Amanda Batula is relieved that the Loverboy offices are far enough away from their apartment to avoid Kyle if need be. Carl butts heads with Kyle over how his time is spent working at Loverboy, but the two decide to reassess what Carl would like to do at the company. Without Kyle, Carl would have been very unemployable for a long time. Now he is sober, he is forgetting the people who were there for him
How does Carl feel like he's working 90hrs a week but then agrees that he's taken his eye off the ball and hasn't taken care of things? Strange. Like either stay with the company or transition out but you can't stradle the fence. He's lucky to have a friend as a boss who will work with him.
Kyle by not firing Carl is actually enabling Carl now. Enabling his unprofessionalism. That's not good. Because others who work for Kyle in the company would accuse Kyle of playing favourites, double standard how he treats Carl differently than others. Why should Carl get a get out of jail card.
If other employees did what Carl is doing, they would have been fired long ago.
Agreed. Doesn’t justify Kyle airing out Carl’s dirty laundry from his addiction struggles on national tv but it’s clear as day that Carl wasn’t pulling his weight at work. Kyle could have gotten that point across much more respectfully

Carl, this is your bud that went to bat for you at your lowest lows, ate; never gave up on you. Lindsey, Lindsey, the chaos lady of the underworld 👻 😂. If she loves Carl, she'll step out of the boys' business and let them figure it out. Or she's going to sabotage Carl's next job too. 🙏 Woman stop. Carl is nice.
You automatically blame Lindsay, but say nothing about Amanda. Carl and Lindsay have as much right to discuss their respective work lives with each other as Kyle and Amanda do. Carl is a sovereign being and will, as usual, make his own decisions. Kyle discussing Carl, an employee, in public and on television, is outrageously unprofessional. Probably actionable, too. Even if he had a legit gripe, he should've taken it directly to Carl. This stuff isn't meant for public consumption.

If you read my post properly I'm more concerned about the beautiful brotherhood of Kyle and Carl. Bc it's real. I'm sorry but my opinion doesn't favor LH bc she's behaved like a Karen from day 1. Amanda is Switzerland even when her hubby is legit frustrated about the business. So, yeah you cannot compare Amanda to Lindsey bc Amanda cares about both of them. Ok I'm done 🤣
@@palavergirl7450 I watched it. And one time of trying to calm down her off-the-chain husband does not a Switzerland make. Amanda is codependent and cares about Kyle not making a scene. Furthermore, she knows he's wrong about Carl and carrying on in public, which exonerates Lindsay for standing up for her man, who's been a friend of hers as well for years, and encouraging him to do something both worthwhile and supportive of his sobriety and to not sell himself short. I guess Kyle wants a fkn medal for giving Carl a chance (or was it getting help cheaply by holding his addiction over his head?).

I do agree Carl shouldn't work at loverboy, he's sober. But as far as Carl and Lindsey, I hope for the best, but there does seem to be a certain something off about it... Like a toxicity... The way Lindsey is just taking over his life, and he's just going along with it... I don't know, I love love and I advocate for marriage, I'm married, but that toxicity is going to fester. Maybe they'll go the distance, but once their married and they realize that it's work, and it's hard, that honeymoon stage is going real fast. Lindsey just seems like she's checking an item off her list. And life is not a grocery store.
It's coming across as a power imbalance between the both of them. Like she's controlling and manipulating him to behave like her puppet. It's the same as what she has done with Danielle.
In my experience it's the people who say they're busting their asses and working 90 hours a week who really aren't doing anything. :) and Carl no longer works for Loverboy. FYI
Has Carl made adems for all the harm he has caused his friends and coworkers. A lot of people in recovery like to forget all the bullshit/hardship they did.

It's not authentic. How does he go around and sell when clients ask him for his opinion of the different Loverboys' flavours? Clue me in.

Kelly H. If I may, Carl is really Sobriety goals bc he had a loyal mate and good support system in Kyle, Amanda and pretty much most of the cast friends. I think he's amazing for what he's achieved. I'm worried Lindsey will isolate him and he's going to revert back to his demons. He's so lovely and had to suffer so much bc of major trauma. I am proud of him.

Kyle liked Carl when Carl was an addict and weak. Now that Carl is sober, Kyle is jealous and is out to bring him down by any means. I'm glad Carl is recognizing his self worth and happy that Lindsey helped him create a better life.
