    4:00 do they traditionally do the tadka shown? do they use chili and coriander traditionally?

      Dal soaking time is 18 to 24 hrs & dhokala not puff as compair to instant dhokla, pls give real recipe of dhokla which actually done.

      Channa dal dokla is less spongy but healthy version compared to instant one.I shared both the recipes. Do areate it well ma'am ... If you prefer more spongy , add pinch of soda & mix it, at the time of pouring the batter in the cooking dhokla plate. I hope this will resolve your issue ma'am. Thank you🙏

    Thankyouuu Sooo Much Mam For Such delicious Traditional Recipie ♥️♥️😘 I made it todayyy and it came out to be super delicious♥️♥️♥️ i was soo tired of using eno in dhokla recipies and now finally i got an Amazing dhokla recipie which is traditionally prepared and is amazingly healthy and yummy😍😍 Mam may i know can i ferment any Dal such as green or yellow moong to make Dhokla in traditional way? Will it be fine?

    I made this dhokla 2 times but cake texture not come it comes out pudding .

    Do i need to keep it in fridge while fermenting? Or leave it outside for 8 hours overnight?

      Leave it out. It should ferment a little. But not for too much time need to adjust according to the climate you live in. If it's warm then for shorter period if it's cold there, for longer period untill it gets that Fluffy.
