Yep incredible fans.. my Malaysian team played them two weeks ago in a preseason cup in yogjakarkta... game was delayed for two hours because of the rain.. and 25k fans stayed there the whole time in torrential rain.. absolutely crazy

its our football culture.. literally almost every club in liga 1 & liga 2 have supporters like this. I dont know in other city, but in Surabaya this culture when further to the senior high school students. Almost every senoir high school have supporters like these with awesome choreograph and chant. They support for their futsal, basketball, and even volley team. If you interest to see these students in action you can search "songomania" or "gambesmania". Just two example of many others
As a Thai football supporter, we have the best football by far in south east Asia but have no culture of supporting local teams as the league is 20 years old and many teams younger than that. I really envy Indonesia when it comes to the support for their own teams, it's great to see Indonesia have their League back after it was taken away from them by FIFA.

Their inspiration is Galatasaray but the words they use - like Brigata Curva Sud - came from Italian ultras. Indonesia always loved Italian football and our ultras too, especially in the 90s when we had the best teams and a strong ultras movement and I'm proud of that.
