with than the controls on the synth. But you need a compatible midi interface. I bought an old tascam midi interface which works fine.

I just got one today and no audio is coming out. The lady I got it from said it worked in the studio of her late ex husband and said it worked. I see similar complaints on the internet elsewhere. Any way to fix this? The lights and everything else works.
Edit: Just saw your reply to another person asking this, thank you! For anyone scrolling you gotta:
1 Hold down the SHIFT key and press the 7 key.
    The display will indicate "pld"
2 Turn the 1 knob to until you see "glb" for a global reset
3 Then press the flashing 7 key to reset

Does anyone know if the microKorg automatically syncs up with the click on a device such as the Zoom R24?

What's the difference between turning your Program Select dial to "vocoder" and turning the 1/Cutoff to the right to change the settings to vocoder?

Hello, I have a Korg Micro.
All the lights come on normally,
    but there is no sound.
    I don't know why.
There is no flickering in the tempo.
I don't know if something is wrong with the setting.
Is there a way to reset it?

    • @NickCapron
      @NickCapron  3 года назад

Okay, first thing I would try is to hook up audio out from the headphone jack and see if you get sound. If that doesn't work, try the main outs on the back and see if you get sound. FYI the newer microkorgs have built in speakers but the older version like mine do not.
OK so if neither of them are working, you can try a factory reset by:
1 Hold down the SHIFT key and press the 7 key.
      The display will indicate "pld"
2 Turn the 1 knob to until you see "glb" for a global reset
3 Then press the flashing 7 key to reset
If that doesn't work, I'd try to feed in MIDI notes with a Midi controller or pc to ensure it isn't a problem with the keys or something.
      Good luck!

@@NickCapron Thank you so much for the quick reply I'm running now,
but I ran as you said and everything worked
After that, pct keeps blinking on the LCD.
Do I have to wait a long time to initialize?
It seems like 5 minutes have passed now.
Is it okay if I keep waiting?

@@레트로창고 I'm thinking you have write protect enabled, sorry I should of told you to turn that off first, don't worry nothing should be messed up, to turn off write protect, hold down shift, press 8, it should show utP, then turn knob one until it shows off and push 8 again
